Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 711: Going to see Mummy as fast as possible
Hector's parents swept away the low mood they had been in and hurriedly trotted to the first floor.
Hector's mother knocked on the door and said in a softer voice, "Solomon, Mummy's on the phone and wants to talk to you, come on out!" Inside, Solomon subconsciously stood up, but then thought of something else and finally sat back down, looking torn.
Hector's mother knocked on the door outside for half a day, but there was no answer, and her heart was anxious.
"What's wrong with this kid... why isn't he coming out!"
Eloise on the other side of the phone waited belatedly for Solomon's answer and only heard Hector's mother's voice on the other side of the phone. She heard something vaguely and panicked, asking in a hurry, "Auntie, is Solomon refusing to answer?"
Hector's mother sniffed and sighed, her heart felt like it was being pulled together as she thought of how lost Solomon had been all this time. "Well, it's probably because of the autism."
At those words, Eloise sat down on the hospital bed lost in thought, her eyes full of loss.
She pursed her lips, but didn't know where to begin.
Her head hung low and she didn't know what to think.
Solomon still refuses to forgive himself.
On the other side of the room, Hector saw Eloise's distraught look and could not bear it.
A beautiful, gentle person like her should have a smile on her lips and stars in her eyes every day.
Hector stepped forward and took the phone from Eloise's hand and said, "Mum, since Solomon won't talk to Eloise, just tell him that Eloise isn't married to anyone else, that she hasn't divorced me and that she hasn't abandoned him.
And, right now, is very badly injured and is being treated in hospital. He's so close to never seeing his mummy again, and if Solomon is still fooling around like this, making Eloise worry about him even though she's injured, Eloise's body can't take it."
Hector's words hit Hector's mother's head like a heavy blow.
Hector's mother froze and tried to ask for something.
As if he had expected her to do so, Hector said, "Mum, you don't need to worry about anything else, just pass this on to Solomon for me."
Hector's mother didn't ask any more questions and walked back to Solomon's door again and relayed what Hector had just said to Solomon.
"Solomon listen to Grandma, Mummy is badly injured now, almost lost her life and has managed to stay alive and just wants to talk to you. Just don't make a scene, okay? If you keep this up, you really won't see Mummy again, and Mummy hasn't abandoned you."
Solomon sat on the edge of the bed with anxious heart and stood up in a hurry to open the door.
His face was full of anxiety.
Hector's mother was amazed to see Solomon coming out of the doorway.
I didn't expect Hector's method to work so well, but Solomon was really out.
Solomon took the phone, still thinking about what Hector's mother had just said about being seriously injured.
With a worried look in her watery eyes, she subconsciously asked while biting her finger, "Mummy, Grandma said you were seriously injured, it was Solomon who shouldn't have gotten angry with Mummy just now, Solomon apologises to Mummy."
When Eloise heard Solomon's familiar voice, she couldn't help but curl her lips.
Luckily, he was willing to pay attention to himself and said softly and soothingly, "It's okay, Mummy is fine now, Solomon didn't do anything wrong, Mummy has been neglecting you, and Mummy apologises to you too." Despite what Eloise said, Solomon was still reassured and continued to shush Eloise about her condition.
"Mummy, how is your health? Is it hard, Solomon has heard that injuries can be very painful and hard."
Even if Eloise was not feeling well, when she heard Solomon's thoughtful words, she could not say that she felt bad.
She said, "Don't worry about Solomon, Mummy is almost well and she's in good spirits.
There was silence on the other end of the line.
Suddenly, Solomon spoke in a muffled voice, "Mummy, Solomon has been missing you a lot these days."
A child's voice is always soft, the most endearing and heart-warming.
Eloise knew exactly how Solomon felt and her heart softened, her guilt deepening.
It was because she had not done the right thing as a mother, had not given him enough warmth and care, that Solomon was in the situation he was in now.
After taking a deep breath, Eloise held back the tears in the corners of her eyes.
"Everything is Mummy's fault, right now Mummy is not fully recovered and cannot go back to see Solomon, when Mummy is well, she will definitely go back to see Solomon at the first opportunity, okay?" Solomon's eyes suddenly lit up with an idea and he said, "Mummy can't go back to see Solomon, but Solomon can go and see Mummy, as long as Mummy agrees to Solomon going to France."
Solomon's words were so full of expectation that Eloise couldn't bear to say no.
She nodded and said with a smile, "Yes, Mummy agrees, as long as you come."
It was a very dull and boring time for Eloise in the hospital.
The only people she saw every day were the doctors and nurses, and even Sweety didn't see much of her.
After all, it wouldn't be good for a child to touch her wounds if they were alive and kicking.
She couldn't help but miss Solomon's face when she had a few moments to spare.
When she agreed, the loss and sadness on Solomon's face was swept away and replaced by a cheer.
"Yes! Mummy is waiting for Solomon in France, and Solomon will go to see Mummy as fast as he can."
Hector's parents, who had watched the whole thing from the sidelines, were relieved and their faces were much lighter.
Only Eloise could untie the knot in Solomon's heart.
It was good to know that their grandson, who had been at the forefront of their minds, was happy.
Eloise then talked to Solomon a lot more and hung up when the time was right.
The smile on her face was unmistakable, and she was clearly in a good mood, with a happy look in her eyes.
Hector, seeing how happy Eloise was, was also overcome with emotion and raised an eyebrow, "That little Solomon is coming? You're okay with that?"
"Yeah." Eloise replied with a smile.
As the words left his mouth, Hector's mind automatically conjured up a picture of Solomon's lively and delightful face, and he sighed with some regret, "I haven't seen Solomon for a while either, and I've missed him." Eloise saw that Hector, who was usually cold and tough, would one day show such an expression and say such things.
She couldn't help but snicker, her moon-like eyes mesmerising as she teased, "It's okay if you really miss him, with Solomon's personality he's probably clamouring to come over today, so it won't be more than a few days." Seeing her smile, Hector curled his lips slightly, his eyes full of gentle earnestness.
Nodding his head, he said, "Well, there's no rush."
