"I have both," she supplied as they walked down the halls out to their private garden. It was her brother, he deserved to go there. The place was supposed to be only for family, but Hendrix was the family front she started.

"What," the expression on her brother's face was priceless. Anastasia had to laugh a little.

"I'm carrying three pups," she said, "I have two wombs, each carrying a different father's pup."

Hendrix was reeling at the information."How?"

"I'll explain everything later, but we will only know when the pups are born. Whichever pups come out first is Logan's."

"That must be tiring, Selena was a handful to carry, but you have three. I wonder what the strain is like."

"It's weird because I barely have any nausea or sickness, and my muscles didn't hurt that much," she started. "Anyway, I get carried everywhere so I'm okay. She grinned up at Leo And pecked his lips."

"You are so lucky."

"Hey," Hendrix whined. "I offered to carry you but half the time you denied my help, told me you were strong enough."

Aiden laughed at him. "I know, I was only joking."

Anastasia watched the interaction with a smile, it was clear that her brother oved Aiden and vice versa. They spoke so fondly to each other. She wondered if that's how she looked when she was with the twins, the thought made her happier.

They got to the garden, Anastasia jumped off her alpha and walked around, rambling about how it was a courting gift and everything the alphas had done for her. Hendrix knew about their hunt for a mate, having received a letter about himself, but had no idea that it was Anastasia .

"It's a pretty garden," Aiden complimented as he sat down on the grass. Logan went inside the house and brought back some coloring supplies for Selena. Anastasia had to coo internally at his action, he didn't even get asked to do that. Aiden smiles gratefully at the alpha as the young pup wanders off a little further away from them to lie on the grass and play by herself. Hendrix kept glancing at her as they talked.

"Hendrix made me something like this," Aiden said. "It was a vegetable garden behind our house because I like to garden. It was such a sweet present. He always brings back something for me when he comes back from work. He was supposed to go alone for this trip but I insisted on coming. I'm glad I did."

"I'm glad you did too."

The conversion strayed onto Anastasia and her mates, which the omega spent ages explaining everything that had happened to her brother, eyes shining bright as she described her pregnancy and the pups inside of him. Hendrix smiled as she talked about them, Anastasia could already tell that he was approving of her mates but also his family.

"Two wombs are quite special," Hendrix muttered, hand stroking her stomach as he felt a few kicks. "I always knew you were special from the moment our mother had you and the moment I saw your hair change from black to blonde when you were seven. It's so nice to see it all out and long again."

Anastasia grinned back at him, looking at his mates next to her who were also smiling happily.

"Have you gone back home?" Anastasia asked.

"No, I was planning to go there right after I came here. There is so much business to be done down south anyway. Why?"

"Oh," Anastasia. "I was curious if you had spoken to our father yet."

"Because of your arranged mating?" Hendrix sighed. "I'm going to be real, I had no idea about it. I sent back letters every month asking about you and some letters were for you too, but you never replied and father just said you were doing fine. I should've sent them to Evan instead.

"I knew you had no idea," Anastasia exclaimed. "If you had it wouldn't have happened, you would never let me go with someone like that Raphael pig. They still don't know though."

"I'll go back and tell them about you, at this point they can't do anything and your pack is not affiliated with them in any way."

Anastasia nodded her head. "I am kind of glad that you didn't come to see me before I got an arranged mating, otherwise I am not sure I would have met the twins so quickly."

"Oh, you would've," Hendrix reassured. "Soulmates may not all be destined to mate but I would've brought you here at some point anyway. Your wolf was calling for you to come here so it would be inevitable that you met."

"Like you and Aiden," Anastasia smiled. "Just like us, yeah."

Anastasia gazed at the sunset and thought about everything she had learned in the past few days. "I can't believe you became the leader of such a big pack so easily."

"Oh, it wasn't easy," Hendrix denied. "When I first came to the pack claiming to be Aiden's mate, no one was happy about it. The pack leader wanted the lineage to stay in the pack. I dueled with one of Aiden's suitors and ended up wounding him, which didn't put me in a better situation either. It only came to my favor when I saved some of the omegas from a rogue."

"Then the pack alpha died last year and you became the leader," Anastasia finished off.

"Yep," Hendrix hummed. "No one challenged me, which is still a shock to this day. I keep waiting for a rebellion but there have been absolutely no signs of one happening any time soon."

"That's a good thing though, it's good that it's calm."

Anastasia didn't understand the slight tension his brother had with the pack, if it was peaceful there would be little chance of rebellion, just like Julia had told her about their pack. No one would fight if everyone was happy, even then getting support would be bad. Hendrix was a good leader, he was expected to lead their birth pack, so he didn't need to worry.

"It's not that simple," Hendrix told her. "No matter how good a situation is, something bad could happen to break the peace."

The words stuck with Anastasia for a while.

Her brother's family left after a week, and Anastasia was so upset to see them go.

"You need to come back soon okay?" She prodded at her brother, they had hugged for

a long time and she was refusing to let go. Hendrix huffed out a laugh.

"As I said, I will. I will come when you have given birth. We've already agreed to send letters weekly, it's not like this is the end of our contact."

Anastasia finally pulled away and looked up at his brother. "I know." Watching their horses fade away into the distance was painful for her, a week was too short to reconnect with her brother properly, but it wasn't the end. They would keep in contact for years after today, and their children would grow up together.

"You need to bathe, let's head inside," Leo Picked her up after the group had long since disappeared into the distance. Anastasia reluctantly settled into his arms and leaned against him, still looking in the direction that her brother had gone.
