Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1081: I miss mummy
In the end, the two didn't just know each other's names, they left their contact details and even made a date to take the kids out together sometime. "I'll be in touch."
Eloise waved her hand at Edwina, who was already about to walk out of the supermarket.
Edwina nodded coyly at her and then walked out of the supermarket.
Eloise looked at the number on her phone with satisfaction, and the corners of her mouth couldn't help but rise.
This time, it wouldn't be the same as Earlene, would it?
Having done her shopping, Eloise went home.
Just as she arrived home, she heard the sound of her children's laughter.
She hurriedly changed into her house slippers and walked quickly in the direction where the sound was coming from.
When she saw Solomon and Sweety, a smile of joy spread across her face and she exclaimed, "Solomon, Sweety."
At the sound of her voice, both children turned their heads at the same time.
"Mummy!"
The two little ones came running towards her with their legs pulled up in joy. She hurriedly knelt down and they jumped into her arms, hugging her tightly. "Mummy, I missed you so much." Sweety rubbed her cheeks against her neck.
Eloise had one in her arms and her heart was soft as a puddle as she closed her eyes and felt the warmth of the two little ones.
Solomon held her quietly, his wet deer-like eyes fixed on her as if she would disappear in the blink of an eye.
"Have you two been good at home?" Eloise asked softly as she opened her eyes and looked at Solomon, then at Sweety.
"Yes!" Sweety replied loudly, "I have been good at eating, good at brushing my teeth and good at sleeping."
Eloise feigned surprise, "Really, are we Sweety so great?"
"Of course." Sweety lifted her chin proudly.
Amused, Eloise lifted her hand and stroked her little head, looked to Solomon who hadn't spoken and asked, "What about Solomon?"
"I'm the same as my sister."
Although there was little expression on his face, you could tell he was expecting a compliment from her too.
"Our Solomon is great too."
Eloise stroked his head and stood up, taking one in hand as she walked to the sofa and sat down.
At that moment, Brimlad came over and looked at the two little ones with a smile, "They were clamouring for you as soon as they arrived, and it took me a long time to coax them to stop." "Is it true what Grandma and Uncle said?" Eloise looked at the two little ones.
Sweety spat out her tongue, a little embarrassed, "I missed Mummy, that's why I was clamouring for Mummy."
Eloise stroked her head and smiled, "Don't be like that again."
"Okay." Sweety answered obediently.
Eloise looked around, "Where's Thomas?"
She looked to Brimlad.
"He brought the baby and left, said something came up at work and he had to go back to deal with it."
"Oh." Eloise nodded, "Hard for him too. he's definitely busier with Hector out of town."
There was no way Hector would have been able to go to Italy without the peace of mind of having such a responsible assistant in Thomas.
In the evening, Edgar came home and was pleasantly surprised to see the two little ones.
And the two little ones were just as happy to see him.
"Uncle Junior." Sweety ran over towards him.
"Sweety," Edgar said as he picked her up in a hug and the two touched foreheads affectionately.
"You're handsome again, little uncle." Sweety said in a milky voice.
This made everyone in the room laugh.
"Sweety, who taught you to say that?" Eloise asked curiously.
It had only been a short while and her mouth had become sweeter.
"I saw it on TV." Sweety answered truthfully.
Eloise frowned, "Is your little aunt watching idol dramas again?"
"Hmm." Sweety nodded her head vigorously, "Little uncle said that little aunt has seen it go off the rails." Everyone couldn't help but laugh out loud again.
"Sweety, kids can't watch it." Edgar said.
"Then I won't watch it again."
Edgar smiled and pinched her nose, "Sweety, that's a good girl."
Then he looked at Solomon, "Solomon, have you put together the model plane I gave you last time?"
Solomon's eyes lit up at the mention of something he was interested in and he nodded, "Yes, I did."
"Did you put it together yourself?" Edgar asked.
"Well, put it together myself."
Solomon and his father, Hector, look like they were made from the same mould, even that confident expression.
"So good, then I have several other model planes and cars, can you help me put them together?" Edgar raised an eyebrow at him. "Can." Solomon almost blurted out.
Edgar laughed, "Excellent."
Brimlad didn't like that, "Edgar, if you like those models, forget it, Solomon's a kid, this is the time to play, not put together boring models." "Mum." Edgar gave a helpless expression, "Letting him put together models is good for his hands and thinking skills."
"How can he sit through something so boring for a child."
Brimlad didn't believe that a child this young could sit and put together models for hours, not even adults could necessarily do that.
"Auntie, Solomon is enjoying himself, it's none of his cousin's business." Eloise explained with a smile as she stroked Solomon's head.
"Is that so?" Brimlad was a little surprised.
"He's been into planes and cars and stuff since he was a kid and has the same personality as his dad who likes to be quiet, so you don't have to worry about him getting bored." Brimlad nodded, "That's good. It's better for the boy to get out and run around more though."
"He knows how to combine work and play on his own, don't worry about it."
Sometimes Eloise thinks that Solomon is like an adult, really knows his stuff and knows exactly what he has to do.
Perhaps Hector had been like that as a child.
"Well, let's eat." Edgar changed the subject.
Sweety, who was being held in his hands, touched her tummy, her tender little face scrunched up into a frown, deflated her mouth and said pitifully, "I'm hungry."
"If you're hungry, let's go and eat." Brimlad smiled as he scooped her up and took the lead towards the dining room.
Eloise walked over to Edgar with Solomon in her hand and whispered, "I met that girl again today."
Edgar couldn't help but lose his smile, "Such a coincidence?"
"I thought it was a coincidence too." Eloise thought about it, "No, I think it's quite a coincidence. And I don't know why I like her so much."
Hearing this, Edgar raised an eyebrow, "You wouldn't have left someone's contact details, would you?"
"How do you know?" Eloise's eyes widened in surprise.
"I don't know," Edgar laughed, "If you like her, surely you'd want to be friends with her."
"Indeed." Eloise nodded her head in agreement with his words.
"What's her name?" Edgar asked in a seemingly careless manner. "Edwina."
Edgar's brow twitched slightly at Edwina.
A soft voice seemed to ring in his ears, "Hello, I am the chauffeur you called, Edwina."
