Love Comes To Me
Chapter 721: Cooking for him

At the sound of his voice, Eloise nodded.

Hector also lay down dutifully and Eloise tucked Hector in.

Only when he had fallen into a deep sleep did she tiptoe downstairs.

When they reached the stairs, they heard the sound of two people scuffling downstairs, the Rupert's who had dropped off Solomon and Bebe. Rupert, who had heard the noise, looked upstairs and stopped moving his hands.

Only to be drilled by Aisly and a crisp slap resounded in the living room.

The servants all froze, it was not a light slap.

Rupert drew a cold breath and was about to say something when he was unexpectedly scolded by Aisly.

"You knew I was going to hit you, so why didn't you duck? Is that so stupid?"

The tone was fierce, but more full of guilt.

Rupert couldn't help but lose a good deal of his anger at hearing this, and dangled his cheek with Aisly's fingerprints on it.

"What's wrong with that, it doesn't hurt, do you want another slap?"

The corners of Eloise's mouth curled up in a small curve; these two were a joyous couple.

She walked across to the two men and sat down demurely, and after all, with outsiders present, they settled down.

Aisly looked at Eloise worriedly and said, "Is brother okay?"

Eloise smiled and responded, "It's fine."

But looked at Rupert's flushed face and shook his head.

"But that slap in the face from you could really ..."

At those words, Aisly glanced up at the blinding red on the left side of Rupert's face and frowned lightly.

But his tone was raw, "He's stupid himself and doesn't know how to hide."

"Eh? What's that you say..."

Seeing that the two were about to argue again, Eloise hastened to change the subject.

"When are you going back?"

"What? Is this your sister-in-law's way of kicking us out? Is it because you think it's inconvenient for you and brother to have some things to do while we're here?"

Rupert spoke in a teasing tone, grabbing a nut from the fruit tray and feeding it into his mouth.

Eloise's cheeks, already thin-skinned, flushed again at this comment.

Luckily, Rupert didn't go on, but changed the subject and teased, "My brother hasn't eaten much these days because he's worried about his sister-in-law, can't you see he's lost a lot of weight?" He deliberately made it sound serious.

The eyes kept an eye on Eloise's reaction.

Eloise frowned at that, the man kept running to the hospital even though he had an injury of his own, what a pain in the ass.

Dropping her eyes, it was slow worry and heartache.

The scene was caught in full by Rupert, and his heart was glad.

Although my sister-in-law has not yet remembered what happened before, the emotions will not change.

He didn't want to help the stuffy older brother and wondered when he would get his sister-in-law back.

Then he pretended to speak without thinking, "But well, brother likes to eat what you make most, sister-in-law, so why don't you cook? I'll make sure he'll be well in no time."

He didn't mean to go on, but the meaning was clear.

Eloise subconsciously tried to stand up, but Aisly whacked Rupert and spoke in a bad voice, "What's wrong with you? Sister-in-law is also a patient now, and she's still injured, why are you cooking?"

At these words, Rupert reacted, scratched his head and said apologetically, "Sister-in-law, I'm sorry, it's my bad consideration, I'll just ask the kitchen to make some porridge."

But by now Eloise was on her feet and smiled, "It's okay, I'm not that delicate."

With that, he turned and walked towards the kitchen.

Hector should eat more now that he's injured, and since he likes her cooking, there's no harm in her being tired.

"Sister-in-law!"

Aisly glared at Rupert and immediately went after him, saying worriedly, "You're a patient too, if you open your wound, it will affect you physically, just leave the cooking to me." Eloise brushed down the hand on her wrist and gave a slight shake of her head.

"I can still do it as long as I have someone to help watch the time to turn off the fire, don't worry."

Said with a wink.

Aisly was still a little uneasy, but knowing Eloise's nature, she didn't stand in the way.

Thinking it was still early and Hector would wake up so soon, Eloise went online to learn a few nutritious meals that would be good for the patient.

Cut up the ingredients and set aside.

Later in the evening, Eloise tied on her apron and took out the prepared ingredients, carefully following the steps to steam them.

From time to time, the maids tried to come forward to help, but Eloise refused.

She still wanted him to eat the dishes she had made herself.

He instructed the maid to keep an eye on the fire, explained what time to turn it off and went to bed in the guest room.

In the middle of the night Hector wakes up feeling a little hungry and the housekeeper brings Eloise's simmering soup to his room.

Seeing the food in the bowl, Hector frowned and returned indifferently, "Take it down, no appetite."

The butler was in no hurry and said respectfully, "This was boiled by Miss Eloise herself, who did every step of the process herself."

As soon as the words left his mouth, Hector's long-dimmed eyes lit up.

"Serve a bowl."

The tone was one of undisguised delight.

Smelling the soup, Hector worked up an appetite and drank every drop.

At the end, there was a bit of a pursed lip.

The butler couldn't help but laugh softly at the sight, "Miss Eloise would be delighted if she knew the prince had such a good appetite."

At that, Hector's mouth curled slightly as he inquired, "Is she asleep?"

"Well, it's already resting in the guest room." The butler answered truthfully.

"What about Sweety and Solomon?" Hector asked again in passing.

"Little Miss was picked up by the Darlington family during the night and the little prince has gone to bed."

With that the butler took the dishes and left.

Hector then quietly got out of bed and made his way to the door of Eloise's room.

A hand on the door handle, a gentle twist and the door opens with a click.

Hector couldn't help but have a moment of surprise that she had left the door unlocked.

At that moment Solomon heard a noise and poked his head out from the side, asking sleepily, "Daddy, what are you doing?"

At the sound of voices, Hector made a hasty gesture of silence and pulled Solomon over.

"Shhh, let's go and see how Mummy is sleeping, quietly, if we wake her up, we won't be able to leave."

Solomon came to life at the sound of his voice and followed him in, following Hector's movements.

In the moonlight, Eloise lies peacefully on her side, the bright moonlight casting a soft glow over her face. Long lashes fell a shadow across her eyelids.

Solomon leaned over the window, staring at Eloise's sleeping face and whispered, "Daddy, Mummy is so pretty!" "Yes, your mummy is the most beautiful person in the world."

With those words, Hector rubbed Solomon's head, followed by father and son quietly retreating from the room.
