Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1053: You know what you're doing

The next morning, Rowson went out and saw the man in black still lying on the floor. He walked over and kicked the man in black.

The man in black opened his eyes abruptly and quickly stood up.

"You can go back to bed if you're sleepy, it's easy to catch a cold sleeping on the floor."

Rowson glanced at him and turned to stride towards the lift.

Behind him the man in black frowned, how could he be sleeping on the floor?

He tried to think back to last night, but couldn't remember anything.

"Together?"

Suddenly, Rowson's voice came.

Only to see that Rowson had entered the lift, and the man in black couldn't think much about it and rushed over.

When they got to the Institute, Rowson punched in and went to the locker room, as usual.

George was there.

He snorted disdainfully when he saw Rowson.

Rowson's brow twitched slightly, but he didn't say anything. He pretended not to see George and changed into his white coat. "Get out of the way!"

As George passed Rowson, he deliberately bumped him hard.

Rowson was unprepared for the moment and he hit the shelf next to him hard.

"Hiss!" Rowson sucked in a cold breath of pain.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Fu. I didn't mean to."

George's mouth apologised, but his face was one of gloating.

Rowson clenched his fist, stifled his anger and forced out a smile, "That's okay."

Perhaps not expecting him to hold back this time, George snorted and casually belittled him, "Wasted!"

Rowson maintained his smile and watched him leave.

When George had gone, his face instantly sank.

He raised his hand and rubbed his shoulder, narrowing his eyes slightly, the shame he had suffered today would be doubled back on George one day. "Fu, what's wrong with you today, you don't even look like you anymore?"

Catherine said as she walked in.

She had witnessed what had just happened and her heart was hanging in the air, fearing that Rowson would fight with George, just like before. But surprisingly, there was no fight, and Rowson even had a smile on his face, showing no sign of anger.

Rowson glanced at her lightly and turned to close his locker behind him.

He didn't say a word and Katerina's eyes flashed with a hint of annoyance as she grunted coldly, "It seems I was wrong, you're disgusting as usual." "Katerina," Rowson called out suddenly.

Katerina froze.

Because he had never called her 'Katerina' before.

A strange feeling crossed her mind and Katerina coughed uncomfortably, "What?"

Her tone was a little harsh.

Rowson raised an eyebrow, "Do you know what Professor Curry likes?"

"What are you asking that for?" Katerina furrowed her brow.

"Nothing, just that we're all on the same team and a bad relationship is quite disruptive to work."

Katerina wasn't convinced by Rowson's reasoning and she snorted, "Fu, I've known you for a while, I know exactly what you're thinking."

"Oh yeah?"

Rowson looked intrigued, wrapping his arms around his chest and looking at her good-naturedly, "So tell me what I want to do?"

"You've gone to the trouble of joining Professor Curry's team, but you still don't have access to the core research, so you want to get on Professor Curry's good side, don't you?" I have to say that Katerina was quite clever, and had him figured out right away.

Rowson didn't hide it and nodded very openly, "Yes, that's what I mean. So, are you helping me?"

"Why should I help you?" Katerina asked instead of answering.

Rowson didn't push it, "It's okay if you don't help, I'll figure it out myself."

With that, he strode out of the dressing room.

Catherine turned her head and watched in disbelief as he just walked away.

She couldn't help but laugh, didn't he know that if he asked her, she might agree to help him?

But then, with his proud personality, how could he possibly beg her?

For some reason, the thought of this made her a little lost.

...

When she pushed the door open and walked into the lab, she saw Professor Curry, who was talking to one of her students.

George was also there.

Rowson's eyes flashed as he lifted a step and walked over to him.

"Professor Curry, good morning."

At the sound of his voice, Professor Curry and the others turned their heads and saw that it was Rowson, and everyone had a slightly strange expression on their faces. It looked like contempt and disdain.

Rowson was unimpressed, a light smile lifting the corners of his mouth as he asked, "Professor Curry, can I help you?"

"No." Professor Curry declined, "Just continue with them and finish your research from yesterday."

He gestured to a couple of men who were busy not far away.

"Good."

Rowson said nothing and turned to walk away.

A hint of mischief surfaced under George's eyes as he walked towards Rowson.

Rowson grabbed his disposable gloves and put them on, put on his mask again and turned to go to the operating table.

As soon as he turned around, he almost bumped into George.

He hurriedly took two steps back, narrowed his eyebrows and glared at George unhappily, "What are you doing here?" George sneered, "Fu, are you keen to do research with my teacher?"

Rowson didn't make a sound.

George took it as his default and said sarcastically, "You don't even look at how much you weigh, what qualifications do you have to work with my teacher." Rowson smiled slightly, "Even if I'm not qualified, the level is still higher than yours, isn't it?"

George looked at Rowson with displeasure, the main reason being that he was not as good as Rowson himself.

Especially since he was also a student of Professor Curry.

"Rowson!"

George was a little annoyed at being poked and prodded.

"George, what are you doing?"

Katerina questioned, disgruntled, as she approached.

George turned his head to look at her, glared at Rowson and threw down a harsh sentence, "As long as you're here, I'll make you unhappy for a day." And then marched off.

Katerina turned her head to look at his back and snorted, "If he wasn't a student of Professor Curry's, he would have been told to get lost a long time ago." Following this, she looked over at Rowson, whose face was light and unreadable.

"I told you not to mess with George, or Professor Curry will think less of you."

Rowson ignored it and went about his business.

Katerina, who was ignored, could not stand it any longer. She pressed his busy hands and asked, "Fu, I'm talking to you, do you hear me?"

Rowson turned his head and his lips parted lightly, "So?"

"So..." Katerina hesitated briefly before releasing her hand and speaking in a sarcastic tone, "If you want to know Professor Curry's preferences, you'd better be nice to me and maybe I'll be able to tell you." Rowson's hand held the test tube and the corner of his mouth curled slightly, "I'll buy you dinner tonight."

At that, the corners of Katerina's mouth couldn't help but rise, but she held back and grunted, "You've got some sense."

Satisfied, Katerina left him alone and went back to her place.

And Rowson squeezed the test tube in his hand, a hint of determination bursting out of his eyes, this time he was going to get the Professor Curry research material no matter what.
