Love Comes To Me
Chapter 813: Some suspicions

Hector lowered his eyes to calm himself; indeed, he was the one who had gotten excited.

With Eloise still in their hands, the most important thing right now is to keep quiet in order to replace a chance to turn the tables. Glancing at Rowson on the stage, Hector clenched his palms, not showing any more than a hint of emotion. Mingle and dance.

The time was slowly approaching eleven o'clock and it looked like the party was coming to an end.

Hector's eyes darkened for a moment as he glanced at Bergerian, who was talking to his guests in the distance. Leave silently with Thomas and lurk secretly inside the car park.

Hector sat with a stoic face in the driver's seat, watching the hour hand on his watch slowly point to twelve o'clock.

A few minutes passed and the car park was in an uproar.

Hector lifted his eyes and saw four bodyguards neatly leading the way, with Rowson flanked in the middle.

Reaching the car, he was about to open the door when he was stopped by a gesture from Bergerian.

In the next moment, the man beside Bergerian himself stepped forward, opened the door for Rowson and escorted him to his car.

It is clear how much importance Bergerian places on Rowson.

Rowson lifted his legs into the car, his gaze habitually looking off into the distance as he took the driver's seat.

Hector ducked his head slightly and tugged on the seat belt on his left hand side, naturally avoiding eye contact.

Rowson then drove off, flanked by an entourage that was exaggeratedly divided on either side, bowing to see him off.

Hector's hand on the steering wheel snapped hard, the bruises on the back of his hand rippling.

Hector wanted to tear Rowson apart when he thought of how hateful he looked on stage.

Seeing that Rowson's car was about to go out of sight, Hector immediately followed and started the car, preparing to leave in the other lane. When a car burst into the car park, Hector braked in a hurry, and the ear-splitting sound echoed through the car park.

Bergerian was about to leave when such a great commotion drew his eyes towards this side.

A pang of annoyance went through Hector's mind, damn it.

There was a tap on the window and Hector lowered it and looked over at Bergerian with a smile, "Mr Bergerian, it is a pleasure to see you again."

Bergerian nodded, an inquisitive gaze sweeping unobtrusively across the interior of his car.

"It's been a long time since the dinner and why haven't you guys left yet, are you in some kind of trouble?"

Hector pinched his brow and leaned back in his chair, a hint of chaos in his eyes, "No, it's just that I'm not up to drinking and I'm waiting for my driver to come over, so I'm really sorry to have bothered you."

In fact, he basically didn't drink, and the glasses of red wine were replaced with drinks by Thomas in the banqueting hall just now.

As for waiting for the driver, it was more of a random excuse.

Bergerian gave a smile, "It seems the driver is not very useful for making you wait so long, so fire him."

With that, he beckoned to the side and said to one of the bodyguards, "You go and see this gentleman off."

Hector waved his hand, "Excuse me, Mr Bergerian, I think my driver will be here soon..."

"It's a small matter, there's no need to worry about it, just let me arrange for someone to see you off."

Seeing his insistence, Hector had no choice but to follow suit, "Then I'll have to trouble your bodyguard to take me to Andre Manor."

The bodyguard stood outside the driver's door and gestured "please" to him.

Hector got out of the car pretending to be a little dizzy and got into the back seat under Bergerian's gaze.

"Make sure you deliver this gentleman." Bergerian ordered the bodyguard.

The car slowly pulled away from the car park and Hector's eyes narrowed slightly as he watched Bergerian, who was staring at his car in the rear view mirror, moving away. This Bergerian, obviously, still has doubts about him.

"All the wines at the dinner today were good and Mr Bergerian's reception was really worth a visit."

Hector deliberately communicates with Thomas in Italian.

Thomas smiled and spoke in pure Italian, "I think so too, in all the receptions I've followed Mr. Bergerian to, this is the first time I've seen such pomp and circumstance." Hector did not move to look at the bodyguard driving in front of him.

Although the bouncer's face was hidden in the darkness, the rest of his vision could be seen constantly glancing backwards.

Bergerian deliberately sent his own bodyguard to take him home, so how could Hector not know that Bergerian had an ulterior motive?

On the face of it, it's good intentions, but in reality it's just monitoring him.

Along the way, Hector talks to Thomas in a nonchalant manner, fluent in Italian so that the bodyguard has no doubt.

The car slowly made its way up the panoramic road, and Hector closed his eyes and stopped talking.

In his mind, however, he kept recalling what had just happened at the banquet.

With Rowson now joining the Bergerian, is Eloise now in the hands of the Bergerian?

He dared not think....

Hector's strong arms rested against the edge of the window and lifted his eyes to look out at the inky colour of the window in contemplation. The car finally slows to a stop halfway up the hill, in front of a house hidden in the darkness.

A few stars of light can be seen faintly in the shelter of the trees.

The bouncer respectfully approached and opened the door, Hector got out of the car and walked straight to the front door.

Thomas followed him and naturally took his coat.

Hector loosened his tie and rang the doorbell with a natural movement, and the faces of the two men were reflected on the monitor.

The exquisitely carved doors opened in response and the two men walked in one after the other.

The bodyguard behind them watched the two men's movements closely and watched them go inside for a while before getting into the car and leaving. Inside the hotel, at the entrance of a luxury suite, four bodyguards hold the door of the room.

The bodyguard who had just been the driver entered the room, saluted and bowed his head respectfully.

Bergerian sits on a seat in the middle of the room, his spine straight.

His arm relaxed on the armrest, he looked at the man in front of him and asked in a raised voice, "Has the man been delivered to Andre Manor?"

"Yes, it was delivered, and I watched them both go in."

The bouncer replied in a firm voice.

Bergerian played with the trigger finger in his hand and asked again, "Did they say anything yet?"

Upon hearing this, the bodyguard said truthfully, "The two men were complimenting the luxury of our reception all the way, but other than that, there was no valid information." When he finished, the room fell silent and Bergerian stared at him for a long time.

"Keep your head up."

The bodyguard instantly looked up and met Bergerian's gaze.

"Good, one's eyes do not deceive, well done."

The corners of Bergerian's mouth curled up and his gaze was so lurid that he dared not look straight at them, "Go down."

He then relaxed back against the back of the chair, narrowed his eyes and brought the cigar into his mouth as the bodyguard next to him stepped forward to light it.
