Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1071: The Shameless One

Eloise stared at her phone, a look of disbelief rising on her face.

Was this Earlene tearing her apart?

At first, although she knew that Earlene liked Hector, she still treated her as a friend.

But now...

"Hey."

Eloise sighed, it seemed that friends could not be friends anymore, but only love rivals in the future.

Earlene's trip to Italy was clearly aimed at Hector.

The thought of this made her sit up and take notice.

She ran upstairs and went to the study to replace Edgar.

"Eloise, what's wrong?"

Edgar asked hurriedly when he saw her running in in a panic, thinking something was wrong.

"Cousin, I'm going to Italy." Eloise settled on her feet in front of the desk and stated the reason for her visit bluntly.

"Huh?" Edgar furrowed his brow, "What are you doing in Italy?"

"I'm going to replace Hector."

Earlene had gone to Italy specifically to get close to Hector, how could she lose out as a wife?

Edgar gave a helpless smile, "Why do you suddenly want to go to Italy for no good reason?"

Eloise bit her lip, "Earlene is in Italy."

"What?" Edgar thought he had heard wrong.

"Don't be sad, cousin, she did go to Italy."

"I'm not upset, I'm just surprised."

Now that he'd said he was giving up, he wouldn't have any more thoughts about Earlene.

The mention of her now gave him peace of mind, as if he were mentioning someone who didn't matter.

Having found someone to listen to her complaints, Eloise didn't hold back in speaking outwardly, "Cousin, she knew Hector had a wife and she went to Italy to replace Hector, what the hell did she want?" She was in a bit of an emotional state.

Edgar walked around the table to her, raised his hand to her head and whispered reassuringly, "Whatever she's trying to do, it's not going to work. Because Hector is so full of you that no other woman can even look at you." "Don't you feel bad, cousin?" Eloise looked over at him in confusion.

Edgar looked bewildered, "What do I feel sorry for?"

"It hurts Earlene, she knew it wouldn't work and she did it, I don't know if it was stupid or just too confident."

Hearing her say that about Earlene, Edgar couldn't help but laugh out loud, "You seem to be really angry. You never said a word against her before, even when you knew she liked Hector."

"I'm pissed off, it really makes me feel over the top when she does that."

She actually wanted to remain friends with Earlene, but that wasn't how the other woman felt at all.

So there was no need for her to take the friendship too seriously anymore.

"She's over the top, but there's no denying that she also once genuinely considered you a friend." Edgar said.

He didn't want the two of them to really fall out.

At that, Eloise slumped her shoulders and said, "I really did treat her like a friend, and she's after my husband."

I could tell she was still feeling bad.

Edgar stroked her head, smiled and reassured her, "Come on, don't think about it. As long as you believe Hector that's all that matters."

"Of course I trust him."

Eloise sighed, "But I still want to go to Italy to replace him."

Edgar pondered for a moment, "Tell you what, I'll book you a flight in two days, think about it for a couple of days, are you sure you want to go? You should know what Hector is going to Italy for this time, so think it over." At this point Eloise's mind was in turmoil and she couldn't think that far ahead.

"Just book it, I have to go anyway."

She was adamant.

Edgar nodded, "Okay, I'll book the tickets for you."

"Thanks cousin."

From the study, Eloise went back to her room.

Her whole body flopped onto the bed, pulled out her phone and found Hector's number.

Should she call him?

After much hesitation, she didn't dial it, but turned it off and tossed it aside.

She buried her face in the bedding, so annoyed.

...

Killers finished his breakfast, picked up a wet wipe and wiped his mouth elegantly, his eyelids lifted and his eyes swept over the woman who was frequently looking this way not far away, his thin brows frowning slightly. "Hector, do you have friends staying at this hotel?" She asked the man across the room.

"No."

Killers frown tightened, "And that woman do you know?"

She gestured for him to look back.

Hector followed her line of sight and met Earlene's gaze exactly as she looked over and his handsome face instantly went cold. What was she doing here?

It was clear from the look on his face that he knew the woman.

Killers was instantly curious, "Who's that, it's not another one of your peachy ones, is it?"

There were so many women who adored him, she didn't even know how many she had seen.

Hector grimaced, "Is there any way you can help me get rid of her?"

Killers raised an eyebrow, "I'm afraid that's a bit difficult."

She looked at the woman, got up and smiled at Hector, "But I like a challenge that's hard."

With that, she strode towards the woman.

Earlene thought she had hidden it well, but she hadn't expected to be discovered.

Her heart skipped a beat when she met Hector's dark gaze.

Her red lips rose involuntarily and she raised her hand to greet him, only to see him turn his head back indifferently.

She dropped her hand in disappointment and watched as he said something to the woman across the table, who came back towards her. Killers pulled out a chair and sat across from Earlene.

"You're an admirer of Hector's?" Killers asked, opening the door.

Earlene looked down and smoothed the strands of hair from her cheeks, not responding.

Killers raised his eyebrows and curled his lips, "Do you know who he is, young lady?"

Earlene looked up and smiled, "Yes."

"Oh, know." Killers nodded, "And did you know he was my lover?"

"What?" Earlene's eyes widened in shock.

Her reaction made Killers laugh out loud, "Is there a need to be so surprised?"

"No, no, he's married, didn't you know that?" Earlene asked rhetorically.

Killers shrugged, "Who says you can't have a lover if you're married?"

"He loves his wife too much to have a lover."

"Oh." Killers realization dawned on him, "So you know he loves his wife too, so why do you still like him?"

"I ..." Earlene was gagged for a moment, not knowing what to say.

Killers laughed, "I see you're pretty too, you must have many suitors too, so don't stare at people's husbands, that's not good behaviour."

"Aren't you his lover, who are you to say anything about me?" Earlene glared at her coldly.

"If I say yes, you believe me." Killers smiled and stood up, leaning in close to her, "I'm still friends with his wife, how could I possibly be interested in my friend's husband, I'm not shameless, am I?"
