Love Comes To Me
Chapter 515: The people are gone

But after thinking about it, the doorman said, "But I remember that this little girl went out today.

Suspiciously, he swept a glance at Hall and the others.

"That can't be, it smells so bad when we get rid of the mites that Miss Catherine specifically instructed us to come back after she was out." Hall sulked back. After a few snubs, the gatekeeper quickly let them go.

Once inside they found Catherine's villa B without any problems.

When they reached the door, Hall, fearing that the group might be stranded inside, rang the doorbell first, but there was no answer.

Hall gives a wink to both hands.

They took out the object they were carrying, which concealed some specialist instruments, and one of them skilfully operated the combination lock for a moment. Soon, several people entered the room without incident.

The three men split up and each went into a few rooms to search.

A minute later, they reassembled in the living room.

"There's no one over here."

"Not on my side either."

Hall nodded, while his eyes fell on the ashtray in the living room, which still had a little ash left in it, not emptied.

You can see that the house has been tidied up.

But the subtleties have left their mark.

Even more suspiciously, the place looks almost like the scene of an abandoned town and escape, so clean that there is not even a hint of life.

He pulled out his mobile phone and reported to Hector that people were gone.

After hearing Hall's report on the results, Hector squeezed his phone hard.

A glint of anger flashed in his eyes.

He was now absolutely certain that the group that had kidnapped Eloise had nothing to do with Catherine.

If she wasn't weak-minded, why was she running?

Hearing no sound from Hector's side, Hall inquired, "Prince, what do we do next?"

Hector said with a dark look on his face, "Track down Catherine and replace her by any means necessary!"

His voice was as low as zero, like the thick snow piled up on the snowy plateau, carrying a chill of eerie coldness of its own that made the heart grow faint. Hall's nerves also tightened and he agreed in a hushed voice.

Unlike the tense situation on this side, Eloise's side is quite relaxed.

Eloise doesn't know that Hector is checking out the gang, she now spends all her time with a reawakened Maryam.

At the hospital, Eloise enters the ward where Maryam is walking slowly, holding on to the wall, with the nurses keeping watch over her.

Happy to see Eloise come in, Maryam said, "Eloise, you're here!"

Eloise put the from the thermos down and smiled, "How are you feeling today, Mum?"

"It's a bit better than yesterday."

Eloise's eyes lit up with joy at the words.

She walked over and helped Maryam to sit down on the bed, "That's great Mum you're just healing now, you still need to rest."

The nurses helped set the table and served the chicken soup that Eloise had brought.

Eloise said thank you and took it.

"The doctor said you can have a little liquid food now, I asked my aunt at home to make some shredded chicken congee, Mum, try it." Test the temperature with a spoon and hand it to Maryam.

Maryam took a bite and said histrionically, "It's delicious."

"Then you eat more, I'll make it again tomorrow."

Eloise said as she gave Maryam a squeeze on her shoulder.

This body under her hands was warm, able to talk, walk and gaze at her with gentle eyes.

All persistence, Eloise feels, is useful.

Now that this is the case, there is nothing more she could ask for.

Maryam finished the small bowl of porridge with a good appetite, which gave Eloise a boost of confidence.

Already thinking about going back to the recipes.

After finishing her meal, Maryam patted her daughter's hand and asked, "Eloise, tell Mum about your life now."

She was curious to know how her daughter was doing during the time she was in a coma.

"I'm fine, life, work is going well, and now I have a baby and you're going to be a grandmother, Mum."

Eloise's voice is soft and sweet.

Maryam was so relieved, she was really glad she was still awake.

"Okay, okay, so how's Hector treating you?"

Eloise's smile grew a little bigger at the mention of Hector, "He was especially good, and I probably wouldn't have made it through the time you were in a coma if it wasn't for Hector.

He has helped me so much and I am so grateful to him. In the future, Mum, he will join me in honouring you."

Looking at her daughter's soaring eyebrows, Maryam was completely relieved.

Having met someone herself, she wanted her daughter to have a good life.

The people my daughter met did not disappoint her.

Maryam couldn't resist sniggering, "It seems Hector is really nice, you can't keep your mouth shut at the mention of him."

Eloise pursed her lips, a little embarrassed, "I mean it."

Seeing Eloise's blushing cheeks, Maryam patted her hand and said with relief, "Okay, Mum believes it, look at you and you're in a hurry."

"Mom, I'm telling you, Hector doesn't talk much, and he's always cold-faced, so anyone who sees him at first glance will feel particularly unapproachable, but then again, he's also particularly unapproachable." Eloise skinned up a bit, to Maryam's tears and laughter.

"It's important to look at his good points, and as long as he treats you well, none of that matters." Maryam persuaded from the sidelines.

Eloise hastened to assure him, "That's natural, we don't usually fight, you know why?"

"Why?" Maryam asked cooperatively.

"Because he's a lump of ice and can't even argue."

At the words, Eloise burst out laughing.

Maryam's heart was comforted by looking at such a lively daughter.

Thinking about the Rogers Group and the complexities of the Rogers family, Maryam asked with concern, "The Rogers family has such a large family business, is he usually free to spend time with you?"

Speaking of which, Eloise couldn't help but brag: "Yes, we go out regularly and Hector organises everything. I don't care about anything when I go out with him and he takes time out on the weekends and takes Solomon to amusement parks. hector is very family oriented, he's not like other men with successful careers, which I think is especially nice."

She was so eloquent, she couldn't stop talking.

When she finished, she found Maryam looking at her with a smile on her face.

Eloise, inexplicably shy, threw her arms around one of Maryam's and pouted, "Mum, you'll know from now on if you spend more time with him, don't be frightened by the rumours out there and his cold face." "No, Mum has heard you talk about him for so long, she thinks he's great." Maryam's eyebrows relaxed.

The two men talked some more, the inevitable mention of Josh came up and the atmosphere was inexplicably gloomy.

Eloise doesn't want to say this, but she can't help it.

Before she had no one to talk to, but now with a living mother, she really didn't want to have to bear this on her own.

"Mum, I really missed you when I was isolated and the persecution from the Thompson family was too much for me to ..."
