Chapter 86 Poisoned Yonny

The men came to Sioux’ Hall of Healing, one of the top three alternative medicine hubs. The owner of this place was a famous doctor who went by the name of Hector Willow. His skills were the real deal, but he was an arrogant man.

Lucian and Austin came to this place to get some herbs.

“Get me these herbs.” Austin tossed a prescription to the intern and stared at the ladies around him. He laid eyes on a beautiful woman, and he started to leer. “That one’s nice. Big butt. She’s good if you want to get a son,” he whispered.

Lucian stayed silent. He was speechless about this. How can he be such a skillful doctor and yet so lewd at the same time?

“And see that one with the seductive eyes? She’s experienced in bed. You might be a powerful man, but she can make you cu m in three minutes. At most,” Austin whispered into Lucian’s ear again.

Lucian shot him a look and retorted, “Bull. I can last for more than an hour.”

“And you still won’t last more than three minutes with her. That still makes you a go d. Most men won’t even last three seconds. Look at her tongue. It’s so long. So soft. One little lick, and most men would finish straight away. She’s even better than that widow my master h ooked up with,” said Austin solemnly. He seemed to have experience in this.

Wait. How the hell do you even know how skilled the woman your master h ooked up with was?

The girl who was getting them their herbs overheard this, and a look of disgust welled in her eyes. I thought they were gentlemen. So they’re still the same as every other man. I can’t believe they’re doing this in broad daylight. “Here’s your stuff. Now pay up at the counter. Don’t waste the other customers’ time.” The girl tossed a few packets of herbs at Austin.

“Hey, watch your attitude.” Austin shot her a look of displeasure.

“Let’s go.” Lucian knew full well they were only given attitude because of the conversation. He dragged Austin to the counter, or he might actually argue with the girl. I am not going to embarrass myself like that.

They paid for the herbs and were about to leave, but then a girl hurried into the building, holding an old man. She shouted, “Dr. Willow, you have to help my grandfather! He’s sick!”

The crowd’s attention was gained.

“Mr. Dashton? What happened? This looks serious.”

“I sought him out when I was selling my antique a few days ago. He was healthy. What happened?”

The crowd whispered,

Youny Dashton, the city’s most renowned collector. Since he was eighteen, he found himself among the crowd of antique aficionados, Decades later, he found himself to be the biggest collector in this city, and his net worth was in the billions. But he never flexed his wealth, and he was this nation’s acclaimed appraiser. He was always seen on shows.

Back when Lucian was a child, his father bought a vase from this very man, and he was there to witness it. “Alright, let’s go” Lucian was in a hurry to heal his mother, so he tried to take Austin away,

Austin looked at the old man solemnly. “This old man is dying, I don’t think the doctor here can heal him. I should stay”

“Sure,” Lucian nodded. His mother was in no hurry to be healed. Yonny was obviously seriously sick, and Austin might be able to help him. He couldn’t just stand by as a citizen was dying.

Hector quickly came down when he got the news. If he could heal Yonny, the old man might just give him an antique that was worth a ton of money. “What happened to him?” Hector approached Yonny and Cindy,

Cindy was crying, “I have no idea, We had a few guests who came over to talk about the selling of shares. Things were going great, but after the guests went back home, Grandpa fell. You gotta help him.”

“Piece of cake,” Hector checked on the old man. “Don’t worry. It’s just food poisoning. I’ll just whip up something, and he’ll be fine.”

Cindy felt more at ease, and she heaved a sigh of relief.

A moment later, Hector came back with the medicine. Just when he was about to feed it to Yonny, Austin stopped him, “Do not feed him that. You’ll kill him.”

The crowd turned their attention to Austin.

“What are you talking about?” Hector roared.

Solemnly, Austin said, “It’s not nonsense, that’s for sure. This is no food poisoning. Rather, his food was poisoned. If you let him take your meds, it’s going to make his condition worse or kill him outright. I’m a doctor too. I know what I’m talking about.”

The crowd broke into a discussion.

“Who is this kid? He’s questioning Dr. Willow?”

“And he calls himself a doctor? What a joke. He’s nothing compared to Dr. Willow.”

“He’s questioning Dr. Willow? Someone kick him out.”

The crowd was getting a bit agitated. They worshipped Hector’s skills, and he had been their teacher over the years. He was not someone a kid could insult easily,

Lucian noticed things were getting out of hand, and he said, “He’s my brother and a decent doctor. You can trust him.”

“Bullsh*t.” Hector glared at Lucian. “You must be his accomplice. Bet you two are here to scam the public. You think Mr. Dashton will be grateful to you for this and give you tons of antiques, won’t you?”

“That’s not what we were going to do.” Lucian’s face fell. How dare he?

“I think that’s exactly what you were going to do. You knew Dr. Willow could easily cure this, and yet you still step in. I bet you just want Mr. Dashton’s stuff. How shameless.”

“Dr. Willow can save him easily, you punks. I bet you just want Mr. Dashton’s items. Everyone knows he’s a big collector.”

“You can’t trust them, Ms. Dashton. They’re obviously crooks. I heard them talking about how a girl is experienced in bed. They’re scammers. You can’t trust them,” Hector’s student quickly said.

Cindy’s face fell. “Shut up, the both of you. Don’t get in the way of Dr. Willow. If anything happens to my grandfather, my family will make you pay.”

“Fine, sure. Whatever you say. Just don’t come to us if anything happens.”

Lucian and Austin exchanged a look of displeasure.
