Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 710: Not good at all
Saying that Eloise paused, followed by, "But I'm really a bit bored with staying in the hospital."
With those words, Eloise assumed the look of a victim, aggrieved.
Hector took in her little expression and found it very cute.
He thoughtfully took a glass of water and tried to give it to her, but Eloise dodged it.
Her hand accidentally touched Hector's wound, causing him to let out a cold breath.
At the sound, Eloise hurriedly withdrew her hand and, seeing that Hector's face did not look well, asked with concern, "Did I hurt you, are you hurt?" Hector smiled and shook his head, "I'm fine, just a little bruise."
Although Hector had an attitude of not caring, Eloise could sense that things were definitely not as simple as he said.
But she didn't ask too many questions, since he didn't want to talk about it, she didn't ask, but she was still a little worried.
For the next ten minutes, neither of them spoke, and the only sound that echoed in the room was Eloise eating her apple. Eloise was the only one making any noise in the large room and she was a little overwhelmed for a moment.
In the next second, though, the two spoke again at the same time.
"You ..."
"That's right..."
Seeing this Hector took a tissue aside, wiped the stain from the corner of her mouth and said softly, "You first."
Caught by the tenderness in his eyes, Eloise unconsciously tilted her head and kept staring at him.
Hector didn't duck either, but stared straight back at her.
Space and time seemed to be silent for a second, and through their eyes, their hearts met for a moment.
But then someone comes along to break the sweetness of the moment.
The sound of the nurse opening the door brought Eloise's thoughts back to the sight of Hector's handsome face right in front of her eyes and she wanted to burrow right into the ground. It was a shame that she could be so mesmerised.
Looking at her shy face, Hector couldn't help but laugh.
The nurse at the side saw their interaction and was puzzled.
Didn't this Miss Eloise already have a fiancé? Why did a man appear now?
Could she be cheating on him?
However, she did not dare to ask this question, she was just a little nurse, so it was better to do less than nothing.
This little nurse was new to the hospital, so naturally she didn't know about their relationship.
When she saw Hector's face, she couldn't help but fall in love with him. His features were like the carving of a knife, and his body exuded a powerful aura that was only found in TV dramas. Hector noticed the burning gaze of the nurse and was somewhat displeased, asking in a cold voice, "Didn't you say you wanted to check? Why hasn't it started yet?"
When he said this, Hector did not collect his aura.
The powerful pressure caused the young nurse to forget what she was supposed to do for a moment.
But she quickly reacted and did not dare to hesitate.
It took only five minutes to complete all of Eloise's examinations, and she left the room as if on the run. When she left the room, the nurse was still stroking her heart and gasping for breath.
This man was too scary, treating her and Eloise differently.
Knowing that Hector had done it on purpose, Eloise couldn't help but say, "Why were you so mean?
"I don't like women looking at me other than you."
Hector's voice was light, but it made Eloise's cheeks flush instantly and she changed the subject, "By the way, I was just going to ask you how Solomon was, is he okay?"
She vaguely remembered the strange look in Solomon's eyes the day she left.
For some reason, it still hurts every time she thinks about it.
Fearing that Eloise might be worried about Solomon when her own health was not yet well, Hector replied, "Solomon is fine in China now, you don't have to worry about him, the most important thing now is to get well." But in fact, Solomon was not well at all.
From the day he finished talking to Aisly, Solomon became even more self-absorbed.
He would spend the whole day locked up in his room, much to the anxiety of the Rogers family.
Rupert and Aisly had no choice but to take him out as much as possible to try and distract him.
But everywhere Solomon went, he kept clutching the ceramic doll.
He didn't say much to Rupert and the others, but just sat quietly by.
Even when he went to places that had previously been of particular interest to him, Solomon just acted like a doll.
He was so absorbed in his own world that he didn't even give them a look.
This was also a source of worry for Rupert, who spoke to Hector on the phone, but to no avail.
Today Solomon does not want to talk to anyone and sits in front of the window every day.
The worry in Hector's eyes when he talks about Solomon is caught by Eloise, who can sense that Hector is not telling the truth.
In fact, she didn't have to guess to know that Solomon would not be happy.
No one would be happy to know that they had been betrayed by the person they loved most.
Not to mention the fact that Solomon had trusted Eloise so much and clung to her so much before.
After a long silence, Eloise said, "When I get well, I'll go back to see Solomon."
She really felt sorry for Solomon, for if it hadn't been for him, that lively child would have had a good and happy life.
At first Hector was a bit surprised, but he quickly responded and readily agreed, "Solomon would be very happy if he knew about this."
At that moment, Hector's mobile phone rang.
Hector glanced at it and it was a call from home.
Since Eloise was here, Hector wanted to go out and answer it, but the look in her eyes made him feel a bit uncomfortable.
There was a strong look of worry in those eyes.
Hector could only pick up the phone with a stiff upper lip and said, "What's wrong?"
The voice on the other end was Hector's mother's, "Hector, please talk to Solomon, he's been locked in his room all day and all night, not eating or drinking, and I'm really worried something will happen to him." Rupert was equally anxious, "Brother, can you come back, Solomon needs you so much right now, we really don't know what to say."
The phone call was loud enough for Eloise, who was standing by, to hear it clearly.
She hadn't expected Solomon to reach such a serious state.
Immediately, she snatched the phone from Hector's hand and said, "Uncle and aunt, this is Eloise, is Solomon with you now? May I speak to him?"
The Rogers family were naturally delighted to hear Eloise's voice, and Hector's mother, not daring to hesitate, replied, "Yes, yes, wait for me, I'll go and knock on Solomon's door."
