Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1296: I'll wait for you

The truth was that the scales in Hector's heart had been slowly tipping towards Eloise for a long time, but it was really Earlene who had saved him at that time.

That kindness would not allow him to hurt her.

Eloise saw his hesitation in her eyes, and she laughed lightly, with a hint of bitterness in her smile, "You don't want to be sorry to Earlene, but have you ever thought that you are hurting me and the child." Hector clenched his hands, "But... I don't remember you guys."

At that, Eloise's face instantly went cold, "Can't you just say you don't remember, Hector, you're so cruel!"

Her "You're too cruel" stung Hector's heart.

Edwina lifted her lips as if to say something, but said nothing.

Eloise took a deep breath, "Hector, we've been through so much, how can you forget?"

Tears streamed down her face and Eloise bit her lip to stop herself from crying out.

She cried and he felt bad inside, it felt like someone was cutting into his heart with a knife.

"Hector, come back to me and the baby." Eloise's tone softened.

"I'm sorry." The words spilled out of Hector's mouth with difficulty.

The sorry was because he'd made a pact with another woman as well.

He had never been so desperate to get his memory back.

Eloise suddenly smiled, but her tears fell harder, and she raised her hand to wipe them fiercely, "Hector, good for you!"

Hector resisted the urge to hug her and closed his eyes, "I'm really sorry."

"I told you, I don't want to be sorry!" Eloise suddenly became agitated.

"You said I was the woman you loved most and that you wouldn't let me suffer one more moment of aggravation."

"I ..."

As soon as Hector spoke, he was interrupted by Eloise: "Stop saying you've lost your memory! If you're a man, you'll keep your word!" A man of his word?

Hector burst into tears, he didn't want to keep his word, but he really didn't remember.

Eloise sniffled, "You'll have to keep your promise anyway. No marrying Earlene!"

"Miss Eloise ...," Hector was bemused.

"Call me Eloise," Eloise ordered.

Hector had to call out instead, "Eloise."

When she finally heard him call her that, the tears Eloise had managed to stop broke once more.

"Don't you cry." Hector got up, drew a few tissues and went up to wipe her tears.

"You do care about me, don't you?" Eloise grabbed his hand.

Hector tried to pull back, but her grip tightened and all he could do was sigh softly and say nothing.

"I know you are caring for me, so can you listen to your own heart?" Eloise said.

His heart?

Hector lowered his eyes, "I won't deny that I do care about you and the baby, but... because of my memory loss, I ..."

"Are you trying to say that you can't be sorry for Earlene?"

Instead of answering her question directly, Hector said seriously, "I will try to remember everything about my past."

At that, Eloise's thin eyebrows furrowed, "Do you think you can think about it?"

"I can."

Eloise looked at him for a moment before asking suspiciously, "Are you remembering something?"

"No."

He answered too quickly for Eloise to feel right and continued to press, "If you don't tell the truth, I'm just about a little bit here and I might get pissed off at you." Pissed off?

Hector thought of the scene at the wedding where he saw her faint and his face changed instantly, "Don't be angry."

"So are you going to tell the truth?" Eloise stared at him intently.

Hector was silent for a moment before speaking, "Yes, I'll tell."

Eloise then smiled, "That's right."

Hector thought for a moment, "When I saw you faint at the wedding yesterday, some images did flash through my mind." "What images?" Eloise trailed off.

"All of you." Hector answered back truthfully.

Eloise was ecstatic, "It was all me?"

Hector nodded, "Yeah."

"So is it something you remember?" Eloise asked tentatively.

After asking, she squeezed her palms together nervously, a heart beating fast.

"No." Hector shook his head, "Just some images that flashed by quickly and when I tried to think back seriously, I couldn't remember much."

"How did that happen?" Eloise said lost in thought, "It's not supposed to be like that..."

It's only logical that someone who has lost their memory should be able to regain it when they are stimulated.

Isn't that what they always do on TV?

Was it because he had drug-induced amnesia?

Hector laughed helplessly, "To be honest, I would like to regain my memory sooner, but every time I try to think hard about what happened before, my head hurts." "The head hurts?" Eloise frowned.

"Well, it's because it hurts and I can't force myself to think about it."

It seemed to be true that it was because of the drugs.

In that case, wouldn't Almeida and Sener be able to do something about it? Thinking about it, Eloise said, "I might have a way to get your memory back." "Hmm?" Hector froze.

Eloise curled her lips, "I don't believe Earlene is really that good anymore."

"Why can't I understand what you're saying?" Hector looked confused.

Eloise jumped off the bed and took his hands in hers, her gaze locked on his handsome face, "Hector, you have to remember that I'm your wife and we have two lovely children." Her eyes were particularly bright and clean.

Hector nodded as he accidentally fell deeper into them, "Good."

Eloise suddenly let go of his hand and flung herself into his arms, hugging him tightly around the waist and burying her head in his embrace, listening to the sound of his steady heartbeat with particular reassurance. Hector lifted his hand, hesitant to hug her.

"Hector, I really do love you, so you must come back to me."

Hearing these words, Hector's heart softened and he held her in his arms.

They held each other in silence for a moment before Eloise left his embrace and looked up into his deep, dark eyes, the corners of her mouth slowly lifting.

"The children miss you too, so if you can, you can visit them at the Khan family sometime."

"Is that okay?" Hector asked cautiously.

To be honest, ever since the day Sweety had left the Bartram family in tears, he couldn't get it out of his mind, and he felt especially guilty.

Even if he had lost his own memory, he should always hug people when the child came to him.

Eloise nodded, "Of course."

Hector smiled, "Then I'll be there."

"I'll wait for you." Eloise lifted her arms around his neck, stood on her tiptoes and kissed him on the lips.

The pupils of Hector's eyes fluttered as the soft touch on his mouth made his heart flutter.

She backed away with just a light touch.

For a moment, he wanted to wrap his arms around her waist and kiss her fiercely.
