Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1247: Daddy, I'm Sweety!

"Whoever I like, it's none of your business."

Edgar pointed in the direction of the door and gave the eviction order, "I'm too busy to entertain you, please leave!"

"Edgar!" Elva stomped her foot in anger and stared at him reluctantly.

Seeing her unwillingness to leave, Edgar pressed the intercom, "Ivor, send Miss. Elva away!"

He didn't even give her a second thought!

Elva was furious and pointed at his nose, "Edgar, do you really think I'd marry anyone but you? Do you know how many people are after me?" Edgar laughed, "In that case, then Miss. Elva hurry up and choose someone else before you get so angry."

"You!" Elva was too angry to say anything.

At that moment, Ivor opened the door and came in, he noticed that the atmosphere was not right and spoke cautiously, "President ..." "Send Miss. Elva away."

After saying this, Edgar raised his eyes to look at him and ordered.

"Yes."

Ivor walked to Elva's side, smiled and made a gesture of "please", "Miss Elva, this way please."

"Edgar, you'll regret this!"

With these words, Elva left in a huff.

Ivor breathed a sigh of relief and hurriedly followed her out.

The moment the door closed, Edgar tugged at his tie, leaned back in his chair and sighed helplessly.

It seemed he would have to settle the marriage sooner rather than later, the longer it went on the more trouble it would cause. It was not good for Edwina either.

Thinking of Edwina, he curled his lips, reached for his mobile phone on the table, found her number and dialled.

Soon, the phone picked up.

A soft voice came through the receiver, "Edgar."

Hearing her voice made Edgar feel lighter, and even the smile on his lips deepened a little.

"What's up?" He asked softly.

"Just tidying up my room."

Edwina took her phone to the living room sofa and sat down, a sweet smile spreading across her small, clear face.

"Do you have time tonight?" Edgar asked again.

"Yes. What? Do you want to ask me out?"

"We're boyfriend and girlfriend, isn't it normal for me to ask you out?" Edgar smiled and asked back.

"And what if I don't say yes?"

"Then forget it."

Edgar made a move to hang up the phone, only to hear Edwina's anxious voice on the other side, "No sense of humour, I was just joking." Edgar laughed out loud, "I'll pick you up then."

"Yeah."

The two of them chatted briefly for a few more minutes before Edwina hung up the phone reluctantly.

Clutching the phone to her chest with both hands, she couldn't help but laugh out loud.

It really felt like a dream, she was about to give up on this unrequited relationship, but to her surprise, they were together.

It was their first date and she had to look good.

Thinking of this, she hurriedly got up and ran into her room, took out all the dresses from the cupboard, laid them out on the bed one by one and carefully selected them.

...

Eloise hadn't come to the door again for the last few days and Earlene thought she was going to give up, but to her surprise Rupert had come.

And he'd brought both children with him.

"Miss Earlene, I want to see my brother." Rupert opened the door.

Earlene looked at the two children beside him and snorted coldly, "Is this your plan to use the two children to make Hector remember the past?" Rupert, Edwina gave a smile, "Miss Earlene is very clever."

"In that case, do you think I will let you see Hector?" The sneer on Earlene's brow intensified.

Rupert ignored her words and instantly raised his voice and shouted, "Hector, I know you're upstairs, get down here!"

At that, Earlene's face changed and she snapped, "Rupert, what are you doing?"

"I'm telling my brother to come down." Rupert looked at her with an innocent expression.

"He's not here!" Earlene clenched her palms, "He went out early this morning."

"Hasn't he lost his memory. How do you feel comfortable letting him go out alone?" Rupert saw through her clumsy lie at once.

Earlene's eyes flickered, "I ... did have someone stay with him."

As soon as the words were out of her mouth, a voice came from upstairs, "Who's calling me?"

Earlene's pupils narrowed and she turned her head sharply, only to see Hector walking to the stairway, looking downstairs with a puzzled expression. Rupert's face lit up with joy and he hurriedly shouted, "Brother, it's me, Rupert."

Hector looked at the voice and a face full of delight fell into his eyes and his eyebrows twitched slightly, it was him.

"Hector, you go to your room, I'm here." Earlene hurried over to him, stopping him from coming downstairs.

She was afraid that if he saw the two children, he would really remember the old days.

Hector smiled gently, "Isn't he here to see me?"

He took in all of Earlene's panic and took her hand, gently reassuring her, "Don't worry, it's okay."

With those words, he pulled her towards Rupert.

During that time, he saw the two children.

Before he could see their faces, he heard them shout "Daddy" and run towards him, each hugging one of his legs.

He stopped short and looked down, bewildered, at the two children.

They were calling themselves... daddy?

What was going on here?

"Daddy, Sweety misses you so much, why don't you even come home?" Sweety tilted her childish little face, her big beautiful eyes staring straight at him. "Daddy, we're here to take you home today." Solomon said.

"I ..." Hector was lost for words for a moment, not knowing what to say.

"Hector."

"Brother."

Rupert and Earlene spoke at the same time, they looked at each other and Earlene spoke in an anxious tone, "Hector, listen to me, they've come to irritate you on purpose, you don't have any children, nothing at all, all you have is me." At that, Rupert burst out laughing with a sarcastic smile, "Miss Earlene, doesn't your conscience hurt when you say things like that?"

Earlene turned her head to glare at him, "Rupert, don't think that just because you've brought two children here that Hector will remember what happened before, it's simply not going to happen, just give up on that."

"Is that so?" Rupert raised an eyebrow and said without panic, "I'd like to see who dies of that."

With that, he looked over at Hector.

He just couldn't believe that two children wouldn't have any effect on their current big brother.

"Daddy, do you miss me and my brother?" Sweety's voice was soft and sticky as she hugged Hector's leg and wiggled it.

"Little friend, I ..."

When Hector spoke, Sweety cried out, "Daddy, I'm not a kid, I'm Sweety ..."

When she cried, Hector panicked and reached out to hug her, but hesitated.

"Daddy, you are too much, don't you know Sweety anymore..." Sweety cried so hard.
