Back to Love: A New Beginning -
Chapter 58
Chapter 58:.
In the evening, Derek took me to a room. He didn’t turn on the light, so it was pretty dark inside. He told me that he wanted me to sleep in this room with him.
I realized that his goal was not clear.
When he saw that I didn’t say anything, he leaned close to my ear and whispered, “We can’t let Grandpa see us sleeping in separate rooms, can we?”
I wasn’t sure if I was being overly sensitive, but for some reason, I felt there was an underlying meaning to her words. Also, the sensation of feeling his breath on my ear tickled me.
It made me so nervous that I pulled away from him and ran out of the room.
Once outside, I found Derek’s grandfather watching TV in the living room. He must have noticed me, so he smiled at me and asked, “Eveline, are there any mosquitoes around here? I forgot to give you a mosquito repellent incense. Here, take one.”
I took the mosquito repellent incense and went back into the room even though I didn’t want to.
The light was still not on in the room. Derek was sitting in an old cane chair, cross-legged and looking at me with a smirk.
I glared at him. Then, he suddenly stood up and walked over to me. He lit the lighter in his hand, took the mosquito repellent incense from me and lit it.
“It’s still a bit early, do you want to go to bed now? If you don’t want to, you can appreciate the night scenery instead. The quiet of the countryside is very different from the city, isn’t it? Oh, but don’t leave the balcony! Otherwise, the mosquitoes will feast. When I was a kid, I liked to sit on the window sill and gaze at the night scenery for hours.”
The windowsill was well designed. It was a large window, and the bed was close to it. If you lay down on the bed, you could see the vast sky.
I climbed onto the bed, but did not dare to lie down. I sat on the veranda, which was covered with a soft cushion. Sitting on it was quite comfortable.
Seeing the stars and listening to the croaking of frogs, I soon forgot all my worries and gradually calmed down.
“Seeing the night scenery of the countryside is also inspiring to some people.” The sound of Derek’s voice seemed to be almost next to my ear.
“Inspiring how? To make poems or something?” I joked without turning away.
Derek didn’t respond for a long time. Just as I was about to turn around, I felt the warmth of his body pressed against my back as he whispered in my ear, “Inspire people to make love.”

Suddenly, I froze. As soon as I realized what he meant, I wanted to run away.
However, Derek quickly wrapped his arms around me and nibbled on my ear.
“I’ve been inspired. Have you?” the mere sound of his voice delighted me.
Derek was a great observer. He probably realized that my ears were an erogenous zone for me.
As I struggled feebly, I stammered in a shaky voice, “Derek…no! Don’t!”
The roughness of the gauze of his hand brushed against my skin, crushing my rationality bit by bit. When he pressed me against the sill, the coldness of it restored some semblance of reason. In a fit of panic, I pushed him away. “Calm down, Derek.”
“I’ve held back enough!” The sound of his voice was husky and tantalizing.
In fact, I already had a feeling that he wouldn’t be able to hold back for long. After all, he was still a man.
“Stop it, Derek. Grandpa’s still outside,” I commented, hoping the excuse might convince him to stop.
With a devilish grin, he stood over me and replied, “Grandpa’s a man too. He’s already experienced intimate things like this. He will understand.
What are you so afraid of?”
It was so aggressive that it took me by surprise. My fingers clutched at his back as I passively accepted his powerful thrusts.
Although I had once been married for two years and even got pregnant once, I had never experienced hot, passionate, wild sex, because Shane never guided me in this regard or even considered how I felt.
Soon, Derek and I climbed down from the window sill onto the bed. There was nothing else I could think about but the fire of pleasure we were sharing. The only thing on my mind now was that he had told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me.
Once we were done, we wrapped our naked bodies under the sheets.
I leaned against his chest, drawing circles on it as I felt uncomfortable. “We shouldn’t have done this, Derek.”
Derek kissed my forehead, letting out a heavy sigh.
“Eveline, there’s no need to feel guilty. I’m your husband and you’re my wife. What we did was something married couples normally do. There’s nothing wrong with it. I can give you what Shane never could. From now on, no one will be able to pressure you.”
I was feeling moved when she suddenly put on a wicked grin and added, “Apart from me.”
