Alpha Nicholas

"We think so. The Rogue confirmed that Lisa had been using magic to help the pack and he also knew that she could easily cast a spell to put someone in a trance without even being too close to someone. A couple of years after they all disappeared, we heard that Lisa had planned it all. She was the one behind getting Tony to the pack that day but she didn't plan on him bringing anyone with him so when she saw a teenage boy in the forest at the right time she cast the smell and started running."

"Only she hadn't stopped long enough to confirm it was Tony and instead cast the spell on Adrian and by the time he had gotten to them it was too late for her to do anything about it, and sending him back was a no-go, so they decided to keep him. No one has seen or heard from him since. Of course, we tried searching for him for almost an entire year but we suspect that after we had destroyed their business they disappeared to another country."

"Wow, that's a lot to take in!" I give her the time that she needs to gather her thoughts while still working on keeping myself somewhat calm. "So Lisa planned on getting Tony to her and taking him away?" "We're not sure what her original plan was but we assume so yes but to think that he would go alone is just crazy. Adrian's dad never got over losing him and is now a Rogue himself but he's a lone Rogue, he doesn't mingle with any Rogue packs. He became Rogue and set off to look for his son and to this day he's still searching. I don't think he'll ever stop, not until his days are up anyway. My dad still speaks to him, he usually calls once a month to check in and Its always been made clear that he has a place here but I know that he won't ever return, not without Adrian anyway."

"What about his mom?"

"She died when he was a baby, another Rogue attack."

"Wow!" "Yep!"

"So did you ever replace out if they were kidnapping teenagers and forcing them to have children?"

"We did." I take a deep breath as I prepare myself for what is to come, the worst and yet best part of all. "After the Rogues were killed our wolves went in to check the hut and found several rooms. All the she-wolves were kept alive until they gave birth and then were killed. If they couldn't get pregnant within 5 months they were killed anyway.

The guys were killed once they had produced a child or the same, they were killed if no Child had been produced within 5 months. My pack... they found several she-wolves heavily pregnant and got them back to their families but they also found a few that were dead and hadn't been disposed of. There were only two teenage boys there and they were both dead but they hadn't been dead long and my dad suspects that they were killed just before we arrived."

"That's so awful. I just don't understand why anyone would do it, or how they could do it. How did they even manage to do it? As awful as it is to think about I know how they could force the girls but how could they force the boys?"

"They would put them to sleep and well... they had some sort of machine that... well at the end of it they had semen produced from the boys and used that."

"This is insane!" Her beautiful eyes go big and round as she tries to take it all in and yet she still hasn't heard everything.

"Wait, you said you and Tony woke up in a room... do you think that they...?" I nod causing her to gasp and slap her hand to her mouth. "After we found out from the Rogue, Devon how it worked, we suspected that it had been done to us but of course, we didn't have any proof well, not then anyway."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, as I said we didn't have any proof which was hard to deal with, it took both Tony and me a long time to learn to live with not knowing. The only saving grace for us was the fact that the place was attacked straight after we woke up so even if they did manage to... well, you know... we couldn't have fathered any children. Of course, life doesn't like to be that simple."

I take a deep breath and push my next words out before I chicken out and run from here. "One day When I was 16 I had just got home from school when a guard linked my dad telling him that he, my mom, and I were urgently required at the main entrance to the pack house. We had no idea what was going on but we quickly got there only to replace an older wolf standing at the steps with a little girl in his arms. She looked to be about 2 or 3, she was so tiny, but the moment I looked into her eyes I saw it..."

"Oh my goodness, Lottie!" Bonnie jumps almost falling off the bed but I manage to grab her in time. "Be careful you're still healing."

"Sod that I'm fine! Lottie was the little girl on the steps wasn't she?"

"She was. It turned out she was almost 4 years old and looked just like me."

"But how? I don't understand. I thought you said they couldn't have used any of your..."

"The older wolf with her was her granddad. Well, the only grandad she had ever known. It turned out that Lisa and the Rogue Alpha had also taken a select few members of the pack with them without anyone knowing and also some samples. They have some wolves stay back to collect them, and im guessing that they waited around long enough to take ours too. They wanted Lottie's mom to have several babies to help them build a new pack but she didn't want to. She didn't want any part of it nor did her dad." "However, one night when she was sleeping they somehow injected her with my semen, or whatever it is they do and she got pregnant straight away. The day she found out that she was pregnant, she and her dad ran and never looked back. Lotties grandad told us that they had wanted to come to us sooner but they needed to stay hidden away from them so he moved them to another country to keep them safe."

"Oh my goddess, that poor girl. How did they know that you were lotties dad?"

"They have bragged to her that she could be the one to birth the first child of a future Alpha and had given her my name."

"Wow. I hope karma came for them." I nod agreeing as anger swirls throughout my body. "So why did he come here after all those years? And where was Lottie's mum?"

"Sadly her mom couldn't get over what they have done to her and struggled to bond with Lottie and ended up taking off when she was just a few months old leaving her with her grandad. He came to us because he was sick, his wolf had been fading for years since the loss of his mate. He said that he couldn't be the grandad that she deserved anymore, that he couldn't give her the life that she deserved so he used the last of his money to hire bodyguards to protect them while he brought her to me."

"Poor man, he suffered so much. And you replace out you have a 3-year-old daughter at 16, that must have been mind-blowing!" She's right in what she says. When I first realized Lottie was mine I'll be honest I felt like running for the hills but the smile I know is playing across my face right now says that I didn't and that I don't regret a goddam thing!

"I shit myself! I'll be honest I didn't think I could do it and for a short time, I didn't even know if I wanted to but in glad that I did. Raising Lottie from such a young age is without a doubt the hardest thing I have ever done but it's also been the most rewarding thing ever and I've never once regretted raising her. She's my world!"

I see tears in her eyes but she's smiling wide and then she shocks me by leaning forward and wrapping her arms around my neck. In my moment of shock, I freeze but I'm soon pulled out of it when I feel her tense up and pull back from me moving back to her space on the bed. "No, you don't." She lets out a gasp as I grip her under her arms and lift her onto my lap so that her legs are wrapped around my waist and I hold her tightly to me.

"I'm sorry, you just shocked me that's all, but now you can stay right here while we finish talking." She lifts her head to look at me and her smile lights up the whole room, and in that moment, for the first time since I met her, all I want to do is kiss her but I hold back because once I kiss her she is mine and there's no going back which is what I want but I still don't know if she wants me, not after how I've been, I Still don't know if she's planning to leave me or not.

Fuck, now that I have her here with me, the thought of losing her kills me. Why did I have to be such a prick, why couldn't I have just had my shit together when we first met. Maybe if I had then I wouldn't be in this position now. I already know that if she does leave me then it is only because of my own stupid ass but still, If she does go I'll never get over it and it will be all on me and I'm not sure how I will live with that.
