Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1160: Early Due Date
The day passed peacefully for two days, Eloise was at home with the baby and at the hospital with her mother. That day, she received a call from Rupert out of the blue.
"Sister-in-law, Aisly is having a baby."
"Going into labour?" Eloise stood up in shock as Brimlad, who was looking aside, looked up at her.
"It's not due yet, is it?" She asked, puzzled, as she calculated the due date.
"It's early. Sister-in-law, are you coming back?"
"Of course I have to. I'm going back now."
After hanging up the phone, Eloise turned to Brimlad and said, "Aunt-in-law, Aisly is in labour and I have to go back to City J."
"Do you want me to go back with you?" Brimlad asked.
"No, I'll ask Thomas to go back with me."
Eloise went upstairs to pack her things and after they were put away, she called Thomas and told him the situation and told him to go home.
That afternoon, Eloise took the two children back to City J with her.
The news reached Lisa's ears and she couldn't help but smile, "It seems God is on my side."
"Ma'am, what are you going to do?" Carl asked.
Lisa looked up at him, "Carl, how long have you been with me?"
"Three years."
"It seems you've been with me quite a while, I trust you, what about you? Can I be trusted?"
Carl bowed his head, "Don't worry ma'am, I won't let you down."
Lisa smiled, "Okay then, you're going to accompany me to City J. No one must know about this, do you understand?"
"Understood."
"Then let's go."
Lisa got up and took the lead towards the door, her face in delicate make-up not able to hide her ruthlessness, she would not let Eloise off the hook this time.
...
When she arrived at City J, Eloise went straight to the hospital.
Aisly's stomach had been hurting all night, but not intensely, and the doctor told her to walk around more and wait for her opening before going into the delivery room. Rupert helped her walk around outside the ward, and every now and then Aisly could be heard cursing him.
"I blame you, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have to suffer this pain."
A wave of pain hit her and Aisly almost cried as she clutched Rupert's hand in pain.
Eloise rushed to the hospital to see Aisly bending over to endure the pain and she rushed over to her, holding her up.
"Aisly, how is it?"
Hearing the familiar voice, Aisly turned her head and tried to squeeze out a smile, "Sister-in-law, you're here."
Eloise lifted her hand to wipe the sweat from her forehead and furrowed her brow, "Why aren't you in bed if you're in so much pain?"
"The doctor said to move around more, it's easier when you're in labour." Rupert explained.
"That won't work either, how can she walk around more when she's in so much pain. Go back to the ward and lie down."
Eloise helped the person back to the ward, where Hector's parents were also present.
They were surprised to see Eloise, "Eloise, you're here."
Eloise smiled at them, "Mom and Dad, Rupert called me and I came right over."
"Good to be back, good to be back." Hector's mother looked at her with great relief.
Eloise helped Aisly to lie down on the bed and said warmly, "Don't be nervous, the doctor will give you a painless injection later, it won't hurt anymore." "Sister-in-law, did it hurt this much when you had the baby?" Aisly asked.
Eloise reached up and pushed the strands of hair that were clinging to her cheeks away, "Yes, of course it hurts. Who doesn't hurt when they have a baby." "I won't have one after this. It hurts too much."
At that, Aisly grimaced again, grimacing in pain.
Eloise took her hand and whispered reassuringly, "Just relax and it won't hurt as much."
Hector's mother chimed in, "Yeah, don't be nervous, we're all here, it'll be fine."
Soon Aisly was taken into the delivery room and Rupert followed her in.
Eloise and Hector's parents were waiting outside.
"Eloise, how's your health these days?" Hector's father asked with concern.
Eloise returned a smile, "Dad, I'm fine, you don't have to worry."
Hector's father nodded, "That's good. Your mother and I were talking about making a trip to Kyoto sometime, but who knew Aisly was early for her due date." "You guys can go over there later when you get a chance."
"Did Solomon and Sweety come back together?" Hector's mother asked.
She was feeling uncomfortable with the house being too quiet without the two little ones at home.
"Yes, I asked Thomas to take them home first."
Hector's mother smiled, "That's good."
Eloise raised an eyebrow, "But, Mum, I'm afraid you won't have time to look after them both with this Aisly birth?"
"That's true." Hector's mother glanced at Hector's father and continued, "But don't worry, your father is still here, isn't he? And there's an aunt at home who can still take care of it." "I mainly don't want you two to work too hard."
Now that Hector hadn't been found, her mind wasn't on the baby at all, so she had to bother them about taking care of it.
"It's not hard, how could it be?" Hector's mother patted her hand, "Isn't that why your father retired so early, to enjoy the pleasures of heaven? So it wasn't hard work at all." "Yeah, Eloise, now that Solomon and Sweety are getting it, it's honestly a breeze to look after them both."
"Anyway, it's been hard on you two."
"Well, let's not talk about that as a family." Hector's mother looked worriedly towards the delivery room, "And I wonder how Aisly is doing now?"
"It's all going to be flat Bonnie." Eloise reassured as she took her hand in hers.
After about two hours or so, the door to the delivery room opened and the nurse came out with the baby in her arms and they rushed to meet him. "It's a boy, both the baby and the adult are safe."
The nurse held the baby to Hector's mother, who was overjoyed and said, "Thank you, thank you."
"The adult will need to be observed for a while and will be returned to the ward later, so you can take the baby back to the ward first."
"Thank you." Eloise smiled at the nurse as Hector's parents said, "Mum and Dad, you take the baby back to the ward, I'll wait here for Aisly and the others." "That's fine, you be careful on your own."
Hector's mother's admonition made Eloise stifle a laugh, "Mum, this is a hospital, don't worry about me."
"Okay, we're going back to the ward then."
Eloise watched them enter the lift before withdrawing her eyes and looking towards the closed doors of the delivery room once again.
A new addition to the Rogers family, such a happy moment, and Hector wasn't there.
Eloise's nose tingled at the thought of it and she squeezed the inner corners of her eyes to force back the tears.
She couldn't cry, or her parents would see her and worry again.
But she really missed Hector, and the more she thought about him, the more she missed him at a time like this.
Rupert came out of the delivery room, saw Eloise sitting on the bench with her head bowed and went over to her, asking with concern, "Sister-in-law, what's wrong?" Eloise hurriedly lifted her hand to wipe her tears, lifted her head and raised her lips in a smile, "Nothing."
She looked behind him, "Hasn't Aisly come out yet?"
