Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1093: You're going to die!
With Katerina's help, Rowson managed to leave the flat.
He drove to Bergerian's private villa, driving so fast on the way that he ran several red lights and even brought the traffic police to his attention. "Stop! The black car in front of you, you hear me, stop! Stop the car!"
"Shit!"
Rowson glanced in his rear view mirror and noticed the traffic cop in hot pursuit.
Throttling down, he tried to throw the traffic cop off.
Who knew that a traffic cop was also coming up on him in a car not far ahead.
He was caught in front and behind.
He could only pull over and sat in the car waiting for the traffic police to come.
"Knock, knock!"
The traffic policeman came over and knocked on the window of the car.
The window slowly came down and the traffic cop looked down at Rowson and said sternly, "You ran three red lights and were driving too fast. Rowson sneered, "I haven't been drinking."
When he didn't get out of the car, the police officer slapped the roof of the car and his voice hardened, "Get out of the car! Come on!"
Rowson had to get out of the car.
The police officer put the breathalyzer to his mouth, "Blow."
Despite his reluctance, Rowson blew.
The traffic cop looked at the display on the device and raised his eyebrows, "No alcohol?"
"I told you, I haven't been drinking." Rowson's face showed impatience.
"Just because you haven't been drinking doesn't mean you haven't had other circumstances, such as taking medication." As the traffic cop lowered his head to write the ticket, he continued, "You need to go to the hospital for a check-up to make sure nothing else is going on before you can go."
"I told you I'm fine!" Rowson was furious; he didn't have time to go to the hospital for any tests.
But the traffic cop insisted that he go.
He had no choice but to push the traffic cop out of the way, open the door and get into the car.
At that moment several traffic policemen came around and took him under control.
"Let me go! Let me go!" He struggled hard.
As Thomas drove by, he turned his head and casually looked, thinking it was an ordinary arrest for drink driving.
Who knew that this glance would lead him to see someone he knew.
He hurriedly slammed on the brakes.
The tyres made an ear-splitting sound against the ground.
The car stopped and Thomas hurriedly got out and ran over.
"Rowson!"
At the sound, Rowson turned his head to follow the voice, and his eyes flashed with surprise at the sight of Thomas. Thanks to Thomas' manoeuvring, Rowson only paid the fine and didn't have to go to the hospital for any tests.
"Watch it next time!" The traffic cop gave Rowson a warning look.
Thomas smiled and said, "He'll be careful next time. Thanks for your hard work."
After the traffic cop left, Rowson thanked Thomas and turned around to get into his car.
"Wait." Thomas squeezed his shoulder.
Rowson turned around.
"Do you know where my prince and Miss Eloise are?" Thomas asked.
He had almost turned the entire island of Sicily upside down, but there was no sign of the prince or Miss Eloise. Rowson was silent for a moment before speaking, "I know where Eloise is, but Hector, I don't."
Thomas' face lit up with joy, "Then tell me where Miss Eloise is?"
"She's at the Bergerian's private villa."
"In Sicily?"
"No." Rowson denied, and then said the name of a place.
Thomas laughed, "So that's where it is, no wonder I can't replace them here no matter how much I check and look."
He glanced at Rowson's car, "You're not in such a hurry to replace my Miss Eloise, are you?"
Rowson nodded.
"Just you?" Thomas Edwina frowned.
Since Bergerian had hidden someone in his private villa, he must have taken adequate security measures, and he was not afraid of his life if he went there alone? Rowson didn't deny it.
"You're too impulsive." Thomas said, "If you go like that, you won't save anyone instead, and you'll get yourself killed."
He thought for a moment and continued, "You come with me and we'll all talk about how to save people."
"No need, I'll be fine on my own."
Rowson said and got straight into the car, not giving Thomas a chance to persuade him.
Seeing this, Thomas rushed to the front of the car and stopped him in his tracks.
"Thomas, are you crazy?" Rowson poked his head out and questioned in a stern voice.
"Rowson, as much as I'm ashamed of what you did to Miss Eloise, I can't just stand by and watch you go and get yourself killed. I don't think Miss Eloise would want to see you go to your death for her either."
At those words, Rowson subconsciously squeezed the steering wheel tightly, a handsome face tightening.
Thomas saw that he did not start the car, and hurriedly urged him again, "Rowson, I know you are anxious to save Miss Eloise, but you can't do it alone. Why don't you come with us? There is strength in numbers and we can definitely get her out."
Seeing that Thomas had gone out of his way to stand in front of the car in order to persuade himself, Rowson compromised.
"Okay."
He agreed.
Thomas was relieved, "Then you come with me."
...
"Thomas, you're finally back."
Ramm saw Thomas walk in and rushed to greet him, when he spotted Rowson who had followed Thomas in.
His brow furrowed, "What brings you here?"
"I asked him to follow me." Thomas explained as he walked inside.
"No, you ..." Ramm glanced at the expressionless Rowson and walked quickly to Thomas, lowering his voice, "You let him follow, in case the Bergerian replaces out, we're all in danger."
Although he had deliberately lowered his voice, Rowson still heard him.
"Don't worry, the Bergerian's men aren't following me." Rowson said.
Ramm turned and looked at him, "How do you know they didn't follow you?"
"Because they're all locked up in my flat."
Thomas raised an eyebrow at Ramm, "Don't worry, he's on the same side as us now."
He looked around and, with a turn of phrase, asked, "I thought I said Mr Edgar was in Italy, why haven't I seen him?"
"He's on the balcony talking on the phone." Ramm pointed in the direction of the balcony.
Thomas and Rowson looked at each other and told Ramm where Eloise was now
Edgar came in from the balcony just in time to hear this and walked over quickly, "What do you mean, Eloise they're not in Sicily?"
"No." Rowson said, "After the Bergerian got the men, I think they changed places for fear we'd replace them."
Edgar frowned, "And how do you know that the information is accurate?"
He was afraid that if the information was not accurate, then everyone would have worked for nothing and delayed the rescue.
Rowson nodded, "It's accurate. That's what I was told by someone close to Bergerian."
"So do we take the men to rescue the prince and the others now?" Ramm asked.
Thomas pondered for a moment, "With Bergerian's nature, security must be tight. If we go to rescue them like this without investigating, I'm afraid we'll all be killed."
"So what's to be done?" Ramm was worried, "We can't delay any longer, I'm afraid Miss Eloise won't be able to wait long."
At this point, Rowson spoke up, "Thomas and I will go and see what's going on first, we'll plan it out then."
His suggestion was immediately echoed by Thomas, "Let's do it, we'll both take the men there first."
"You guys be careful then." Edgar instructed.
Thomas smiled, "Mr Edgar, don't worry. I was trained by the prince, I'll be fine."
