Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1077: This is the only way

Eloise came out of the study and went back to her bedroom.

She took out her phone, as she had done the other day, and dialed out for a video call.

It was soon picked up and Hector's handsome face appeared on the phone screen.

"Hector," Eloise greeted him with a smile.

The corner of Hector's mouth turned up slightly, "What's up? You seem happy."

"Nothing, it's just that my cousin went on a blind date today."

Eloise flopped onto the bed, chin in one hand and phone in the other.

"A blind date?"

"Hmm. Daughter of a former friend of my brother-in-law's."

"And how did he agree?"

As far as Hector was concerned, Edgar was a very autonomous person who didn't like to be dictated to in either relationships or work. "It was an unknowing blind date."

Eloise couldn't help but laugh at the mention of it, "My brother-in-law really went to great lengths to get a grandchild soon."

"I asked Thomas to send Solomon and Sweety to Kyoto for a few days."

Eloise's eyes lit up when she heard that, "Great, with Solomon and Sweety here, my brother-in-law won't have the energy to set up his cousin."

Hector laughed, "If my aunt knew you thought that, she'd have to read you a lot."

Eloise raised an eyebrow, "I'm on the same side as my cousin."

Hector laughed and, with a turn of phrase, asked, "How is your health, are you unwell anywhere?"

"No." Eloise gave a helpless expression, "You've been asking that question for days on end and I'm really not at all."

"That's good that it's okay."

Hector was worried that the virus in her body would suddenly flare up if he wasn't with her, which was why he had asked her about her health every day. Eloise stared at him for a long moment, "Hector."

"Hmm?"

"Have you seen Earlene since?"

Hector frowned slightly, "No. Why?"

"No?" Eloise was a little surprised.

Hadn't Earlene made a special trip to Italy to try and replace him?

Hector looked at her amused, "Why do I feel as if you're disappointed?"

"I... I'm not disappointed in any way. I'm just wondering."

Eloise shot him an irritated look, "If you see her, make sure you tell me, okay?"

Hector raised an eyebrow, "You don't believe me?"

"No. I just want to know exactly what she wants from you."

Hector nodded, "Okay, I'll let you know."

"Hector," Eloise narrowed her eyes.

"Hmm?"

She waved her little fist and said, "Don't you be tempted by beauty. Tempted, or I won't let you get away with it."

Her seemingly joking warning made Hector laugh.

"What are you laughing at?" Eloise frowned in displeasure.

Hector curbed his smile, his dark eyes locked on her pretty face, and he said, with a particularly earnest word, "I only have you in my heart, and I don't see any other woman." "I know." Eloise's heart was sweet.

Of course she believed him, she just didn't trust Earlene too much.

A selfish man who would do who knows what to get his love.

"When things are settled on my end, I'll go back. Be a good girl and wait for me, okay?" Hector looked at her tenderly.

Eloise nodded, "Yeah, got it."

I'm sure he'll be back soon.

...

After the video call ended, Hector walked out of the bedroom and sat down on the sofa in the living room.

Ramm had been sitting working on some work on his computer and when he saw him come out, he hurriedly closed it and stood up.

"Is it arranged?" Hector looked up at him.

"Well, it's all set. Just waiting for your orders."

Hector lowered his eyes, looking thoughtful.

Ramm looked at him for a moment and asked tentatively, "Prince, are you worried that the operation will fail?"

Hector nodded, "We don't know everything within the Institute, and I'm wondering if this is too risky for you."

He didn't want them to get killed.

"Prince, we're all mentally prepared, you shouldn't worry."

"What about the Killers?"

"Good people have been arranged on Miss. Killers side too, only she told me to pass on the message that you had better think it through or there will be no going back on this operation."

Killers had always disagreed with him attacking Bergerian's institute directly, for one thing they knew nothing about it, and for another Bergerian was cunning by nature and who knew what traps might be waiting for them. Hector closed his eyes and said in a quiet voice, "I'll think about it."

Ramm thought for a moment and said, "Prince, Mr. Rowson should know a lot about the Institute, should we ask him for help?"

At that, Hector opened his eyes and turned his head to look at him, "Yes, you can, contact him again and see."

Ramm smiled back, "Okay, I'll contact him first then."

"Well, see what he says, if that's not possible, I'll go and see him myself."

"Good."

Ramm contacted Rowson and explained the situation, there was a long silence on the other side of the phone.

So long that Ramm thought the call had been hung up.

"Mr. Rowson?" he called out tentatively.

"Well, I'm in."

"How are you thinking about it?"

"I'd like to speak to Hector in person."

Ramm glanced at Hector and responded, "Okay, I'll see you tonight."

After hanging up the phone, Ramm said to Hector, "Mr. Rowson wants to talk to you in person."

Hector nodded.

...

In the evening, Hector went to the flat where Rowson was staying.

Just like last time, he dressed as an employee of the pizza shop.

He knocked out the man in black who was watching Rowson when he wasn't looking.

"That was hard."

Rowson felt somehow amused to see him in a pizza shop employee's uniform.

When had he, the chairman of the Rogers Group, ever worn this kind of clothing.

"How are you getting on?" Rowson asked, getting right to the point.

"Same as ever." Rowson poured a glass of water, walked over to him and handed it to him.

Hector took it and continued, "Did you know that Curry has worked out the drug?"

"What?" Rowson looked shocked.

"It seems you didn't know."

Rowson laughed bitterly, "I really didn't know. Because Curry wouldn't let me near his lab at all."

At first he thought that if he joined Curry's research team, he would have access to the very core of the research, but Curry was too defensive to trust him.

Hector put his cup down on the table and looked at him with a smirk, "So, I didn't expect them to give you access to core secrets."

Rowson frowned, "Are you sure you want to attack the Institute directly?"

"Hmm. That's the only way to go right now."

If there was any other way, he wouldn't have chosen such a risky way.
