Love Comes To Me
Chapter 425: Could it be jealousy?

Meanwhile, Rupert was lying in a hospital bed, bored and playing in circles with his phone.

He had been lying like this all these days, unable to go anywhere at all with such a serious leg injury, so he could only lie in his room and play on his phone every day. So he played every game he could, many of which he had beaten to the national level, and it really wasn't even fun to play anymore, and he was almost fuming all day today. The doctor knocked on the door and came over to change his medication, he looked up, looked at the doctor and wondered, "Where's Aisly?"

The doctor stared at the medicine in his hand and without looking up said, "She should be off duty and I need to check your wound now to consider whether to change it." Rupert nodded in a plausible way, after all, he wasn't well yet, so of course he just did everything the doctor told him to do.

The burns on his back had started to improve with the treatment of the high cost imported drugs.

These days, Hector regularly flies drugs back from abroad and sends them straight over, regardless of the consequences, all in one go. So Rupert's wounds healed quickly, and by now they were all healed. The doctor took one look and said, "The wound on your back was torn later, wasn't it?"

Rupert nodded a little embarrassed and scratched his hair, "It's kind of a brave thing to do, but it was his own family he saved."

His upbeat attitude struck a chord with the doctor, who took a gentler tone, "It does seem to have been torn a little by overexertion.

Fortunately, the situation is not particularly serious, I guess it will be fine with a while of medicine, if the leg, I'll give you a different kind of medicine and start using it tomorrow."

As the doctor spoke, he took notes, and in a short while, he had written a page of medical records.

Just then, Aisly came in hot and bothered, looked at Rupert and then at the doctor's serious look and said with a nervous face, "Dean, is he alright?"

The dean looked at him with a nervous look and shook his head with a look of understanding, "No, I just came over to check on him and see how he was doing."

Hearing him say that, Aisly only completely put her mind at ease and said a little embarrassed, "I thought something had happened again."

After saying this, Aisly wanted to smack herself to death, there was nothing wrong with her, but when she said this, it became like there was no silver bullet here.

The dean shook his head and said, "Well, go get the medicine and change it for him, it's almost time to change it.

Only after hearing what the dean said did Aisly nod and then respectfully said, "Thank you, dean."

Only when the dean had left did Rupert grimace and say with an innocent look, "I thought it was someone with a serious face checking my wounds, I thought something had happened to me."

Aisly said a little disgruntled, "Mr Rupert, not everyone needs to take you seriously. Those ordinary doctors are subservient to you because one word from you can cost them their jobs. But you should know that you don't rule the world." Rupert hadn't suffered much before, and naturally he didn't understand. Now that he had heard Aisly say this, he seemed to understand something and nodded thoughtfully, "That seems to make sense."

Aisly added, "But you can really do whatever you want with money, the dean used to only show up when there was a major operation that couldn't be solved, I didn't expect you to be here, even checking on the rooms yourself." Rupert was dumbfounded, "Then he still has a serious face."

"Because you're so rich." Aisly continued.

She couldn't get Rupert to take that one, so he was silent.

Aisly didn't say anything either and went straight over to push her medication trolley over and silently medicated Rupert.

Rupert slumped over and muttered, "When Dean showed up earlier, I thought it was his day to change my medication, it all scared me."

Hearing him say that, Aisly's heart warmed and she asked with a smile, "So you want me to change your medicine?"

But Rupert didn't seem to pick up on her off-color comment, "No, I just thought, at least get me a pretty nurse, what's the big deal about getting an old man."

As soon as he said that, he was poked by Aisly with a cotton swab, causing Rupert to grimace and shout, "Aisly, you want to kill me."

"You deserve to die, so you don't have to go out there and hurt the pretty nurses." Aisly said in an unpleasant voice.

Hearing her words, Rupert couldn't help but think in his mind, "What's wrong with her? Was she jealous?

Before he could finish his thought, Aisly said coldly, "Well, the medicine is finished, I'll go and get busy first."

Rupert was about to say something, but Aisly was already pushing her things away.

When she came out, Aisly was baffled, she knew he had done nothing wrong, but she couldn't say that again, because if Mr Rupert got angry, she wouldn't get all the money for her care. Well, she was looking after him for the money.

When she came out, she heard a discussion in the corridor.

"Hey? That Aisly's been medicating Mr Rupert again, huh?"

"Yeah, she goes over there every day with her eyes bent on staying in people's wards, and she's distracted at work."

Another nurse said, "You're silly, why work when you've got Mr Rupert on your side?"

"If you ask me, it's her Aisly who has the vision."

"What vision? Don't you see what she is? She's not worthy of it. Mr Rupert has so many beautiful women around him. When the man finished speaking, the group suddenly burst out laughing.

Aisly hid to the side and listened to their discussion, wanting to see what they could say.

Just then, the head nurse came over, and when the group saw the head nurse, they all hurriedly shut up.

The head nurse coughed lightly, as if on purpose, and asked loudly, "Where is Aisly? Where has she gone again?"

At this point a hilarious one hurriedly stepped forward and said, "Not in Mr Rupert's room yet."

The group looked jealous and scolded Aisly.

Aisly, fearing that she would be marked absent and have her wages deducted, rushed out and said indifferently, "I'm here, head nurse."

When some people saw her sudden appearance, their faces changed slightly, as if they were afraid she had just heard something.

But there were also some who looked on, and hurriedly said, "Just back from Mr Rupert's, have you?"

Aisly just ignored their comments and went on with her routine, doing her own thing.
