Closing the information, Eloise thought for a moment and said, "That woman should have come for me, she said she wanted to get me killed when we were on the rooftop." Hector's face was grim, and the aura around him was frighteningly cold.

I was afraid that this time things were not as simple as they seemed, there must be someone else behind this crazy woman.

But whoever wanted to touch his people would need to pay the price.

"I'll send you back to rest first, I'll take care of the rest." Hector said gently.

Eloise nodded, there really wasn't much she could do to help in this matter.

The two returned home and Hector's mother immediately approached.

She looked at Eloise carefully and asked, "Eloise, are you all right? Are you hurt anywhere?"

When Eloise saw the worried look on Hector's mother's face, her heart warmed and she shook her head, "Mum, I'm fine."

Hector's mother sighed with relief and took Eloise's hand and sat down on the sofa.

"It's good that you're okay, I was so scared when Hector called to say that something had happened to you, thank goodness for the blessings of the Bodhisattva to bring you back safely." Hector's mother looked at Eloise's face and complained, "Don't go out alone anymore, what will we do if something happens?

If you go out again, make sure you have a few extra bodyguards to keep you safe."

At Hector's mother's rebuke, Eloise took Hector's mother's hand and said, "Don't worry, Mum, I'll take care of myself, it won't happen again."

Looking around, Eloise saw no sign of Solomon and asked, "By the way, Mum, where's Solomon? Why don't I see him?"

Hector's mother peeled an apple and handed it to Eloise, saying, "Your dad took him out for a play date and he should be back soon.

At this point, Hector spoke up and interrupted the pair's conversation.

"Well, Mum, Eloise has had quite a scare today, so why don't you talk to Eloise for a while, I have to go out and take care of a few things." Hectorâ€TMs mother nodded at his words.

"You go ahead, I'll keep Eloise company here, but remember to be safe."

Hector nodded and left with a kiss on Eloise's cheek.

Not long after Hector had left the house, Hector's father returned with Solomon.

When Solomon saw the figure of Eloise, he jumped straight at her.

"Mummy, what took you so long to get back, I waited for you at home for ages and you were nowhere to be seen."

Solomon finished with a pout and an angry look on his face.

Eloise saw this and hugged him in her arms and said with an apology, "I'm sorry Solomon, it's Mummy's fault today, it won't happen again, Mummy will always be there for Solomon."

"The boy is always clinging to you, what will happen when he grows up? Hector's mother said, poking Solomon on the tip of his nose.

Solomon made a face at Hector's mother and said, "I don't want to get a wife, I want to get married to Mummy so I don't have to leave her."

Solomon's words made the boys laugh and after that Eloise said seriously to Solomon, "Mummy can't marry Solomon, Solomon will have a family of his own."

Solomon beamed and said with a slightly unhappy expression, "Well then, since Mummy doesn't want to, I won't force it."

But soon he pouted and took Eloise's hand, saying, "I want Mummy to play with me, it's been ages since I've played with her."

Eloise smiled a little, got up, and said to Hector's fatherHector's mother, "Mum, Dad, I'll go up with Solomon first then." "Well, go on."

As she watched Eloise leave with Solomon in her arms, Hector's mother couldn't help but sigh.

"What's the matter, don't you feel a bit sorry for him?" Hector's father asked as he took a sip of his tea.

Having been married to Hector's mother for so many years, Hector's father knew Hector's mother's expressions and movements like the back of his hand, and was naturally able to guess what was on Hector's mother's mind at this point. Hector waved his hand and the assistant busied himself with posting it.

"Did you get her information yet?"

The assistant sniffed and handed the file bag in her hand to Hector and said, "Got it, this woman was a trafficker before and her family is in poor condition.

Looking at the contents of the document, the corner of Hector's mouth held a cold smile, thinking that her son was the only one she was holding on to, so that made things much easier.

Closing the file, Hector enquired, "Where is the woman now?"

"In the interrogation room, the chief said he would turn off the cameras in the room and the recorder if you questioned her yourself." The assistant replied.

"Say thank you to the chief for me."

At Hector's words, a young policeman approached, indicating that he had been sent by the chief to take him to the woman.

Hector nodded and followed the policeman inside.

Once inside the room, the policeman pressed a few buttons on the wall, only to see the lights in the interrogation room dimmed considerably at once. "Mr Hector, make yourself at home." The policeman said and left.

Hector sat across from the woman, his eyes sharp as he looked at her.

The entire interrogation room was just Hector and her, and the woman had her eyes closed at the moment, not caring who walked in.
