Love Comes To Me
Chapter 435: You won't get away with any of you

Once back in his room, Hector looked at Eloise with a trifling grin.

Eloise couldn't help but shiver.

"Eloise, it's time for us to fulfil Mum's wish."

At those words, a blush instantly tinted Eloise's cheeks.

Although the two of them were no longer children, Eloise was still very rusty when it came to such things.

At that moment Eloise was like a lamb waiting to be slaughtered.

She looks at Hector with an innocent look that she doesn't realise is fatal to a man.

Hector was unable to resist.

He pressed up against him.

...

It was almost dawn before Hector let Eloise go.

Eloise was so exhausted that she didn't wake up until 2pm.

Opening her eyes to see Hector looking at her with a smile on his face, Eloise asked, puzzled, "Don't you have to go to the office today?" "I'm mostly at home with you today, I've left everything to Thomas and there's not much going on these days." Hector said softly. They spent some time in bed together before going to wash up.

When she came to the mirror, Eloise stared at the marks on her neck and her eyes widened.

How could she ... go out with this ...

When Hector saw it, he wrapped his arms around her from behind and whispered in her ear, "I want everyone to know you're mine." Eloise couldn't help but laugh and smacked Hector's arm, "What will Mom think when she sees you downstairs?"

Hector didn't care and continued to hold on to Eloise.

Eloise couldn't continue with what was going on, but she couldn't resist him, so she let him go.

It took nearly an hour in the bathroom before the two of them emerged from it.

Before going downstairs, Eloise had chosen a shirt with a higher neckline, hoping to hide the marks on her neck.

"Come on up, the food's ready and waiting for you." Hector's mother said with a smile.

Rupert, being the love interest that he is, saw at once the mark on Eloise's neck that he was trying to deliberately hide.

"Sister-in-law, it looks like my brother didn't hit you lightly yesterday." He couldn't help but tease.

No sooner had he said that than Hector snapped back with the words, "Eat."

With that, Hector tossed a piece of meat into Rupert's bowl, with a warning look in his eyes.

A chill ran down Rupert's spine and he buried his head in his food and stopped talking.

When he saw this, Hector's mother scolded him, "You can't stop eating, so go for a walk in the park with me after dinner today.

At this, Rupert had to eat even better, as he was the lowest-ranking person in the family.

Unlike the Rogers family, who were in a peaceful state, the Thompson family was in a state of turmoil.

Companies that had previously worked with the Thompson Group have offered to terminate their contracts.

After all, no one wants to have anything to do with a murderer's company.

This time Agnes really pushed Josh into the deep end.

During this time, the shareholders in the company also demanded that the chairman change hands, making Josh afraid to go to the company at all.

Josh had lost weight and was walking around the house with a sad face every day.

Ela couldn't help but complain, "Stop shaking, you're making my head spin, when are the police going to leave anyway?

"I don't have enough to worry about at work, can't you just stop for a couple of days?" Josh said with some impatience.

"Aren't you the head of the family? If you weren't my man I wouldn't bother saying anything, you're a loser." Ela said in a sour tone.

Josh was furious and said in a harsh tone, "If it wasn't for you and that bastard, would the Thompson family be in this mess? If this happens, none of you will get away with it."

At Josh's words, Ela was shocked, "You! What do you mean? Are you threatening me?"

"Threat or not, it doesn't matter now, you'd better contact Agnes, the ungrateful daughter, and come back to give yourself up soon, so that the Thompson family's loss can be smaller."

With those words, Josh left straight away.

"I'm so blind to follow you!"

Ela shouted as she watched Josh's back.

The only answer she got was the sound of the door slamming, and Ela felt so angry that she slammed everything on the coffee table to the floor.

When he arrived at the office, Josh was told to attend the AGM and although he was a little reluctant, Josh went anyway.

Upon entering the meeting room, Josh found that a man was now sitting in the main seat.

This man, Cullen Fairbrother, is a man with a reputation for being on par with Josh.

He had been at loggerheads with Josh before, but had never had the chance to take him down, so he had to wait for an opportunity to do so.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for him to do something about Agnes, and he's not going to let it go.

Cullen saw Josh arrive and nodded to him.

Josh's face was a little hard to read and he had to take a seat off to the side.

Cullen looked around the room to make sure everyone was there before clearing his throat.

"Well, now that we're almost there, it's time to get down to the business of the day."

At those words, the noise in the room disappeared.

Only Cullen turned his head to look at Josh.

"Patriarch Thompson, I'm sure you're aware that what your beloved daughter has done has caused the company no end of trouble, and I wonder if there's anything you'd like to say about what the shareholders proposed earlier?" "Cullen, I know, you've always wanted the chairmanship, but I'm telling you, there's no way."

Josh added in a cold voice, "The Thompson Group was built by my father, and it is still called Jiang, and it is my Thompson family's property. i will definitely give you all shareholders an explanation about Agnes, so please don't worry." As he finished speaking, one of them stood up and pointed at Josh's nose and said, "Don't try to fool us with this kind of rhetoric. You don't even know where Agnes has escaped to, so how are you going to tell us? Besides, the Thompson Group is already in a precarious position, and if someone sensible doesn't come forward to take charge, I'm afraid the Thompson Group will have to declare bankruptcy."

"That's right, Josh, if you know what's right, you'd better step down as soon as possible before everyone loses face."

Cullen sat at the head of the table watching them corner Josh, very calm and collected.

How could he have called this meeting if he hadn't been prepared?

As the crowd counted Josh out, Cullen stood up.

He tossed Josh a file from his hand.

"Okay everyone stop arguing, I remember the old man left a rule before, whoever has more shares, has the say. Now that I hold forty-five percent in the Thompson Group, I wonder if I have the right to ask Patriarch Thompson to step aside?" It turned out that Cullen had not been present in the company these days, had secretly acquired a lot of shares and was now one of the largest shareholders in the Thompson Group.
