Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1052: I advise you to stop thinking about it

Italy.

In order to replace the institute where Professor Curry was located faster, Hector asked Killers to help him investigate Rowson's current residence. He wants to get useful information from Rowson.

On this day, Rowson returned to his flat as usual.

As he pressed his finger on the fingerprint lock, he glanced sideways at the man in black a few steps away from him.

It was the man the Bergerian had sent to keep an eye on him.

That was the price he had to pay for joining Professor Curry's research team, without a shred of freedom.

With a pang of irritation at the thought, he withdrew his hand and turned, looking at the man in black with an expressionless face. "Are you hungry?" He asked.

"Not hungry.

Rowson raised an eyebrow, "If you're hungry, go get a meal, I'm not going anywhere."

The man in black didn't move a muscle.

Seeing this, Rowson's mouth curled in a sneer, "Never mind, forget I said that."

He opened the door and went inside.

The man in black did not follow him in, but approached and stood in the doorway, like a god of the gate.

Rowson took off his suit jacket and threw it on the sofa, pulling off his tie with all his might, a grim look covering his handsome face. The bloody Bergerian didn't trust him at all.

Even after joining Professor Curry's team, he still wasn't allowed to touch some of the confidential stuff.

When was he going to get his hands on the most important information?

At that moment, his mobile phone suddenly rang.

It was an unknown number.

He picked it up, "Hello."

"Mr. Rowson, the pizza you ordered is ready, where can I deliver it for you?"

A woman's voice came on the other end.

Rowson frowned, "I don't have ..."

He was about to say that he hadn't ordered a pizza when a thought flashed through his mind and he changed it, "Just take it to ... for me." He gave the address of his flat.

"Okay, I'll deliver it right away."

Hanging up the phone, Rowson walked over to the couch and sat down, thinking back to the call he had just made.

Who the hell was on the other end?

After about twenty minutes or so, the doorbell rang abruptly.

Rowson stood up and answered the door without hesitation.

When the door opened, there was a tall man standing outside, wearing a shirt with a pizza shop logo on it and a duck-top hat with the brim down so low that his face was not visible. Despite this, Rowson felt a strong sense of familiarity come over him.

"Sir, this is the pizza you ordered."

The man spoke in a fluent Italian.

It was a voice that Rowson would never forget even if he were dead.

He curled his lips, "Hard work."

At his words, the man looked up.

Four eyes met.

Rowson narrowed his eyes slightly, the smile on his lips faded, he glanced at the man in black at the corner of his eyes, and then exchanged a look with the man in front of him. The man comprehended this and his figure suddenly flashed.

Before he had a chance to look away, he saw the man in black fall to the ground.

Rowson laughed softly, "I never thought the chairman of the Rogers Group would be so sharp and clean."

Hector took off his hat and said in a deep voice, "Long time no see."

Rowson looked at him, "It's been a long time. Come on in."

He turned and walked inside, Hector following close behind.

The door closed and silence returned outside as the man in black lay motionless on the floor.

...

"Have a seat."

Rowson greeted Hector and sat down, then asked, "Something to drink?"

"Not necessary."

Rowson raised an eyebrow and didn't insist.

He walked across to Hector and sat down, opening the door to ask, "You're here about Eloise, aren't you?" "Hmm."

It was only Eloise that could make two men who didn't like each other sit and talk so calmly together.

"What do you want to know?" Rowson asked again.

"What institute is Curry at?"

I expected him to ask directly about the virus, but I didn't expect to be asked such a thing.

"What do you want to do?" Rowson asked instead of answering.

"You should know what I want to do."

Rowson nodded, "I know. professor Curry and I are in the same institute."

He gave an address that sounded familiar to Hector.

It was the very institute Ramm now had someone watching.

"Are you sure he's there?" Hector didn't quite trust Rowson.

Rowson couldn't help but laugh, "What would I lie to you for? I'm with him every day, would I not know where he is?"

Hector was silent.

"Except he hardly ever leaves the Institute, he eats and sleeps there."

That was why Ramm hadn't found Curry after all the time they'd been watching.

"Where are you guys at with your research?" Hector asked, suddenly speaking up.

Rowson shook his head, "Not sure."

Hector frowned.

"I know you don't believe me, but I really don't know." Rowson took a deep breath and continued, "I joined Professor Curry's research team some time ago, but Curry is in charge of core research that I simply don't have access to." At this point, Rowson couldn't help but feel a little frustrated as he smiled to himself, "I thought that by joining his team, I would be able to save Eloise, but now it seems that I was thinking too easy. From the beginning, Bergerian didn't trust me at all."

Although Eloise had contracted the virus because of him, Hector was more or less impressed with him in his heart for his willingness to go to such lengths for Eloise.

"How is the Institute on alert?" Hector asked.

Rowson's brow furrowed hard at that, "You want to attack the Institute directly?"

Hector didn't answer, acquiescing.

"Are you insane?" Rowson got a little emotional, "This is the Bergerian's most important institute, do you think security would be less than tight? Anyone who comes near it is immediately beaten to a hornet's nest, I would advise you to dismiss the idea, after all you have Eloise."

"I never do anything I'm not sure of." Hector said, "And Eloise's time is running out."

At these words Rowson jerked to his feet and stared at him incredulously, "What did you say, what happened to Eloise? Is it a viral attack, didn't I have my mother deliver the medicine to you personally?"

In response to his repeated questions, Hector calmly replied, "The virus hasn't kicked in, Eloise is fine."

Relieved, Rowson looked at Hector with a tearful smile, "Then why are you saying Eloise doesn't have much time left?"

"Because the drugs don't keep the virus at bay, once the drug becomes resistant and the drugs don't work, the virus will kick in. I think you know that better than I do."

Rowson was indeed well aware, and he clenched his fist, then unclenched it and asked, "Will you trust me?"

He looked steadily at Hector.

And Hector nodded slightly, "I believe you."

Receiving his affirmative answer, Rowson hooked his lips, "Good then, I'll figure out Professor Curry's side, I'll do everything I can to get their current research information."
