Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1075: You should know very well in your heart

I thought that Elva was a quiet girl who could not be a man or woman, but should be able to be a normal friend.

But I never expected that she would say such hard words.

Edgar's impression of her was instantly bad.

Eloise was also a bit surprised and said, "Elva, it should wash off, she didn't mean it either."

Seeing Eloise speak for the girl, Elva's face got even worse.

"It's stained, how can it possibly wash off?" She looked at Eloise with displeasure as she wiped it.

When the girl saw that the dress was indeed stained, she said, "How much is it? I'll pay you back."

"Eighteen thousand." Elva blurted out a figure indignantly.

Not only was the girl shocked, but even Eloise was surprised, "Eighteen thousand?"

"Yeah, what's wrong?" Elva looked over at Eloise, seemingly surprised that she was so surprised, "This is still the cheapest dress I have." The cheapest?

That was a lot for her to give up.

Elva stared at the girl and snorted, "Aren't you going to pay me back? Cash or transfer?"

"I ..." the girl turned red, her hands clasped together in confusion.

Eighteen thousand, she really couldn't afford to pay.

"Say it." Elva looked at her shortness of breath and the disdain on her face was even more obvious, "I think you can't afford to pay." "Can I ... I pay you back in installments?" The girl asked cautiously.

"In installments?" Elva's eyes widened in disbelief, "You're paying me back in installments for this 18, 000, how many installments are you planning to pay it back in?" The girl cautiously held out five fingers.

"Five instalments?" Elva laughed, her smile full of sarcasm, "If you're so poor, you should be more careful. I was really unlucky to run into you, too." The girl's eyes reddened at the intense sense of humiliation.

Eloise couldn't take it anymore and stood up, "Elva, she's already made her humility and said she'll pay you back, you can talk without being so harsh." "I ..." Elva was lectured by her like this, her face was a bit embarrassed, she wanted to retort but did not know how to retort.

"I'll pay you back, give me the bank account number."

Edgar, who had been silent, spoke up, and a strange feeling crossed his heart as he looked at the red-eyed girl.

"You're going to help her?" Elva turned her head and looked at him in disbelief.

Edgar didn't answer but repeated what he had just said, "Give me the account number."

Elva stared at him for a moment before saying reluctantly, "Forget it, it's my bad luck."

After saying that, she sat down and clasped her hands to her chest with a look of displeasure.

Eloise, also afraid that she would say something more embarrassing, hurriedly said to the girl, "Thank her quickly and then go and get busy."

At this, the girl bent towards Elva, "Thank you."

Elva gave her a cold glance and grunted heavily through her nose.

"Go ahead and get busy." Eloise smiled at the girl.

The girl nodded at her and glanced at Edgar before she turned and hurried away.

The atmosphere was a little awkward and stiff.

Eloise and Edgar looked at each other and smiled, "Elva, don't be angry, it's just a small matter, don't let it affect your mood."

"No, my clothes got dirty, why does it come off as if I'm being petty and targeting people on purpose?" Elva voiced her discontent.

Eloise laughed, "No that's not it, my cousin and I just think it's important to have fun, why fight with a waiter, don't you think?"

Elva laughed dryly, "Yeah, having fun is most important. But she did do something wrong, and if you let people off the hook like that, then if it's someone else in the future, will she pretend to be miserable and beg for forgiveness so she can pretend nothing happened?"

She thought they would be on her side, but she didn't expect them to help the waitress, which made her even more angry than getting her clothes dirty.

"I didn't mean it that way." Eloise put away her smile and looked at her deeply, "Elva, you should know very well in your heart why she didn't hold her coffee steady."

She couldn't have thought she was making a small gesture that no one saw.

Elva averted her eyes sheepishly, "I-I don't know what you're talking about."

"If you don't know, forget it." Eloise didn't want to make the situation more awkward, "Eat, I'm starving."

Seeing that Elva still looked angry, Edgar put a piece of half-cooked cheese on her plate, "Eat something, don't be angry."

At that, Elva turned her head and met his deep eyes. Her heart beat a little faster and her anger disappeared in a flash, she shyly stroked her hair out of her cheeks, "Thank you."

She tasted the cheese, and the taste of Sweety went down her tongue and sweetened her heart.

Eloise watched her as she ate her dessert and sighed inwardly, "Oh no, this Elva seems to have fallen for her cousin.

It took about an hour before Brimlad and Acca came over to them.

"Elva, what's wrong with your clothes?" Brimlad saw the dirty stain on Elva's chest at once.

"The waiter got it by accident." Elva explained with a smile.

Brimlad frowned, "Which waiter, how could he be so careless?"

"Aunty, people are careless, I'll just go back and wash it."

Good and kind in front of her elders, as if it wasn't her who had been aggressive with the waiter earlier.

"You're a very kind child." Brimlad was getting more and more pleased with herself the more she looked at her.

She looked over at Edgar, "Edgar, look how good and kind Elva is, you need to hang out with her more in the future." Edgar tugged at the corner of his mouth, "Yes."

I'm sure he and Eloise knew what kind of person Elva was.

Brimlad asked them to leave their contact details and kept asking Elva to visit the Khan family when she could.

It was as if Elva was already Edgar's girlfriend.

Eloise, Brimlad and Acca walked out of the restaurant first while Edgar went to the checkout.

"Are you stupid or dumb, how long have you been at work and you can still get the food wrong!"

"Manager, I'm sorry, I won't do it again."

Edgar finished the check and was about to leave just as a familiar voice came through. He turned his head to follow the voice and saw the girl bending down to the manager over and over again. Those who didn't know would have thought what a mistake had been made.

Ghostly, he walked over to her.

"What's wrong?"

A gentle, familiar voice sounded in his ears, and the girl's back stiffened, her hands unconsciously squeezing.

Seeing that it was a customer, the manager hurriedly changed his stern face and put on a full smile, explaining, "It's nothing, just that the wrong dish was served."

Edgar looked at the girl and nodded, "So it's like that, just be more careful next time then."

"Yeah, yeah."

The manager, seeing the girl still standing, hurriedly lowered his voice and scolded, "Go and get busy."

Without looking up, the girl turned around and headed for the kitchen at the back.

Edgar looked at her back, raised an eyebrow and turned to leave.
