Chapter 1222 Found The Evil King Hall

Not long after he entered the long corridor, Rocky found an arched entrance on one side.

"I wonder if this is the place.” Rocky peaked into the arched entrance and saw a multi-story pavilioninside. It was extremely delicate and elegant. In front of the pavilion, there was a fascinating gardenfull of all kinds of beautiful flowers and plants. Although it seemed like no one had maintained theplace for a long time, the garden still looked very exquisite while the flowers and plants wereflourishing.

After passing through the arched entrance, he walked in the garden and approached the pavilion.However, when he got to it, the door was closed and there was a plaque hanging on it with thewords "Jade Phoenix Pavilion" engraved on it.

"It seems like this isn't the right place. I shouldn't just barge in,” Rocky muttered to himself. Heremembered the warning of the Dragon-shaped Soul Beast and quickly turned around to go backwhere he came from. However, when he was about to leave, he noticed a strange aura beingemitted by the flowers and plants from the garden. It felt like it was calling him, so hesubconsciously walked towards it. Then, he found a spiritual herb that looked very different from therest of the flowers and plants. It shone brightly and appeared in the shape of a rabbit's ear.Although Rocky didn't know what exactly the spiritual herb was, he thought that it was worthexamining. So, he squatted in front of the peculiar-looking herb and dug it out along with the soilaround it. Then, he asked Robin to take out a vessel that he was using in the laboratory. He wouldput the herb in it to ensure that it could survive.

After that, Rocky left the garden and went back to the long corridor. As he continued to walk, thepath became complicated as several forks suddenly appeared.

After randomly choosing a fork and walking on it for about a few hundred meters, Rocky sawanother entrance and a cave inside. At the same time, there were words carved at the top of theentrance that read “Ethereal Void Cave".

"Not here either.” Rocky knew that this wasn't the place that he was searching for either. However,since the entrance of the cave was not blocked, his instinct told him to enter just so he could replaceout what kind of place the Ethereal Void Cave was.

Upon entering the cave, Rocky saw that it was divided into several grottos that looked like idealplaces where reclusive masters could cultivate.

After looking around for a while, Rocky stumbled on a grotto with some primitive devices thatseemed to be used for refining pills.

As he entered, he saw several rows of shelves that contained all kinds of bottles and glassware. Afterinspecting them one by one, he found nothing special and it seemed like all of the bottles wereempty anyway.

However, just as he was about to leave, he suddenly felt a faint aura coming from a dusty woodenplatform located in the corner of the grotto. Out of curiosity, he walked towards the corner andfound a box on a wooden table that was covered with thick dust.

Rocky thought for a while before deciding to reach out for the box. When he found out that therewas nothing strange about it, he slowly opened the box and saw three pill bottles inside. He pickedthem up and was surprised that they were rather heavy.

Then, he opened one of the bottles and poured out the pills in it. As soon as the pills came to hisview, they shone brightly and he clearly felt the overflowing spiritual energy. Although he wasn'tsure what these pills were for, just by judging from the strong aura they emitted, Rocky assumedthat they must be of the superior kind. They shouldn't be inferior to the Holy Spirit Panacea thatKayla had given him for his cultivation.

Therefore, Rocky kept the three bottles without hesitation. He had already risked his life just to getto this place, so he thought that he could at least take something valuable while he looked around.After leaving the pill refining grotto, Rocky suddenly perceived a very strong aura coming from theinnermost grotto. As he drew nearer to it, the aura became more and more intense. It was as ifcountless precious treasures were gathered there. He couldn't help but swallow as he walkedtowards the grotto. At the end of the path, he found a sealed stone door on the side of the grotto.However, just as he was about to approach the stone door, a light that seemed like a water filmsuddenly emerged and blocked his way.

"An enchanted barrier?” Rocky immediately took a step back after discerning the existence of abarrier in front of the stone door. Now, he was more convinced that something important, like sometreasure, was inside the grotto. However, even though he really wanted to enter and look inside, hecouldn't help but hesitate. This was different than the spiritual herb and the bottles of pills earlier.The Dragon-shaped Soul Beast warned him that several forbidden items and even evil souls weresealed in this place. He couldn't just take whatever he wanted.

With that, Rocky gave it up, left the Ethereal Void Cave, and returned to the long corridor.

As he continued walking, he passed through three similar entrances along the crisscrossed corridor.Each entrance either led to a building, a cave, or a hall. Among these places, only the Ethereal VoidCave was not blockaded. Therefore, it was the only one that Rocky was able to explore. Near theentrances of the other places, he found some natural herbs and treasures that were preciousenough to be kept.

About an hour later, Rocky was getting a little dizzy from wandering inside the complex structure ofthe Heavenly God Temple. However, his senses suddenly sharpened when he felt a very strong auracoming from somewhere. He narrowed his eyes and widened the scope of his vision. Then, he foundthat there was another entrance about a hundred meters away from where he was standing.

He quickened his pace but put his guards up at the same time. As he reached the entrance, amagnificent purplish-gold building that seemed like a royal palace welcomed him. On both sides ofthe building stood a tablet of several meters high, on which the words "Evil King Hall" wereengraved.

"Finally, I found it." Rocky let out a smirk after finally reaching his original destination.

He looked around the Evil King Hall first and made sure that there were no traps or other forms ofdanger before he approached the golden door of the hall.

As he walked towards the golden door, he gradually stretched out his hand and pushed it. As hishand made contact with the door, it suddenly flashed beams of black and purple lights. At the sametime, he felt that the evil power in his body became agitated and began to surge violently.

The next moment, the golden door suddenly flew wide open. A strong gust of wind blew from theinside, making Rocky's robe dance with the wind.

After the wind was gone, Rocky stepped into the hall. He immediately sensed that the area was fullof evil energy that would make ordinary people shudder in fear. The entire hall looked sinister. Thewalls and pillars were carved with some creepy odd demons with black fangs and ferocious faces.Rocky looked around and slowly walked into the center of the hall. From there, he found twopassages that seemed to lead to different places. He thought for a while and picked the one on theright. After entering the passage, he noticed that there was a closed stone chamber every fewmeters.

As he walked towards the nearest stone chamber, he observed some incomprehensible words thatwere carved beside the door. He walked past this one and approached the next one. As hecontinued walking, he saw that the stone chambers were just identical to the ones he saw earlier.
