Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1140: Concerned

With both little ones out of the picture, Eloise took it easy.

She spent the morning reading in her study, and it was only when the housekeeper came up to call her for lunch that she realised it was noon.

After lunch, she decided to go to her room for her lunch break.

No sooner had she entered her room than her phone rang.

It was an unfamiliar number.

As soon as she picked it up, an urgent voice came through, "Is this Solomon, Sweety's mother?"

Eloise couldn't help but tense up, "Yes, what's wrong?"

"They've both been in a car accident ..."

As soon as Eloise heard that, the blood faded from her face instantly, only to hear the address given over there, she couldn't think much about it and ran out the door. The housekeeper saw her running downstairs in a panic and hurriedly asked, "Miss. Eloise, what's happened?"

But Eloise didn't have time to answer him, she ran out like mad, started the car and headed straight for the address she had called.

As her car pulled out of the villa, the black car parked on the side of the road immediately followed her.

Eloise's mind was in turmoil, her heart was beating so fast that her hands were shaking in Edwina as she gripped the steering wheel.

Solomon and Sweety, it must be all right!

After running two red lights in a row, Eloise finally arrived at the scene of the accident and as soon as the car stopped, she immediately opened the door and got out. But strangely enough, there was no one there, not to mention the accident.

What the hell was going on here?

Eloise looked around, her mind going blank, and then she thought of calling the person who had informed her.

She did, but there was no answer.

Then she realised she might have been tricked.

She couldn't go out during this time, so someone had used Solomon and Sweety to trick her into going out.

With this in mind, Eloise pulled herself up and ran towards a car parked a short distance away.

At that moment, a black car drove straight towards her, driving very fast.

Eloise froze in fear and forgot to run for a moment.

"Eloise, look out."

With a shriek and a whirlwind, Eloise was carried and rolled into the grass at the side of the road. "Shit!"

Seeing that he couldn't hit anyone, Carl slapped the steering wheel heavily, spun, and took off. "Ouch!"

Eloise felt a searing pain in her arm like it was on fire.

"Eloise, are you all right?"

A familiar voice.

Eloise turned her head to meet a pair of worried eyes and surprise crept onto her face, "Mr. Rowson."

Yes, it was Rowson who had rushed out to save her.

He had gone straight to the Khan family villa as soon as he returned home and had been keeping watch outside, and when the black car appeared, he was on alert. As it turned out, the car was coming for Eloise.

If he hadn't appeared in time, Eloise would have been hit.

Thinking about the scene just now, Rowson's heart palpitated.

"Mr. Rowson, why are you ...!" Eloise propped her hand on the ground to sit up when a sudden pain in her arm made her cry out in pain.

"What's wrong?" Rowson tensed as he saw her face go white and reached out to check her arm.

But before his hand could touch it, he first saw that her arm was scraped and bloody with some sand and hay still stuck to it, and it looked a little scary.

He instantly blamed himself, "It's my fault, if I'd been more careful you wouldn't have been hurt."

Eloise fought back the pain and tried to squeeze out a smile to soothe him, "Mr. Rowson, I'm fine, I just scraped the skin."

With that, she tried to lift her hand, only to replace that it hurt so much when she moved.

She laughed dryly, "The hand... seems to be broken."

It was obviously painful, but she tried to smile for fear that he would blame himself.

Rowson blamed himself even more and he picked her up by the waist, "I'll take you to the hospital."

...

Edgar received the call and ran straight out of the conference room, not bothering to get halfway through the meeting.

"Mom, are you home yet?"

On the way to the hospital, he called Brimlad.

"Not yet, what's wrong?"

"Something's happened to Eloise, she's in hospital now."

"What? Eloise is in the hospital. Okay, I'm coming over now."

Brimlad hung up the phone and rushed to pack his things.

Edwina came out of the bathroom with the children and saw Brimlad collecting his things, so she asked, "Auntie, are you going back?"

"Something's happened to Eloise, I have to go and see." Brimlad returned without looking up.

Edwina's face changed, "Something's happened to Miss Eloise? Auntie, can I come with you?"

At that, Brimlad looked up at her and nodded, "Yes, come along."

"Thank you, Auntie."

They packed up their things and took the baby with them to the hospital.

Upon examination, Eloise's hand was dislocated, not broken.

"It hurts a bit, just bear with it."

Even though the doctor who had repositioned her hand had warned her beforehand, she couldn't help but scream out in pain, even as tears spilled out of her eyes. The doctor fixed her arm with a cast and admonished, "Rest a lot and try not to move your hand until your arm has fully recovered."

"Doctor, about how long will it take to recover?" Rowson asked.

"About two weeks, so remember to come in for a review."

"Thank you doctor." Eloise smiled at the doctor and looked down at her arm, a helpless, bitter smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.

She was really useless, every time she didn't want to cause trouble for her brother-in-law and the others, but something had happened anyway.

Brimlad rushed into the emergency room, catching a glimpse of Eloise and rushing forward, "Eloise, are you alright?"

"Auntie, what are you doing here?" Eloise looked at her in confusion.

Then she saw Edwina walk in with the baby.

"What are you all doing here?" She was both surprised and puzzled.

"I was the one who called to tell my mother."

Edgar walked in and was surprised to see Rowson, "When did you get back home?"

"In the last couple of days." Rowson said back blandly.

Edgar instantly understood why he was back home and didn't ask any more questions.

He looked over at Eloise, noticing the cast on her hand, and furrowed his brow, "What's going on here? How did you get hurt?"

"Yeah, Miss. Eloise, what the hell is going on?" Edwina asked out loud as well.

"Actually ..." Eloise looked at Solomon and Sweety with an embarrassed smile, "I got a call that something had happened to Solomon and Sweety, then I went out I got a call that something had happened to Solomon and Sweety, and I went out, and who knew that I wouldn't see Solomon and Sweety when I got to the place.

That's when I knew I might have been tricked, and when I was about to get into the car, there was a car rushing towards me, luckily Mr. Rowson saved me in time, otherwise ..."

Eloise is still a little scared when she thinks of the image of the car coming at her.

"Eloise, you've always been smart, how could you have been tricked?" Brimlad couldn't really figure it out.

Edwina looked at Eloise and explained for her, "Auntie, concern is the key to success, Miss.

"That I know." Brimlad gave her a look with some obvious displeasure in his eyes, "I mean she didn't even call and ask me first, she just ran off to where people said she was going, without any vigilance at all."
