Love Comes To Me
Chapter 986: So eccentric

Eloise told Edgar what Earlene meant.

Edgar was ecstatic to hear this.

Eloise couldn't help but lose her smile as she could feel his excitement even through the phone.

"Eloise, thank you." Edgar was serious about his thanks..

"You're welcome."

Having settled his own personal affairs, Edgar then remembered to care for her, "Is everything all right at home?"

"It's fine." Eloise turned her head to look at Solomon in the hospital bed, "Something's happened to Solomon and I might not be able to get over to Kyoto that quickly, so my mother will be in trouble with you." "What's wrong with Solomon?" Edgar trailed off anxiously.

"Fell and cracked my head, now in hospital."

Eloise, fearing his big worry, added: "It's nothing serious, just take a few days to recuperate."

A child breaking his head in a fall is alarming, even if it's nothing serious.

Edgar told his parents about it.

Brimlad was distraught, "How did you fall down? Is there anything wrong?"

"Eloise is saying it's fine, but you know Eloise and it's possible she's lying to us so we don't worry."

Brimlad thought about it and turned to her husband Baggott, "Baggott, why don't we take a trip to City J and check it out, sooner or later anyway?"

Baggott nodded, "You're right. This time to see Solomon and visit the Rogers family on the way."

"I'll go with you." Edgar said.

"It's a busy time for the company, so you don't have to go, your mother and I will be fine." Baggott didn't want him to delay his work.

Edgar didn't insist, "That's fine, then I'll have the driver take you there when we get there."

Baggott and Brimlad didn't tell Eloise that they were going to City J, but went secretly.

Eloise, who has been kept in the dark, is at this moment reading a book with Solomon, and occasionally she patiently teaches him words that he does not know. Hector walked into the ward and the corners of his mouth turned up at the heartwarming sight of the two of them, mother and son, sitting against the bed reading intently. He walked gently over to it.

Eloise and Solomon were watching so intently that neither of them noticed him coming.

Until -

"Is it interesting?"

The sudden sound startled Eloise, she rubbed her chest and looked up, giving him a feint glare, "Why are you walking without a sound, it scares the hell out of me."

Hector reached out to help her smooth the stray strands of hair from her cheeks behind her ears, "You guys are looking too hard."

"Daddy." Solomon called out good-naturedly.

His eyes moved to the little one's still somewhat pale face and his brow furrowed slightly, "Is it getting better?"

Solomon flashed a wide smile, "Yes."

Hector looked at the gauze tied around his head and his eyes sank a few notches, "Be careful when you play in the future, don't fall again."

Solomon nodded, "Yeah."

"Are you done?" Eloise asked.

"Hmm."

Eloise frowned slightly, "It's still so early in the morning for you to be off work, would that be a bad influence? And didn't Rupert say he was busy this time of year, aren't you going to help him out?" "He has an assistant."

The implication is that he doesn't want to help.

Eloise couldn't help but feel a little sorry for Rupert, having a brother like that would have been too much for anyone else.

"Forget about today, from tomorrow, you might as well help him out, Aisly is so pregnant, let him spend more time with Aisly."

As a sister-in-law, she should feel for Aisly, if not for Rupert.

Hector did not make a sound.

Eloise continued, "I can appreciate how hard it is for Aisly right now and the fact that I'm fine physically and you don't have to be with me all the time." "I got it."

He knew that her heart went out to both Rupert and his wife, and that if he didn't do what she said, she would probably repeat it every day afterwards.

It was better to listen to her than to let her worry about other people's business.

Eloise laughed, "You're going to have to do what you say."

Hector said "hmmm" and then turned the tables and asked, "To pick up Sweety?"

"What about Solomon?"

"I've asked my aunt at home to come over."

Once Auntie came over, Hector and Eloise left the hospital and drove to Sweety's nursery.

...

At the end of kindergarten, Sweety sits dutifully in her seat and waits for her daddy and mummy to pick her up.

At that moment, a little boy came running over to her, half on the table, staring at her with big blinking eyes.

"Sweety, why isn't your mommy here today?"

"Mummy has to stay with brother when he's hurt." Sweety milked back.

The boy said "Oh" and didn't ask any more questions.

Instead, a little girl came over and said with a smile, "Sweety, your daddy and mommy are so biased and only like your brother."

As soon as Sweety heard this, she immediately retorted, "No way! Mommy and Daddy love me too."

"So why aren't they coming today?"

"I've told you, my brother is injured and they can't come."

Impatience appeared on Sweety's face, "My grandmother will do."

The little girl said, "Oh," and then asked, "Then why doesn't your grandmother take care of your brother? So that your daddy and mommy can come?" "I...," Sweety tried to retort, but found she didn't know how.

Because she seems to be right.

"Sweety, don't be sad, oh." The little girl said soothingly.

"I'm not sad." Sweety exclaimed, "Daddy and Mommy and they love me too."

When she finished, she stood up, slung her small schoolbag over her shoulder and walked out of the classroom in a huff.

Watching her go out, the little boy looked back at the little girl, "Why did you say that?"

The little girl cocked her head with an innocent look on her face, "What did I say?"

"You said Sweety's mum and dad were biased."

"I'm not wrong, why else wouldn't they come to the Games?"

"Didn't Sweety say her brother was hurt?"

"So that's eccentric."

This threw the young boy for a loop, he was going to speak for Sweety but at the moment he felt as if the little girl was right. When Eloise and Hector arrive at the nursery and don't see Sweety in the classroom, they rush to replace the teacher. "Where's Sweety?"

The teacher was sorting through the toys and was a little confused by their question, "Isn't she in the classroom?" With that, she looked over to Sweety's seat and was shocked to replace that no one was there, "Where's Sweety?" Eloise couldn't help but get a little angry at the teacher's flustered look, "Don't you even care about the kids?"

"No, I ..." the teacher tried to explain, but thought that this was not the time to do so.

She rushed to contact the teacher who was guarding the school gate and after asking, she learned that Sweety had not left the nursery. "She's still at school, I'm going to replace it now."

With that, the teacher ran out.

Eloise and Hector rushed to follow suit.

When we found Sweety, she was sitting in the corner with her head down, a small, heart-wrenching mass.

Eloise rushed over, "Sweety."

At the sound of the voice, Sweety looked up and her little face lit up at the sight of her, but then dimmed the next second. She turned her face away.
