Love Comes To Me
Chapter 720: Will you sleep with me then?

How could Eloise not see it when Rowson gave such a lame excuse?

There seemed to be an extra layer of separation between them; they could see and hear each other, but they just couldn't get close enough to touch. She spoke up and replied, "Fine, I won't see you off."

Rowson nodded and turned to leave the hospital.

Seeing Rowson leave, Solomon cocked his head and thought, still clueless, so he asked, "Mummy, what were you and Uncle talking about?"

Eloise smiled with pursed lips, her eyes curved like the moon in the sky at night, gentle and beautiful.

Holding Solomon's little hand, she replied, "Nothing, Uncle just came to have a word with Mummy."

Solomon nodded thoughtfully and couldn't help but glance more in the direction Rowson had left.

In the days since Rowson's arrival, Hector, who often came to the hospital to chat with Eloise, had also disappeared.

Eloise was suddenly a little uncomfortable with Hector's disappearance and struggled for a long time before asking, "Solomon, your daddy hasn't been around lately, do you know where he's been?" "Daddy seems to be sick these days and has been resting at home, so he can't come to the hospital to see Mummy." Solomon said glutinously.

As soon as Eloise heard this, her heart began to waver.

She was almost well enough now, but at this time Hector was sick again.

She had been worried about this all morning, and finally decided to go and see Hector herself.

When it was time for lunch, Solomon and Sweety were picked up by the driver and after a change of clothes in the bathroom, Eloise left the hospital in a hurry.

Hector had left some money for Solomon and Sweety to buy snacks, which came in handy.

Eloise hailed a taxi and got in, "Master, go to Ptarmigan Road."

Within twenty minutes, the taxi pulled up steadily at the side of the road.

Eloise hurriedly got out and walked along the road, eventually stopping in front of a villa.

She vaguely remembered that Hector had spoken to her about the code and, from a vague memory, Eloise entered it with a tentative attitude, not expecting the door to open. Eloise enters the house and replaces no sign of Hector in the living room or kitchen.

After calling out to him several times, Eloise saw that the door to the first floor had been left open and went upstairs.

His back was to the window, the sunlight was gentle on his body and a grim wound on his shoulder looked out of place.

With medicine and cotton swabs in hand, he seemed intent on treating the wound himself.

Since Hector had been running around for Eloise recently, he hadn't paid much attention to his injury.

By now it was already a little inflamed.

Looking at Eloise's figure, Hector was frozen for a moment.

She froze in place, he was injured?

She rushed forward to take the medicine and cotton swabs from Hector's hand, frowned at the hideous wound and looked up slightly to ask, "How did you get hurt?" Faced with her questioning, Hector looked like a child caught in the act of doing something wrong.

Looking somewhat at a loss for words, he changed the subject and asked, "What about you? How did you get out of the hospital, you're still wounded."

Knowing that he was avoiding the subject, Eloise sighed.

Dipping a cotton swab into a small amount of medicinal wine, she applied it to the wound.

With a slightly reproachful tone, she said, "I'm not much of a problem anymore, but you, why didn't you tell me when you were hurt?"

Hector sniffed and tried to put his shirt back on, not really caring, "It's not a big injury, I'll just put some medicine on it myself."

Eloise frowned and stopped him dead in his tracks, applying the medicine without resistance.

"What did you do to that? It's such a deep cut."

"It's nothing, you don't have to worry about it, it'll heal in no time, but you're the one who's running to me instead of getting well in hospital."

Hector lied without moving, concealing the matter.

That said, he did worry about Eloise's health, but his heart involuntarily flushed with warmth and a hint of sweetness.

He was happy that Eloise had taken him to heart.

Just then Solomon came back from outside with Sweety, naturally having heard what Hector had just said.

Solomon couldn't bear the thought of Daddy talking so lightly about such a serious injury and immediately egged on beside him, "Daddy would definitely get better faster if Mummy stayed." He pouted and stood by obediently.

Hearing this, Eloise's ears flushed quickly and she spoke softly, "Solomon, don't talk nonsense."

Hector then looked at the shy Eloise and, just as Solomon had said, it was as if the bruises on her body didn't hurt as much.

But to ease the somewhat awkward atmosphere, he coughed and looked at Solomon with a serious face and a stern tone.

"Solomon, you and Sweety go outside, Mummy and I have something to talk about."

Solomon had an "I understand" look on his face and as he ran to the door he added, "Daddy, Mummy needs to catch up."

As soon as the childish voice fell, the little one was gone from the door of the room.

Sweety didn't know what was going on and just ran off after Solomon's bottom.

Eloise looked up, feeling a little hot at her cheeks, and said with a scowl, "Put your clothes on while I get you a glass of water."

He was about to leave, but Hector took her hand and said in a rare show of weakness, "You said you were going to give me medicine, but now you're leaving?"

He was a little too strong for Eloise to struggle, but her wrist suddenly felt hot and burning.

Looking directly into the man's eyes again, she instantly felt her body heating up rapidly.

However, being so close, Eloise could also feel the burning breath on his breath and she frowned.

Lifting a hand to the man's forehead, the cool, delicate hand made Hector feel cold inside.

The man was already feverish, and he was still so immodest.

"It's burning up like this, and you're still being brave."

Eloise's tone was worried and complaining.

The words fell and her hand withdrew, then she spoke, "Why don't you lie down and take a nap? I'll go and boil some water for you."

Hector's beautiful eyes were fixed on Eloise in front of him, and his voice was husky and seductive because of the high fever.

"Then will you sleep with me?"

There was a bright light under his eyes, like a star quenching in the night sky.

It was a simple statement that made Eloise's heart skip a few beats.

Feeling the heat on her face, Eloise turned her face away in shame and feigned annoyance, "No!"

Her tone was firm and non-negotiable.

Hector had already guessed the end, but when the words actually came out of Eloise's mouth, there was a flash of loss in his heart and his eyes darkened.

The next moment, he raised his eyes and gazed deep into the woman in front of him, the corners of his mouth lifting in a wandering curve as he teased, "Just kidding, you can sleep in the guest room next door."
