Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1017: There will be no peace

Looking at their departing backs, Brimlad breathed a long sigh of relief, "It's finally settled."

"Auntie, is it true that Cousin Goode will marry that man?"

Eloise was afraid that Goode was just speaking in a moment of anger and would turn around and backtrack.

"Your second uncle loves to save face, and to avoid that girl seeking exposure in the media, he would have let Goode marry someone even if he had to use bondage." Eloise was relieved when she said that, "That's good."

Although the girl was the one she had found to teach Goode a lesson, the baby in the girl's belly was indeed Goode's and she had done a good deed, I guess. Only, there will be no peace in the future for the second uncle's family.

Back in her room, Eloise sat bolt upright on the edge of her bed and sighed as she recalled what had just happened, "Do you think I've gone a bit too far?"

It was surprising that she felt a little pitiful when she thought of her second aunt's angry face.

Hector walked over and whispered, "You really are still too nice. Think about what Goode did to you and you'll see that you didn't really do too much. You're just letting his children claim their ancestors." Eloise shrugged her shoulders and sounded helpless, "That's the only way to think about it now."

"Well, don't think about that." Hector sat down beside her, raised his arm around her shoulders and asked with a smile, "Want Solomon, Sweety to come over for a few days?" Eloise turned her head and looked at him in surprise, "Is that okay?"

Hector nodded, "Well, that's fine. I'm going to arrange for Thomas to come over and take charge of the new company over here and have him bring the two little ones along." "That's fine." Eloise finally smiled, "Just as well I have time for them."

Hector laughed, "I'll have Thomas bring them over then."

...

The next day Thomas showed up at the old Khan family home with Solomon and Sweety.

Brimlad was so happy to see the two little ones that he couldn't keep his mouth shut, holding one in one hand, "Two little babies, auntie and grandma missed you so much." "I miss my aunt and grandmother, too." Solomon said crisply.

Sweety was quick to agree, "I want to I want to."

Eloise looked at them with a smile Brimlad, "Little Aunt, they will be here for a few days and may have to give you trouble."

"How is that a nuisance?" Brimlad feigned an unpleasant glare at her, "I can't wait for them to live right here all the time."

Eloise lost her smile, "You'll get bored when they stay long enough."

"I'm sure I won't." Brimlad sounded sure of herself as she took the two little ones, "Come on, Auntie Junior is taking you to eat something nice."

Turning her head to watch the two girls heading towards the dining room, Eloise shook her head and smiled.

Following that, she withdrew her gaze and looked to Thomas, "Hard work."

Thomas shook his head in flattery, "Miss Eloise, it wasn't hard at all."

Eloise smiled and turned her head to Hector, "I assume you have something to talk about, I'll go and replace my brother-in-law and the girls." With that, she strides off towards the dining room.

As soon as she left, Hector's expression tightened and he asked in a deep voice, "Has there been any movement in SA Group recently?"

"SA Group and Bergerian have resumed their cooperation." Thomas said.

Hector snorted coldly, "John is so undying." Then he asked, "What's the status of the herbs now?"

"I have sent men to intercept them at the port, but it will be some time before they reach Italy."

Hector nodded, "No matter what, that batch of herbs must not fall into John's hands."

"I understand."

Thomas suddenly thought of something, "By the way, Prince, Ramm says he has found out the location of several Bergerian institutes and asks what you are going to do next?" Hector frowned, "Why didn't he just ask me?"

"We were talking on the phone last night and he mentioned it in passing, it's not like I'm coming over to Kyoto today. So it was decided that it would be better to ask you in person." "I'll contact him directly." Hector said, "We'll go to the Khan Group later and you'll have full control of the new company after that."

Thomas bowed his head respectfully, "Yes!"

When they learn that Hector is going to the office, Solomon and Sweety clamour to go along.

"I'm going, I'm going."

Sweety kept arguing, making Eloise's brain hurt a little. She squatted down, level with Sweety, and patiently coaxed, "Sweety, Daddy is going to work, not play, you can't go with him!" "I'm just going to go. I'm going to get my brother-in-law." Sweety turned her head away, looking like there was no room for negotiation.

Eloise was a little bemused as she turned her head to Solomon, "Baby, are you going too?"

Solomon nodded, "Well, I'm going to replace my brother-in-law too."

Eloise sighed helplessly, "You two are still so close to your brother-in-law, Mummy I'm getting jealous."

At that, Sweety stepped forward and threw her arms around her neck, "We love Mummy the most."

Eloise lost her smile and lifted her hand to stroke her little head, "Don't think that just because you say that, Mummy will let you go."

At this point, Brimlad spoke up and said, "Let them go, they're so well behaved and they won't make a fuss."

At these words, the two little ones immediately cheered out loud.

Eloise frowned, "Auntie, they'll interfere with their cousin and their work."

"Then just go along, won't you." Brimlad said.

Eloise was speechless for a moment.

In the end, she did take the two children with her to the Khan Group with Hector and the others.

...

Edgar was naturally surprised by the arrival of the two little ones and picked Sweety up in a hug.

"They were clamouring to come to you, so I had to bring them here." Eloise's tone was unmistakable.

Edgar turned his head to look at her and saw at a glance what she was thinking, "Eloise, it's okay, they're well behaved and won't interfere with my work." "That's right, we won't argue." Sweety said in a milky voice like a little adult.

Edgar smiled and pinched her nose, "We Sweety are so good."

Eloise glared at her in disgust, "You'd better do what you say, if you argue I'll take you home right away."

"As ordered."

Sweety made a saluting gesture, which made several of the adults present laugh.

Earlene received a call from Edgar about a new company and asked her to come to the Khan Group.

She wanted to reschedule, but when she heard that Hector was there, she dropped her work and went straight to the Khan Group without saying a word.

It was only when we arrived that we found out that Eloise was there.

Even the two children were there.

Looking at the two children playing in a corner of the office, Earlene's heart felt something indescribable.

"Earlene, you're here." Edgar greeted her enthusiastically.

"How did they... get here?" Earlene asked.

Edgar replied with a smile, "They were clamouring to come to me at home and my cousin had no choice but to bring them here."

"Earlene, you don't mind, do you?" Eloise, aside, asked.

Earlene curled her lips in a smile, "Why would I mind?"
