Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1285: You can't take that kind of risk

As the date of Hector and Earlene's wedding drew nearer, Eloise became more and more restless. She doesn't know what it will take to actually stop the wedding and just feels her mind in turmoil.

Brimlad senses her unease and as he brings fruit to her room, he asks with concern, "Eloise, are you all right?"

"I'm fine." Eloise smiled softly, but anyone who knew her well knew that she was forcing herself to smile.

Brimlad sighed, "Eloise, don't keep everything bottled up inside you, just tell me and your uncle if there's anything we can talk about." Eloise didn't make a sound.

"Are you worried about the wedding?"

She doesn't speak up, so Brimlad has to ask.

Eloise nodded, "Yeah. I don't know what to do."

Seeing as this wedding was about to take place and Hector hadn't regained his memory, Brimlad could understand her fear and unease.

He walked over to her, took her hand in his and said softly, "The ship will come to a head. Don't be alone with your thoughts, your uncle and I and Edgar will help figure it out."

Eloise nodded her head, knowing that she knew.

Brimlad went downstairs, found Baggott, who was busy in the backyard, and told him about Eloise's situation.

Baggott stopped what he was doing and his brow locked, "I've actually been thinking about this for the past two days. If we don't stop the wedding in time for Hector and Earlene to get married, then things will be very problematic." "Of course I know about the trouble, I came to ask what you were going to do." Brimlad sounded a little anxious.

"What's your hurry?" Baggott couldn't help but lose his smile, "Don't rush, let's take our time and figure out what to do, if one doesn't work, think of a second, a third."

"What about the first one? Have you thought of it yet?" He said it as if it was easy and Brimlad pressed on.

"The first one...." Baggott thought hard, "Tell you what, we'll both go to Earlene ourselves and persuade her."

When he heard this solution, Brimlad couldn't help but roll his eyes, "Too late! I've already persuaded her, but it's no use at all. She's determined to marry Hector, how could she listen to me?" And with Earlene's stubborn personality, she wouldn't change her mind that easily.

"What then?" Baggott asked.

"I'm not asking you, why are you asking me in return?" Brimlad was almost angry with him, "You said, "If one doesn't work, think of a second and a third."

"Fine, don't rush me, I'll take my time."

Brimlad looked at Baggott who was thinking hard, "Time is not on your side."

...

In the afternoon, Thomas took Solomon and Sweety to the old Khan family home.

"Grandma and Uncle."

As soon as he saw Brimlad, Sweety ran over to him on short legs.

"Baby, what are you doing here?" Brimlad picked her up in his arms.

"Uncle Thomas said to bring us to Daddy's wedding."

At that, Brimlad frowned and gazed at Thomas, saying with some delicacy, "How can you say such things to a child?

Thomas smiled shyly, "I was just joking with them."

"That's no way to joke."

Then Brimlad said to the two children, "Don't listen to you Uncle Thomas, your daddy didn't have a wedding."

"Oh, I thought Daddy was going to have a wedding with Mummy." Sweety's expression was a little disappointed.

Brimlad pinched her nose gently and laughed, "When your daddy gets back, you can ask your daddy to give your mummy a big wedding." Sweety's eyes lit up, "Can I?

Brimlad smiled, "Of course you can."

She walked over to Solomon, who called out nicely, "Grandma and Uncle."

"Good boy, Solomon." Brimlad holds out her hand.

Solomon took her by the hand.

"Thomas, I'll take the boys up to their mother, make yourself at home."

Thomas smiled and nodded, "Okay."

As he watched them go upstairs, the smile on Thomas' face slowly faded and became serious.

Before coming to the capital, Mr Rupert had specifically instructed him to bring the prince back this time.

So, by whatever means, he had to bring the prince back!

...

The arrival of the two children was like a ray of sunshine suddenly shining into the gloom.

Everything brightened up.

"Mummy."

Solomon and Sweety ran towards Eloise.

Eloise knelt down, hugged them left and right, kissed them each and asked with a smile, "Who brought you here?"

"Uncle Thomas," Sweety said crisply in return.

"Thomas is here." Eloise looked to Brimlad.

Brimlad nodded, "Eh, here he is, downstairs."

"Auntie, keep an eye on them for me while I go downstairs." Eloise said.

Maybe Thomas would have a way to get Hector out.

Brimlad knew what she wanted to do and nodded, saying, "Go on. I'll watch the baby."

"Solomon, Sweety, Mummy has something to say to Uncle Thomas, you wait upstairs for Mummy."

Eloise stroked both children's heads and walked quickly out.

...

Eloise hurried downstairs and caught a glimpse of Thomas sitting in the living room, she walked over to him quickly. "Thomas."

At the sound of the voice, Thomas turned his head, saw it was her and hurriedly stood up, "Miss Eloise."

"Sit down, I need to talk to you."

Eloise sat down opposite him and asked, "Do you have a way to save Hector?"

Thomas didn't answer directly, "This time I came to the capital to save the prince."

"And do you have a way?" Eloise repeated the question.

"There is no way, but I know what to do."

Eloise frowned, "How do you want to do it?"

"Just rob the people."

It was the only thing to do now.

"Rob someone?" Eloise couldn't help but worry, "Wouldn't that be too dangerous?"

"I don't think so."

Thomas couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't be dangerous, but it was the only way to go, and it was the only way to go.

Eloise thought about it and asked, "When do you plan to move?"

"In the next two days."

Eloise nodded, "OK, I'll ask my cousin to arrange for some men to go with you."

"Good."

But when Eloise told Edgar about it that evening, she was stopped.

"No, we can't take that risk." Edgar said.

"I know it's risky, but it's the only thing to do now."

Edgar knew it too, but still disagreed, "No, I won't allow you to take that risk."

"Fine, then you give me a reason."

"Did you know that Earlene's godfather is a pretty powerful mobster in J. Gangster? The other side is outwardly golden, but the power is still not to be underestimated."

"So?" Eloise didn't understand what this had to do with Earlene's godfather.

"He arranged for a number of people to accompany Earlene when she returned home, and those are ruthless people. If Thomas and the others get caught, there's going to be a lot of trouble." Hearing him say that, Eloise's heart was not in it, there was no way she would disregard Thomas and the others' lives in order to save Hector.
