Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1295: Can you spend more time with me

"Miss. Eloise, your husband will surely come back to you soon." Edwina reassured.

Eloise smiled, "Thank you."

The two talk for a while longer before Edwina gets up to leave.

Walking out of the ward, Edwina met Brimlad sitting outside and both of them froze.

She reacted first, nodded to Brimlad and said, "Auntie, I'm leaving."

Brimlad gave a faint "hmm" and didn't say anything more.

Edwina smiled at her, even though she was a little sad, before she left.

Brimlad watched her disappear around the corner of the corridor before he withdrew his gaze, looking thoughtful.

"Auntie, are you out there?"

A voice from the ward pulled her senses back and she hurriedly got up and walked in.

"Is something wrong?" Brimlad asked.

"Nothing. People are gone, you don't have to be hiding out there."

"Hiding?" Brimlad frowned, "What am I hiding from?"

"Aren't you?" Eloise asked rhetorically.

"I ..." Brimlad tried to explain, but thought there was no point in doing so, "Fine, your call."

Eloise burst out laughing, "Just accept the reality, Auntie. Edwina and her cousin are very close and you shouldn't keep thinking about a marriage, that may not be good for your cousin or the Khan family." "You don't understand." Brimlad didn't want to talk about it, but the thought of her son and Edwina dating made her feel bad.

"Why don't I understand. I know you're doing it for your cousin's sake, but that Elva really isn't right for him."

"How do you know it's not right if you haven't even gotten along?"

Brimlad still felt that Elva was more suitable for his son than Edwina.

Eloise was helpless, "Forget it, forget I said it. If you think it's right, then it's right. Anyway, you and your brother-in-law don't regret it."

By putting her words in front of her, she was certain that they would regret it later.

After all, that Elva really wasn't right for her cousin.

"Regret?" Brimlad couldn't help but smile, "Don't worry, there's no way we'll regret it. It's just that we don't know how to keep your cousin and Edwina apart now."

Eloise was silent for a few seconds before she spoke, "Auntie, let me advise you, you'd better not mess around or your cousin could get angry. When he gets angry, things will get messy." "He's my son, I do what's best for him, why would he be angry?"

Eloise shrugged her shoulders, "I won't say anymore, just be happy."

This was a matter between her cousin and Edwina, she couldn't meddle too much.

She only hoped that her brother-in-law would soon understand that in matters of affection, it was ultimately a matter of two lovers.

"Let's not talk about it." Brimlad changed the subject, "I have to go home and see Solomon and Sweety."

...

After lunch, Eloise lay down and prepared for her lunch break.

That's when a voice came from outside, "This is Miss Eloise's room."

"Thank you."

The "thank you" was a low, familiar sound.

Eloise sat up from the bed almost reflexively, her heart beating rapidly and she looked expectantly at the door.

It was him!

Knock, knock!

There was a short knock on the door.

Eloise subconsciously gripped the bedclothes and said in a raised voice, "Come in."

There was a slight tremor in her voice.

Hector pushes the door open and enters the ward, stopping in his tracks when he sees Eloise sitting on the bed.

They looked at each other.

He's really here!

Moisture instantly filled her eyes and she hastily inclined her head, raising her hand to wipe it away before looking at him and curling her lips in a smile, "You're here."

Hector walked over and placed the flowers he had brought on the bedside table, "For you."

Eloise looked at the bouquet of flowers, they were lilies.

Her favourite flowers.

Not that he remembered, but she had mentioned it when she was with the Bartram family.

But then she was Elo, so how could he ...

Seeing her keep staring at the flower, Hector thought she didn't like lilies and hastened to explain, "I didn't know what flower you liked, and it just so happened that I had a friend who liked lilies, and I thought you might like them too." So he already thought of Elo as a friend.

"I like lilies." Eloise shifted her gaze to him and continued, "You used to buy lilies for me all the time."

"Did you?" Hector gave an apologetic look, "I'm sorry, I don't remember."

"That's okay." Eloise shook her head, "You didn't mean to forget, so don't feel sorry."

Hector was silent for a moment before speaking again, "How are you feeling?" "I'm fine."

"Really?" Hector was a little unconvinced, afraid she might be lying to him.

Eloise laughed, "Of course it's true, do I have to lie to you? It's you instead..."

She paused, her eyebrows tipped the same way, "Is Earlene okay with you coming to see me?" "She doesn't know."

He'd sneaked out while Earlene wasn't home.

"So you're not afraid she'll be angry?" Eloise asked again.

Yesterday's wedding had been a mess and Earlene was so angry she wouldn't even talk to him.

He, on the other hand, was worried about Eloise and had no desire to talk to Earlene.

Even if he was angry, it was just a matter of continuing to ignore him.

"Not afraid." Hector said back.

"Then... can you spend more time with me?" Eloise gazed deeply at him.

Hector smiled, "Sure."

Eloise's eyes lit up and she quickly jumped out of bed, pulling him to a chair next to the bed and sitting down, "Sit right here, I want to talk to you about the old days." "The old days?" HectorEdwina frowned.

"Hmm." Eloise nodded, "I thought you'd be interested."

"What if I said I wouldn't dare to be interested?" Hector asked tentatively.

"No way. You must be curious about your own past with your memory loss, and as I'm your wife, I can give you a good account of what we've been through."

If time allowed, she really wanted to tell him all about the two of them from the time they met to the time they fell in love.

But obviously time didn't allow for that and she had to keep it short.

"Wife ..." Hector smiled, "To be honest, the first thing I saw when I woke up was Earlene, I had no idea I even had a wife, or even a child too."

Hearing this, Eloise couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness in her heart.

If it hadn't been for Earlene, that time in Italy, they would have been reunited.

Sometimes it was like a dream when you thought about it.

The dream woke up and he came back.

"So, how do you feel now that you know?" Eloise was curious to know if he had a sense of familiarity with her and Solomon and Sweety.

Hector pondered for a moment before speaking, "Seeing you and the baby cry was like something gripping my heart."

The tip of Eloise's nose twitched and she pursed her lips, "So it's not like you don't feel anything for us, is it?"

Hector was silent.

"You're just choosing to ignore what you really feel in your heart for Earlene's sake." Eloise said.
