Love Comes To Me
Chapter 709: Miss me, huh?

"I don't want to go to school." Solomon uttered in a hoarse voice.

When the words came out, it shocked the two adults.

Was that what Solomon had been struggling with all these days?

If that was the case then that would be good.

Aisly stepped forward and asked tentatively, "Why did Solomon say that? Did your classmates bully you?"

The next moment, though, Solomon's words hit the pair right where their hearts were.

"They all have a mummy, I don't, I'm not like everyone else."

Solomon said, clutching the ceramic doll in his hand tightly.

Aisly couldn't help the tears that ran down the corners of her eyes at the words, she could relate to what Solomon was feeling inside.

It was like being pointed out to her before and told she was a wild child without a father, the hurt these vile words would cause, she understood.

Holding Solomon tightly in her arms, Aisly said, "Solomon is a good boy, not a wild child, you have a mummy and daddy.

And aunts and uncles, grandparents, we all love you very, very much, and we need to get better as soon as possible so we can go and see the people we want to see."

Before Aisly could finish her sentence, Solomon ran back into the room in a huff and slammed the door heavily behind him.

The two of them were at a loss as to what to do.

On the other side of the world, in a private hospital in England, Hector and Thomas were on the phone.

On the other end of the line, Hector and Thomas are on the phone, reporting carefully on what is happening at the company.

But Hector couldn't listen to him, all he could think about was Eloise's bloodied face that day.

He interrupted Thomas and said, "Well, that's it for today. Has there been any news from Miss Eloise in the last few days? Has she been better?"

Thomas sniffed and hastily put away the information in his hands and held up a few photos.

"Prince, according to our people, Miss Eloise is still recovering well, and has been busy with her rehab these days."

Seeing the photo across the room, Rowson was holding Eloise, the two interacting in such harmony.

How could he put up with this?

As Thomas looked on in amazement, Hector ripped the syringe from the back of his hand, and then the man disappeared.

He came straight into the doctor's office.

The doctor was writing a case and was startled to see Hector bursting in.

"... Prince... why are you out of bed? I remember there is still some of the medicine left to be administered ..."

Hector coldly ordered, "No need to treat, I want to be discharged, you write a list of the medicine you need to use and send it to Ramm." His tone was unquestionable.

Hector felt as if he had become an invalid as he lay in a hospital bed for the past few days.

The doctor didn't dare retort, and handed Hector the medication order straight away.

He then drove back to Cerdic's house.

Ramm and Cerdic were still searching the area where Marian had disappeared.

But they still found nothing.

They had searched the surrounding residential buildings and the Bergerian's possible hiding places, but still nothing.

When the two men saw Hector standing behind them, they both stared.

Then hastily standing in front of Hector, Cerdic spoke up, "Boss, weren't you at the hospital? Why are you back all of a sudden ..."

Hector took a sip of water and then said, "I'm going back to France, so I'll leave it to you two to keep an eye on the UK and keep me informed of any news."

The two of you will keep an eye on the UK and keep me informed." With these words, Hector looked at Ramm and ordered, "Book a flight to France as soon as possible."

When he heard that Hector was leaving, Ramm said with difficulty, "Prince, you're not well yet, if Bergerian replaces out about your movements, I'm afraid he'll do something against you." Cerdic also chimed in, "Yes, boss, now that Bergerian is in the dark and we are in the light, there is no guarantee that this man will not do something sinister.

What's more, you are still wounded, you should not rush back to France, first recuperate for some time, and act as a deterrent to Bergerian."

In England, the Bergerian's power was not to be underestimated.

If he had known Hector was leaving, he would have put obstacles in his way.

Hector interrupted them with a wave of his hand and insisted, "My mind is made up, no more words are needed, I'll leave it all to you two here in England, don't let me down." Seeing that they could not be stopped, Ramm said nothing more.

An hour later, Cerdic dropped Hector off at the airport.

As Hector was about to board the plane, there was a hiccup.

Bergerian had arranged for some of his best men to intercept Hector.

However, with Hector's skills, even with his injuries, he was no match for ten more men.

Three hours passed and the plane landed smoothly in France.

As soon as Hector stepped off the plane, he hurried to the hospital.

To see the person he had been thinking about.

When he arrived at the door of Eloise's ward, he saw her struggling to walk on the ground floor.

Her hand was over her stomach and she was struggling to take one step at a time.

She looked good, though.

The floor of the ward was slippery and Eloise stumbled and was about to fall to the ground.

She closed her eyes in despair, fearing that if she fell, the wound would reopen.

But instead of the pain she had imagined, a warm, familiar embrace took her place.

Eloise opened her eyes and saw Hector's face.

She was falling into his arms in an extremely ambiguous position, so close that they could hear each other's heartbeats.

She blushed and tried to withdraw from Hector's arms, but the man held her tightly.

Eloise's testosterone-filled breath sprayed across her face, and for a moment Eloise didn't know how to react.

The next moment, Eloise's feet were off the ground and she was picked up by his arms and placed on the bed.

Once back in bed, Eloise immediately shrank under the covers and asked in a whisper, "Have you been okay?"

She had thought that she and he would never cross paths again since the last incident, but she had never expected to see him again.

Even though she had been in contact with him many times, Eloise's heart was still beating much faster at this moment.

Hearing her words, Hector smiled with his eyebrows and asked in a somewhat impish manner, "What? Did you miss me?"

At these words, Eloise gave him a scornful look and did not say anything.

Turning her head away, she no longer looked at him.

Sensing the change of mood in his petite partner, Hector could not help but laugh and carefully peeled an apple and handed it to Eloise.

He then said in a serious manner, "Something happened abroad, I'll go and take care of it. By the way, how is your body recovering now? Does the wound still hurt?" The concern in Hector's eyes was so warm that Eloise was a little embarrassed.

After taking the apple and biting a small piece, she said, "The wound is recovering quite well, just that I can't do any strenuous exercise yet."
