Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 475: Drive to the End
"Don't worry about it, Marian will bring the man back to us."
Hector said as he took Eloise in his arms, comfortingly.
Although she knows how efficient Marian is, Eloise can't say she trusts Marian as a person.
After all, she was always on one side of the fence and on the other, making it impossible for her to identify.
"Hmm."
Responding indifferently, Eloise said no more.
Abroad at this moment, Arthur looked at Agnes with a grim face and a cold look in his eyes as if he wanted to kill her by a thousand cuts.
Agnes, knowing that this time things were not going well, dared not speak up and sat quietly opposite Arthur.
"Mr. Stephen, the fallout from this incident has caused some impatience over there and word is getting out that they are looking for someone to take ... your place..."
The assistant bowed his head to deliver the message, his voice trembling a little, fearing Arthur's wrath.
The next moment, however, Arthur grabbed him by the neck collar and questioned, "How do you do things? Don't you keep the news to yourself first? I'd like to see those bastards take my place! I'd like to see those bastards take my place! If word gets out from inside the company, don't blame me Arthur for disregarding old friendships!"
The assistant immediately slips away at the order and only Agnes and Arthur are left in the room.
Arthur stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, lit a cigarette, took a hard drag and exhaled the smoke ring slowly from his mouth.
Abruptly, he turned to look at Agnes.
Arthur's eyes were sharp as he took a step towards her.
Seeing Arthur's movements, Agnes instinctively took a few steps backwards and her voice couldn't help but tremble a little, "Mr. Stephen... you... what are you doing?"
At that, Arthur sneered, "What am I going to do? Doesn't Miss Eloise know that because of your negligence, I've lost everything? Now that the domestic market is completely dominated by Hector and the company is in a state of panic, what chance do you think I have of winning? The family is disappointed in me and my name may well be left out of the next candidate, is that satisfactory to you?"
Arthur closes in and Agnes can only retreat to the corner.
Glancing at Arthur's gloomy face, Agnes didn't know how to retort.
Suddenly Arthur grabbed her by the neck and said threateningly, "Agnes I tell you, now that I'm down and out, if you dare to tell anyone about what happened between us. I can make you disappear from this world without a word, are you clear?"
Because of the time spent working with Agnes, there are things that Arthur has done that have come to Agnes' attention.
It's not that Arthur is unaware of Agnes' little antics.
But because she still had something to offer, she was left untouched.
Now that the two are no longer involved in their interests, they are not afraid to tear their faces off.
Arthur's grip slowly tightened as Agnes kept struggling.
"Mr. Stephen, I promise that ... nothing will get out ... and please leave me ... a dog's life ..."
Agnes begged for mercy, but Arthur continued to tighten as if he hadn't heard.
A bloodthirsty glint slowly dawned in his eyes and Agnes felt suffocated.
It was only when Agnes' struggles became less forceful that Arthur let her go.
Flinging her straight to the floor, she threw it away and took out a hanky to wipe her palms.
It is as if what is just in your hand is a piece of junk.
Agnes fell to her knees and kept gasping for breath as she regained access to fresh air. Seeing Arthur's back, Agnes couldn't help but still feel a little scared.
This man is a devil!
In Arthur's eyes, she literally saw death.
"Get someone to throw her out and don't let me see this woman again." "Yes, President!"
As Arthur spoke, he saw several burly men come over and grab Agnes.
Dragged and thrown all the way out of the estate.
The treatment is like that of a wild dog on the side of the road.
Agnes was lying on the side of the road with no strength left in her body.
I thought I could turn it around this time, but I never thought I'd fall at the hands of that Eloise woman!
She was resigned to it!
Agnes clenched her hands into fists and looked ahead with malevolent eyes.
She vowed that the pain and humiliation she had suffered today would be returned to Eloise a hundred times, if not a thousand times, in the future!
Once she had regained a little strength, Agnes staggered up from the floor.
Took a taxi back to the residence.
The bad news is that Agnes found all her things thrown out into the corridor. Hearing a man's voice from the front, Agnes had a bad feeling in her heart.
As she walked up quickly, she saw several men in the room, carrying her things outside.
Agnes stopped it in a hurry, "What are you doing? Is this my house? You're trespassing, I could sue you."
One of the men smiled and said, "Sorry Miss Eloise, this property belongs to Mr. Stephen and he has ordered us to come and pack up our things. If you have any complaints, you can always discuss them with him." At the sound of her voice, Agnes sat straight down.
Is it time to live on the streets again?
No, she didn't want to. What was the difference between that kind of life and a bum on the street?
"Excuse me, miss."
As Agnes froze, a man kicked her in the foot.
Agnes gave the man a vicious look and turned to leave.
What a good Arthur. He wasted all his time working with him, but in the end, he would do something like this to drive him away.
Walking down the street, Agnes couldn't help but feel a little bit of desolation.
If all this hadn't happened, she would still be Miss Agnes of the Thompson Group.
There is an endless amount of pocket money on hand and nothing to worry about.
But now that the world has changed, she has to live in such fear.
She was afraid to return to her country, and whenever she appeared at an airport or port location, there would be police waiting for her there. She also knows that Hector's forces have been looking for her, so she is afraid to appear in the big cities.
If she fell into Hector's hands, she would have been worse off than dead.
'Grunting,' her stomach rumbled at the right time, and Agnes stroked her flat belly.
Muttering, "Don't blame mummy, baby, these days are only temporary, one day I will bring that woman Eloise to her knees in front of me!"
Her stomach growled twice more and Agnes looked up, her eyes finally locking on a restaurant in front of her.
Rummaging through the only change she had on her person, Agnes stepped inside.
Just as she was ordering her meal, a figure suddenly appeared behind her and snapped her shoulder directly. Agnes turned her head and screamed, trying to break free.
But Marian's strength was too great and she was powerless to resist.
Marian took Agnes away with a cold face and peace returned to the interior of the restaurant.
Although she didn't know who was holding her, Agnes knew it had to be Hector's forces.
