EZRA'S P.O.V

We planned all week; I couldn't go in blindly. This was a plan that Helga and Liam had spent years formulating. No last-minute ideas would do. I prayed that in the time Tegan was in his possession she was safe and hopefully she would not do anything rash. Helena said that they wouldn't do the ritual until the next blood moon, which gave us plenty of time to get a good plan going. The blood moon was still two weeks away, that gave me enough time to take down my local targets before rescuing my mate from our major target. All that mattered was their safety, nothing else. I would kill Liam were he stood for ever thinking he could harm my mate and child.

"Okay, are we ready?" Tanner asked impatiently.

Our first target was the most obvious. Elder Jackson. He seemed like the easiest target of them all, one I could break with ease. "Go and tell him that I was questioning let's say Kirk again in the dungeons and see if he comes." "And if he doesn't?"

"Then give him this." Helena said taking out a small pouch of dust she had mixed up. "Do not inhale the particles, simply sprinkle some in his face and he will instantly fall asleep. It is very powerful so use with caution." She said as she handed over the bag to Tanner.

After Tanner disappeared, I began to look in the king archives of all of the pack lands. I pulled out the blueprints for the Twisted Oak Pack, Liam's pack. As well as the blueprints for The Silverline Pack, Kirk's pack. I was carefully looking them over as I had done many times before. If we wanted to do this discreetly, we had to do it quick. Which means one pack needs to be taken down then immediately the next, so it does not become known.

"Let's hope they are the only two packs working together." Helena said as she looked over Silverline blueprints.

"Let's also hope this is up to date enough to maneuver around the pack lands." I replied.

"It wouldn't surprise me if Alpha Liam updated his pack unknowingly in case of his plans backfiring." Uriah said.

He was right, there were so many grey areas to the plan we came up with, but it was the best plan we could get in such a short time. Uriah had been with us every step of the way. He was the one who came up with the plan we all finally agreed on. 'Alpha, he wouldn't come. Said he had some matters to attend to first, so I powdered his a*s. Tanner's sudden mind link came through.

'Meet us in the dungeons.' I replied back.

'He's hoisted over my shoulder and we're heading that way!

'Perfect.' I said before cutting the link.

"Let's go get some insight from our Kingdom Elder." I said out loud to Helena and Uriah.

We headed straight to the dungeons, meeting Tanner at the entryway. Once we have the answers needed, we will take them down accordingly.

"Take his phone from his pocket then chain him to the table." I said to Tanner as he sat him in the chair.

Jackson's head falling, hitting the table hard. He was still knocked out from the dust. Tanner then handed over the phone as he got him in the silver chains. I could hear the sound is skin sizzling as the Elders wrist started to slightly burn from the silver touching him.

A werewolf's weaknesses were silver and wolfsbane. Wolfbane was harder to replace due to wolves burning it all over the years when they come into contact with any, however I had a garden that specifically grew wolfbane alone. I am sure I wasn't the only one to do this. Those who did, kept their stash a secrete to use as a weapon.

I began to scroll through messages carefully. Their names weren't saved under an alias. For an Elder, he wasn't very smart.

-The plan is in action. The girl is on her way to the hotel now. - Elder Jackson sent to Kirk, however received no response.

I went over to Liam's name next, and the same message was sent to him, however Liam did respond.

-You will receive your pension for the help you have given, inform me of any strange activity with that King of yours. -

-He is no King of mine, you will be a better King than he ever could dream of. He is acting out; something isn't right here. His contract and weak bond should not make him act this way. -

-Thank you for the information, you are a good informative and Elder. -

That was all that was sent via text. There were some calls made after, but my guess was to probably update Liam about me. Liam had insiders I would have never suspected. Elder Jackson was supposed to serve the throne and the throne alone, he took an oath but apparently oaths mean nothing to him, he sure acted like they did.

Nothing in his phone, however, leads me to believe he actually had a role in this grand plan. As I laid his phone on the table his eyes began to flutter open.

"Ahh Elder Jackson. Rise and shine." I said making him jump, looking at me in surprise.

"What is the meaning of this! You cannot do this to an Elder!"

"According to section 5 of article 4 in the book of Elders, the King shall deal with treason how he sees fit." Uriah said slamming down the book of Elders in front of Jackson.

"Treason, you speak nonsense. I am loyal to the throne!"

"Are you?" I asked sliding his phone part way over with Liam's messages on display.

"That is an invasion of privacy!" He roared out.

"So is watching me fuck but you didn't mind doing that." I said as I pulled his phone back to me.

"How about we send a little message to the wannabe king, aye? Draft me up something worthwhile." I said handing over the phone to Uriah. "While he does that, meet my friend Helena. She has a special way with getting the truth." I then said as Helena stepped forward making his eyes bulge. "You...You're supposed to be dead!"

"So are you for the crimes you've committed, yet you're talking." She replied as she blew truth dust in his face.

"So, let's begin. What all do you know of the plan involving Tegan." She asked.

"I know she is special, a wolf they want. Although, I am not sure what good she is without a wolf. I only had one role. Get her there, I will be rewarded big."

"I had a feeling he was useless. Kill him." I said as Tanner stepped forward.

"PLEASE SPARE MY LIFE, I HAVE MORE INFORMATION. I KNOW HE WILL DO THIS BEFORE THE EXPECTED DATE!" He screamed.

"When?"

"In one week's, time!"

"Why do it early?"

"I don't know."

"Wonderful. Thanks" I replied nodding to Tanner.
