Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1080: Go get Eloise

Katerina stared at him dead on, her hands clenched into fists at her side.

The atmosphere became tense, neither one letting the other get away with anything.

It was only after a long time that Rowson broke the silence, "I have my reasons for what I do, so just pretend you didn't see it."

"No." Katerina shook her head, "I will not allow you to do anything to harm the Institute."

Even less would he be allowed to take a desperate step.

She knew best how scary Bergerian was, and once he was found out, he would certainly not survive.

"Are you sure about this?" Rowson asked.

"I'm trying to save you!" Katerina suddenly became agitated, "Do you know what you're doing to yourself? Do you have to go to this extent for an Eloise? It's not worth it, it's really not worth it!"

"Shut up!" Rowson said angrily, his face tense, his warm gaze directed at her like a blade of ice, "I forbid you to say that!"

Katerina laughed, a mocking smile, "You don't want me to say it, I'm going to say it! Rowson, wake up, no matter what you do, Eloise won't be with you, she's married, er ..."

Rowson lunged at her, raising his hand around her neck and glaring at her in anger, sternly questioning, "Have you said enough?"

"Let go, let go of me!" Katerina tried to break his grip, but with the disparity in strength between men and women, she was doing nothing.

Breathing was becoming more and more difficult and she was turning white with embarrassment.

Just when she thought she was going to suffocate, Rowson let go of her and slammed her hard to the ground, looking down at her out of the corner of his eye, his tone cold and hard, "I don't want to hear Eloise's name coming out of your mouth ever again, and the next time I do, I'll kill you."

His gaze was too cold, too cold, as if he would kill her in the next moment.

Katerina couldn't help but tremble lightly as she bit her lip, her eyes slowly reddening.

Why?

Why would he go to such lengths for Eloise?

Not willingly, not willingly at all!

She would not let him have his way!

A flash of hatred flashed in her eyes, and she slowly clenched her fists, even if her nails sank into her palms, she could not feel the pain.

...

Leaving Rowson's flat, Katerina went straight to Bergerian.

Bergerian was at the clubhouse, and he was a little displeased that Katerina had come to see him so late.

He picked up his glass and asked nonchalantly, "What can I do for you?"

"I'd like to help you catch Eloise."

The way Katerina spoke made Bergerian a little surprised and his brow tightened, "How do you know about this?"

"It doesn't matter how I know, what matters is that I'm willing to get Eloise for you."

Bergerian looked down into his glass and seemed to consider her request.

Katerina, fearing he might not say yes, added, "I will get the man for you, please trust me."

"Does Rowson know about this?" Bergerian asked suddenly.

Katerina flinched, "He doesn't know."

"Good then." Bergerian nodded, "I grant your request, but I only give you a week, I must see Eloise by then." "Yes."

Katerina bowed her head respectfully, a cold smile slowly curving the corners of her mouth.

Rowson, I'd like to see how you'll save Eloise by then.

"If there's nothing else, let's go." Bergerian looked at Katerina, who was still standing, and gave the eviction order.

Katerina bent down and turned to leave.

After she had gone, a woman came out of the next room, went straight to Bergerian and sat down beside him, ran her hands up his chest and asked in a delicate voice, "Who is she?" "What, jealous?" Bergerian looked at the woman with a wry smile.

"Not at all." The woman rested her head on his shoulder, "How dare I be jealous when you're not even home with your wife and you're here with me."

Bergerian laughed and wrapped his arms around her waist, "That boring woman Lisa is no better than you."

The woman smiled delicately and snuggled into his arms.

She didn't see Bergerian put away the smile on his face and his face turned gloomy, when things worked out he was going to divorce that Lisa woman.

...

Sometimes fate is really strange, like running into the same person one after another.

On this day, Eloise thought she would go to the supermarket to buy some snacks for the two children before they arrived.

Coincidentally, she met the girl again.

The girl was standing in front of the freezer, looking carefully at each price tag.

Eloise offered to come forward and greet her, "What a coincidence, running into you again."

At the sound of her voice, the girl turned her head, and when she saw it was her, her eyes flashed with surprise, followed by a coy smile, "Hello."

Eloise smiled and also turned her eyes to the ingredients in the freezer and asked curiously, "What are you buying?"

"I want to buy some beef, but it's all a bit expensive." The girl smiled shyly.

Eloise looked at the prices, which weren't really that expensive, and she raised her eyebrows slightly, "You like it?" "No. My son likes it."

"Son?" Eloise was shocked, her eyes looking her up and down, "You're married?"

"No." The girl shook her head.

"Then..."

How could there be a son?

Eloise was too embarrassed to ask so clearly, after all, it was a private matter.

But the girl wasn't the least bit impressed and was honest, "It's my sister's baby."

"Oh." Eloise was inexplicably relieved.

"Then you buy some, the kid likes to eat, even if it's expensive." Eloise said with a smile.

The girl smiled back, "You're right."

She leaned over and took the box of beef and put it in the shopping basket, "I'm done, I'll go first."

"That's all you've bought?"

Eloise glanced at her basket, which contained only a handful of celery and a box of beef, along with some dumpling skins.

"Hmm."

It was obvious that she should be living in quite a tight spot, and Eloise was inexplicably a little distressed that she didn't look very old to be raising a child on her own. "I'll go first."

Seeing the pain in her eyes, the girl was a little embarrassed and waved her hand before hurrying towards the cashier.

Eloise watched her figure walk away before she turned to pick out the ingredients she wanted.

Suddenly, it occurred to her that she hadn't asked for the girl's name.

Perhaps it was because she had been so embarrassed herself, and the same experience had made her want to get to know this girl.

The girl was already at the checkout counter and she walked over to her and asked politely, "May I take the liberty of asking what your name is?"

"Edwina Dredge," the girl said without thinking too much and just said her name.

Eloise smiled, "My name is Eloise, I'm older than you, you can call me Miss. Eloise from now on."

"Miss. Eloise," Edwina called out good-naturedly.

"Then I'll call you Edwina, and if you need any help in the future, you can call me."

Edwina looked at the smiling Brimlad Eloise in front of her and the tip of her nose couldn't help but sink, she hurriedly turned her head sideways and blinked back the tears. She couldn't remember how long it had been since she had felt such kindness.
