Chasing My Rejected Luna -
Chapter 110
TEGAN'S P.O.V
I blankly stared at his face, fear spreading across my body.
"In the flesh." He said as he spread out his arms.
"How are you here?" I asked, not really grasping the idea of him being able to leave.
"Oh, I am free to roam as I see fit. This here was my meat suit when I was human. I'm not like my disciples. I can come and go as I please, not stuck to one place if I choose to not be."
"How did I not know you owned this place so close to my home?" I asked as fear overtook my thoughts again. He was always near and I had no idea.
"I go by another name here. But fear not, this is my business establishment. No harm will come to my good customers while being here."
"How long has Lucy been coming here?"
"Lucy... Lucy... I meet so many, remind me of who that is?"
"Short black hair, wears a lot of black, went that way not even 5 minutes ago with permission granted by you. Don't act like you don't know who I am talking about."
"AHH! Lucy, right. She goes by widow here."
"Why would she go by widow?" I asked, confusion taking over again.
"Her stage name of course. Lucy is an employee here. I guess some dark humor lingers in that girl. She wears only black with red lips and names herself widow. Therefore, I can only guess her name is in reference to a Black Widow." "Does she know who you are?" I asked, avoiding the fact she had been working here for goddess knows how long. Possibly playing both sides this entire time.
"Well, nobody calls me by my given name, only the name I give. So it's safe to say probably not. However, I do know her." He said as a wicked smile crossed his face. "How about we go talk in a more private setting, maybe my office?" "So you can get me alone and kill me?" I asked dramatically.
"If I wanted you dead, you'd be dead already dear. But you've done nothing to warrant such an action. This is more of a friendly meeting." He said while walking passed the burly man, his hand outstretched for me to follow.
I looked over at the bouncer but his eyes remained looking ahead. As if he was minding his own business.
I walked past the man stepping ahead of Iblis. He then proceeded to walk alongside me. Allowing us to walk at a steady pace beside one another.
Screams were echoing down the empty halls, but he didn't flinch. The beating music from the club drowned it out so nobody else could hear. "Why are they screaming?"
"Screams of pleasure." He said while stopping in front of a door, unlocking it.
"That didn't sound like a pleasurable scream."
"Really? Sounded like music in my ears. Brought me pleasure." He said with a low deep chuckle.
When we entered the room he waited for me to take a seat before he closed the door then rounded the table to sit himself.
"So, where to begin?" He asked.
"How about what you are doing here?"
"I told you dear, I own this establishment. I am clearly here to make sure it is running smoothly."
"You know that is not what I meant." I said, anger laced in my tone.
"Oh, you think I am staying close by for Elias?" He asked with a chuckle.
"Don't say his name like you know him!" I raged.
"Well, I will get to know him. We will become best buds."
I stood as my eyes shifted, the powers inside coming to life as the anger intensified within.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you. It wouldn't be a wise decision." He said as he pushed a button on his desk.
A beep coming across before the other end connected.
"Yes, Sir?" The voice asked.
"Send in the worker for room 2 please."
"She has a client at the moment, Sir."
"Then you will take over. Send her now." He said before pushing the button, disconnecting the line.
Room 2 wasn't what I saw Lucy go into. She went into room 6. Why would he ask for room 2?
"Go on, sit back down. No need for anger, especially until you see for yourself." He said with a dark chuckle.
Soon a tap on the door had him looking over, a major smile spreading across his face.
"Ahh dear, do come forth." He said with his hand reaching out again.
I however didn't turn to look. Uninterested in his facade.
Soon a glimpse of bright red hair emerged in my peripheral vision, grabbing my attention. The urge to look hit full force.
I quickly snap my head to the side to see a face I only dreamt of. I cut my eyes back to him to see the smile even bigger on his face. "That was worth the wait was it not?" He asked as he clapped his hands together.
"I don't... I don't...-"
"Understand? I mean come on dear, how could you? You were only just a baby." He replied with a laugh.
"But you died..." I then said looking at the now confused woman who stared back at me.
"I'm sorry, do I know you?" Her confused voice asked, making my heart clench in my chest.
"Of course you don't, dear." He responded to her, smiling.
"Oh, okay. Am I supposed to train her, sovereign?" She asked, looking at Iblis.
"You know what, I didn't need you afterall. Go on back to your station dear." He said while swishing his hand to dismiss her.
Once she had left my eyes cut back to see him as his eyes glistened with mischief.
"Why doesn't she know me?"
"How could she?" He asked, laughing.
"Because she is..-"
"Not the same person you want her to be." He responded by cutting me off. "But still her nonetheless." He then said with a shrug. "You had her all this time?"
"I did. Magnificent surprise right?"
"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS!?"
"I needed a service, she had what I needed. Simple decision."
"This place, what is this place?"
"A club." He replied smiling.
"You and I both know that whatever they're doing has nothing to do with dancing!" I screamed.
"You're right."
"Are they some form of prostitutes?" I asked, my heart now in my throat.
"Of course not, how degrading would that be."
"Then what are they doing for you?"
"Let's call them my Tribal Assassins." He said with a chilling smile across his face.
"I can see Lucy interested in something so vile but not her." I said as tears sprang forward.
"You're mother is the best assassin I have ever had. In fact she is so good, she is my number 2."
"But she... she died giving birth to me."
"Is that what you were told?" He asked, laughing. "Oh no, she didn't die. She is clearly very much alive."
"Then why didn't she recognize me, her own flesh and blood!?"
"It's been 20 years. Why would she recognize you?" His evil voice asked.
