Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1260: I just want to marry him
Suddenly, a muffled sound came from behind itself.
Frightened, Elva's parents hurriedly turned around, and the two of them instantly turned pale.
They only saw Elva fall to the ground, motionless.
"Elva!"
Elva's parents exclaimed and rushed over.
Elva's eyes were tightly closed and there was no blood on her face at all.
"Quick, call a doctor!" Elva's father ordered the housekeeper, who had arrived at the sound of her voice, anxiously.
The housekeeper answered "yes" and turned to call the doctor.
With the help of the maids, Elva was helped to lie down on the bed.
Elva's mother held her cold hand as tears fell from her eyes, "Elva, don't let anything happen to you, or else what will happen to Mum?" "It's going to be okay." Elva's father put his hand on her shoulder and said soothingly.
Edwina's trembling fingertips gave away his fear at the moment.
Edwards returned home and when he heard from the housekeeper that Elva had fainted, he immediately asked, "How did this happen?" "Mademoiselle hadn't eaten all day yesterday and has just fainted."
"It's not because of that prince of the Khan family, Miss saw the scandalous news about him and was so angry that she refused to eat all day." When the housekeeper said that, Edwards remembered that he had also seen the news.
But he took it for what it was, a gossip, not a real one.
Because he knew who Edgar really liked.
Elva had been so angry just because she had seen the fake gossip that she hadn't eaten, and if she knew that Edgar and Edwina were together, there would be a fuss. Thinking about it, Edwards' mood became heavy.
"Did you call the doctor?" He asked.
"Yes, it's on its way over."
Edwards nodded, "All right then, you get the kitchen to prepare some porridge for the young lady to drink when she wakes up."
With that, he ran upstairs.
Walking up to the door of Elva's room, he could hear a cry coming from inside.
It was his mother.
Edwards was on his feet, looking grave, and suddenly a wave of guilt washed over him.
He had already hurt his parents and Elva in no small way by helping Edwina hide the fact that she was in love with Edgar.
So... should he tell them the truth?
Just as he was hesitating, Elva's father spotted him.
"Edwards."
Hearing the voice, Edwards quickly collected all his thoughts and walked in quickly to see how Elva was doing, "Mum and Dad, what the hell is going on here?" "It's not Edgar!"
Elva's mother was furious at the mention of Edgar.
They loved Elva so much.
They were so fond of Elva that they couldn't let her melt in their mouths or drop her in their hands.
This is the baby they love so much.
But Edgar didn't know how to cherish her and didn't even care about her.
This made Elva's mother so angry that she wanted to go to the Khan family right now and confront them about it.
Seeing his mother's anger, Edwards knew she couldn't say anything, so he looked to Elva's father, "Dad, why is Mum so angry?"
Elva's father looked at Elva on the bed and said, "Elva has been on an angry hunger strike all day because of the scandal between Edgar and Earlene ..."
Here he paused, his eyebrows locked, "And just now I heard me say that Edgar doesn't acknowledge the union."
It didn't surprise Edwards at all to hear that.
Now that Edgar was with Edwina, how could he possibly agree to a marriage between the Khan family and the Boone family?
He moved his lips to tell his parents about it, but swallowed the words as they came to his lips.
If he told them today, there would be no peace in Edwina and Bonnie's lives.
Bonnie's innocent face flashed in his mind, and he couldn't bear to ruin their peaceful life.
"Dad, Mum, do you really think Edgar and Elva are right for each other?" Edwards asked.
Elva's father frowned, "Don't you think they are?"
"Edwards, what do you mean by that question?" Elva's mother turned her head to glare at him suspiciously.
With a sigh of relief, she said, "Elva is my sister, and I really don't want to see her suffer like this. If Edgar doesn't care, why do we have to force it. elva deserves better." "No... I want Edgar."
A weak voice sounded in the room.
It was Elva, she was awake.
Elva's mother was crying once again, wiping her tears as she complained, "You child, you're scaring me to death."
"Mum, I'm sorry to have worried you."
Elva didn't know how she had fainted, maybe she was hungry, or maybe she was irritated.
But thankfully she woke up.
Elva's father sighed in relief and looked at her heartily, "Silly child, you know we were worried too, so why don't you be a good girl and eat?"
"I'm sorry, Dad."
"There, don't be sorry." Elva's mother patted her hand, "You've suffered, mum and dad will get it back for you."
ElvaEdwina smiled, "Mum, thank you."
"Silly child." Elva's mother took her hand in hers.
"Elva, do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?" Edwards asked with concern.
"No." Elva licked her somewhat dry lips and continued, "Brother, Edgar will like me."
No way.
It really couldn't be.
Edwards wanted to say that, but couldn't open his mouth at the look of certainty on his sister's face.
"Elva, listen to me and give up, okay?" He tried to persuade.
"No!" Elva shook her head vigorously.
A wave of dizziness hit her and she cringed in discomfort.
Frightened, Elva's mother hurriedly asked, "Elva, what's wrong with you?"
"Dizzy." Elva lifted her hand to rest on her forehead, her brow locked in a frown, looking uncomfortable. "Where's the doctor? Why isn't the doctor here yet?" Elva's mother shouted in agitation.
At that moment, the butler hurried in with the doctor.
"Madam, the doctor is here."
After the doctor's examination, Elva had fainted because of low blood sugar caused by not eating all day.
"There is nothing serious wrong with the person, but he must eat something or his body will not be able to carry him if he continues."
At the sound of a bang, Elva's mother nodded her head, "Yes, I'll prepare it now."
After Elva's mother had left, the doctor gave a few more instructions before leaving.
Elva's father also went downstairs to see how Elva's mother was getting ready, leaving Elva and Edwards alone in the room.
Edwards walked over to the bed and looked down at Elva's pale face, distressed.
"Elva, what's wrong with Edgar? Is it worth you suffering like this for him?"
Elva was silent for a while before she spoke slowly, "He's good everywhere, I just like him, I just want to marry him."
It was surprising to see her sister, who had always been so willful, become obsessed with love.
Edwards didn't know whether to tell her the truth and tell her to give up, or to support her in her obsession.
