Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 990: What comes naturally will come
Seeing her resigned little face, Eloise reached out and stroked her head, "Good girl, when your brother is ready, mummy will take you out to play." Sweety's eyes lit up, "Really?"
Eloise laughs, "Really."
"Great!" Sweety spun around in place with delight, making both adults laugh.
Eloise leads Brimlad to the terrace on the third floor.
Eloise pulled out a chair, "Sit down, Auntie."
Brimlad smiled and sat down, turning his head to look around, "This is a very secluded place you live in and the air is good."
"Actually, the old Khan family home isn't so bad."
Eloise and Brimlad look at each other and smile.
A hint of hesitation crossed Brimlad's face as she weighed her words, "Eloise, your in-laws have been very good to you."
This is an affirmative sentence.
"Very nice indeed." Eloise guffawed, "I'm grateful that they're willing to take me on."
Brimlad took her hand in his with relief, "You are blessed to have such an in-law."
The two of them sat for a while longer before going downstairs.
On the first floor stairway, they met Hector's mother who came upstairs to call out to them.
"Dinner is ready, come on down and eat." Hector's mother greeted.
"I'm going to shout for Solomon Eloise."
Eloise turned to head for the children's room when Hector's mother called out to her, "They're already downstairs, you're all that's left."
"Good." Eloise retrieved her foot and went down the stairs with them, one after the other.
Hector's mother prepared a table full of dishes to entertain Baggott and Brimlad.
The corners of Eloise's mouth twitched as she looked at the vast array of dishes, so many that twenty people wouldn't even be able to finish them. "Mom, would that be an exaggeration?" She asked in a whisper, leaning over to Hector's mother's ear.
Hector's mother gave her a scornful look, "You're not exaggerating. They are your brother-in-law and sister-in-law, I have to show 100% sincerity." At these words, emotion flooded her heart and Eloise whispered, "Thank you, Mum."
Hector's mother laughs, "Go and sit down."
Eloise answered yes, then walked over to Hector and sat down.
"I didn't know what you would like to eat, so I prepared it the way I thought I would, and I hope you like it."
Hector's mother smiled at Baggott and Brimlad.
They both said in a rush, "Loved it."
"Trouble for you." Brimlad was a little embarrassed.
Brimlad was also a little surprised to see so many dishes.
However, it is a testament to how much the Rogers family values them and, by extension, how much they care about Eloise.
"Grandma and Uncle, I want to sit next to you."
Sweety milked it.
"Yeah, come here." Brimlad waved at her.
Hector's mother, who was standing by, said in a mock-smile, "Sweety, your aunt and grandmother are here, so you don't want your grandmother." "No. My aunt and grandmother are guests and I have to entertain her."
Sweety's words made a few adults laugh.
In this way, the dinner took place in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
After dinner, Eloise took the two children upstairs and told them to behave upstairs while she went back downstairs.
Everyone else is in the living room and Hector's mother puts the fruit tray on the coffee table and sits down next to Hector's father.
"How long do you plan to stay at City J?" Hector's mother asked, speaking up.
Brimlad glanced at her husband Baggott, "Maybe a few days."
"Then you should stop staying in hotels and come and stay at home."
In response to Hector's mother's enthusiasm, Brimlad politely declined, "Don't bother, old Fang and I still want to visit an old friend."
Hector's mother was a little disappointed, "So."
Eloise walked over just in time to overhear their conversation, she walked over and sat on the arm of the sofa next to Brimlad, put her arm around Brimlad's neck and teased with a smile, "Auntie, it's rare for my mother to have a friend she can talk to, she'll be upset if you do."
"Is that so?" Brimlad looked over at Hector's mother.
Hector's mother looked at Eloise with a grimace, "Am I that stingy? Besides it's not like your brother-in-law only comes here once."
It took Brimlad a moment to realise that Eloise was teasing her, and she cried out and smacked Eloise lightly, "You child."
Eloise laughs heartily.
It was perhaps the biggest smile she'd had in a long time.
"I hear your son is running the Khan Group now, really young and talented." Hector's father said.
When Baggott heard that, he said, "It's not as good as Hector, who is really young and talented."
When it comes to Hector, Baggott's satisfaction is overwhelming.
Brimlad suddenly thought of something and turned to Hector's mother, "Where's your little boy, in-laws? Why haven't you seen him today?"
"He accompanied Aisly back to her mother's house."
Brimlad nodded, "You have a good life, two sons with families, grandchildren and grandchildren, a real blessing."
Her tone was full of envy.
Hector's mother thought of what Eloise had mentioned to herself earlier and smiled, "Children and grandchildren have their own blessings, when the time comes, what is meant to be will come." "My son is so focused on his career, I don't even know when fate will come." Speaking of Edgar, Brimlad sighs heavily.
Hector's mother couldn't help but laugh, "You're a lot like me. I was worried about Hector's life back then, but it was no use worrying about it, and the boy wouldn't listen to you.
So it's better to let the children make their own decisions and we as parents just wait patiently."
Brimlad laughed lightly and agreed, "You're right, a forced melon isn't sweet yet. I should put my mind at ease."
She wasn't in a hurry before, but then she saw how cute Sweety and Solomon were and she wanted to be a grandmother too.
"Little aunt." Eloise put her hands on her shoulders, "Trust me, soon cousin will bring you home a girlfriend."
Brimlad turned his head to look at her, "You sound like you're pretty sure of that."
Eloise raised an eyebrow and sold a little story, "You'll know in time anyway." As long as Edgar can catch up with Earlene.
Brimlad laughed out loud, "You're a kid who's selling out. Fine, I'll believe you." Eloise said, with a chin up and some arrogance, "That's a must."
The others couldn't help but laugh.
