Love Comes To Me
Chapter 497: Nothing else is good enough for you

Seeing that the conversation was about to get carried away by Rupert, Hector returned to his senses.

He coughed clearly, looked at the crowd and said with a straight face, "You don't need to pick out your jewellery and wedding dresses for now." The words landed on his lips and everyone looked at him in unison, puzzled.

A shadow fell over Eloise's eyes for a moment, but it quickly dissipated.

Rupert let go of Solomon and pointed his finger at Hector with a pained look on his face, "Brother, you can't be this heartless, can you? Even if it's not enough for me, how can you be so hard on your sister-in-law? Brother, you're a scum! You can't even give me the jewellery or the wedding dress!"

Hector gave him a blank look, ignored Rupert and explained: "Don't think too much about it, I'm going on a business trip in a few days and Eloise is coming with me. I'm going on a business trip in a few days, and Eloise and I will be there. We'll pick the best coloured ones and have them made into jewellery."

Hector put his arm around Eloise and continued, "As for the wedding dress, I've asked Thomas to contact Lamphie Helms, the head designer in Milan. We'll be making a trip to Milan then, so you don't have to worry about the wedding dress." Hector's tone was breezy.

It's as if you're saying it's a nice day to throw that out there.

But those who listened were not so calm.

Rupert's mouth dropped open to drop an egg after hearing Hector's description. "Shit, you guys are a love scene, don't show your love like that!"

When did his brother become so romantic?

Mr Fletcher was off to the side, kicking his youngest son and warning him, "What's with the foul language, teach Solomon a lesson and I won't spare you!"

Rupert rubbed his neck sheepishly, not daring to say anything.

As for Eloise, after hearing Hector's plan, she was already in outer space.

Well, the diamond mines of South Africa ...

Mrs Matriarch said with some concern, "Hector, that's a good idea, and I don't have a problem with the jewellery. But that Milanese designer you mentioned, why did Mum hear that she has called it quits and doesn't make custom wedding dresses anymore?"

She still knew about it because of a spiteful comment from one of her friends.

The year before last, a friend's daughter was getting married and also wanted to have a wedding dress specially designed by this well-known designer.

However, when they came to the door, they refused to do it when they heard it was a bespoke wedding dress.

And that was the end of the story.

Eloise yelped back, saying as an afterthought, "Well, why don't we just get a domestic designer, that's fine too."

Although she did not know this Milanese designer, she could sense from Mrs Matriarch's expression and words that this person should not be easy to deal with.

Rupert also put aside his playfulness and took his advice seriously.

"Yes, brother, I've heard my friends mention this too. The doorsteps of people looking for this great designer are almost broken, but no one has convinced her to come out. Just to be on the safe side, we'd better replace one that is well known in the country."

"No need, Mr. Lamphie has agreed to make a custom wedding dress for Eloise." Hector said with a lazy lift of his eyelids.

The crowd looked at him in dismay and shock.

"No way, how did you do that, you hit someone with a gold mountain?" Rupert exclaimed.

Hector glared at him, "Can't you think of anything nice? You're always talking about money, vulgar."

Eloise in his arms secretly spits out her tongue, in fact she just thought the same thing in her first reaction...

Hector's contemptuous tone made Rupert choke, but curiosity drove him to come forward with a cheap swish, "So how did you do it, brother, tell me?"

In the next second, Rupert received a series of three kicks.

Two kicks came from the parents and one from my own brother.

After a few seconds of thought, Eloise suddenly tugged at Hector's coat and asked him blankly, "Wouldn't it be a bit too much trouble? Actually, a simpler wedding would be fine."

In fact, Eloise's mind was still a little unsettled, and she had imagined before that her wedding might be grand.

But she didn't expect that Hector would go to such lengths for her.

Take that invitation to the designer, saying that it was someone for Thomas to replace, and how could Eloise believe that things could be that simple.

With design masters like that, money has long since failed to impress them.

Hector must have done a great deal of work to get her this opportunity in return.

Hearing Eloise's words, Hector shot right back, "No!"

Looking into her eyes, Hector took her hand and kissed it as if no one was watching, "It's no trouble at all, you deserve the best in the world, nothing else is worthy of you." In those eyes, there was deep emotion.

Eloise's nose tingled and a few tears welled up in her eyes, truly touched by Hector.

The people next to them also had the good sense to keep their heads down and not to disturb their warmth at the moment.

Even Rupert, the broken-hearted one, sat quietly to one side, watching the heartwarming moment.

A certain heartstring is plucked in the heart.

The face of a woman suddenly came to his mind.

Perhaps marriage wasn't so terrible, he mused.

The next day, Rupert went to the hospital to pick Aisly up from work.

While the two were dating, Rupert couldn't resist spilling the beans on all the details of Hector's wedding preparations for Eloise.

It's so shameful, I'm ashamed to hear it for him."

Rupert recreated the morning chat without forgetting to spit on his own brother.

Aisly gave him a squeeze in disgust.

"What do you know, it's romantic ok, what's the shame in that!"

She said with some envy, "I'm sure Miss Eloise will be happy."

Rupert's brow twitched and he reached out to pull Aisly to a halt.

Looking at her with stars straight in her eyes, she asked her sourly. "What the hell, aren't you happy?"

He stared hard at Aisly with defiance written all over his face.

"Uh, this ..."

Aisly froze for a few seconds at his question, her long, thin fingers resting on her lips in thought.

She scanned up and down at the more serious Rupert, and then said faintly, "Me? I'm just like that, okay."

The answer caused Rupert's face to droop in displeasure.

That's it? Okay?

Doesn't sound like a lot of satisfaction!

The man's ego was instantly bruised and Rupert felt instantly outclassed by Hector.

The mood changed from sunny to cloudy at this point.

He clenched his fist and looked at Aisly, saying in a dull tone, "Just you wait and see, I will make you happier than my sister-in-law in the future!" The way he gritted his teeth made Aisly just think he was cute.

She covered her mouth and laughed softly, taking Rupert's hand tightly, "Yeah, I'll wait."

The heart overflows a little like honey at the tip of the heart.
