It was Rocky together with his beast. "Where is Sabina? It's weird. She should've been here earlierthan me." The confusion was drawn on his face because he couldn't replace Sabina anywhere. Hehelped a lot during the battle not long ago. He was the one who startled the Timber Deity Empirearmy and attracted the enemy's attention with his trick, making it possible for Marin and the armyto break the enemy's defense and smash their lands which led them to their success.

After breaking the enemy's defense, Rocky followed Sabina to the west side of Hippo Land.However, her spirit-manipulated beast suddenly sped up which caused her sudden disappearance.Rocky traced the path that he thought she went to, but it turned out he was wrong, neither Sabinanor her spirit-manipulated beast was to be found. As he wondered where she might be at themoment, he noticed that Marin was fighting with someone from Timber Deity Empire. From hisclothes and level of power, Rocky guessed that he might be a Commander.

The two of them were in the middle of intense battle, and it looked almost even. He could easily tellit from just the looks because both were already exhausted and barely giving out their best.

Not far from them, their spirit-manipulated beasts were fighting with each other. As he could see,Verdanim's opponent was also at the third grade of the four-star level, but Verdanim was superiorso Rocky knew that it would win their battle.

“Well, I guess Marin doesn't need my help. She's in control of the battle and soon, she'll win, * Rockythought. He might reveal his true power if he joined the fight with the Commander. For now, hewanted to keep his secret longer to Marin, so he kept on walking and let her handle the fight.However, the Huge Pointed-mouthed Rat that was pinned down by Verdanim moments ago threwitself to Marin.

Marin focused on her fight with Commander Wei that she didn't notice the Huge Pointed-mouthedRat coming towards her side at all. Verdanim roared to warn its master and quickly followed itsopponent after it sensed that she was in danger.

There were only a few distances between them when she finally noticed that Commander Wei'sspirit-manipulated beast was about to attack. It suddenly opened its sharp mouth and spat outyellow water towards Marin.

It was almost a split second, but Marin managed to react with the sudden attack that she receivedfrom the Huge Pointed-mouthed Rat. She could only wave one of her hands to create a waterribbon. After she defended herself with the attack, watery silks danced in the air and became a hugenet afterward with countless ripples spreading.

Marin successfully warded off the attack from her opponent, and the powerful bolts of energy fromboth the yellow water and water ribbon created a cloud of smoke and dust.

Marin let out a sigh as she finally blocked the yellow water that came from the Huge Pointed-mouthed Rat. She was about to fought Commander Wei again, but she suddenly lost control ofherself and her own body. Worst, she could no longer use her spiritual power and was surprised bythe turn of events. Marin couldn't help but look up at Commander Wei, only to replace his devilishsmile that he wore on his face.

After explaining his evil plan, he started to throwhimself and attacked Marin. The excitement could be seen on his devil face as if he saw the womanof his dream naked and lying on his bed!

The reason behind why Commander Wei felt hyped up was because of the thought of catchingMarin. She would be the bait to threaten the Crimson Dragon Army if he succeeded in capturingher, and the armies wouldn't be able to focus their mind on the battle. Marin would become hisprisoner, and he could do whatever he wanted. That thought of her being helpless made himhappier. In the end, the Crimson Dragon Army would lose the battle with so much misery.

He called it "Destroy the leader and the gang will collapse” as an art of war, which he used as a trickto win wars ages ago.

He had made the plan already before fighting her, and he kept on waiting until he found the bestchance to execute and get a hold of capturing Marin. He was aware that Timber Deity Empirewouldn't win that war because the Crimson Dragon Army had a greater number of soldiers.

So he thought of the best plan to turn the tables and win, that was to catch Marin. 'I could beat theCrimson Dragon Army even without the help of Woods!" Commander Wei cried loudly in his mind,and he couldn't help but admire himself.

Marin saw how determined he was to capture her, but she couldn't do anything to change thesituation. She knew that she was going to be the prey of Commander Wei, and she felt upsetknowing how helpless she was. There was a face that popped up inside her head, and she couldn'thelp but tremble with such thoughts.

“Rocky Bai, where are you now?! Why don't you come and save me this time?!" Marin shouted in hermind as if calling Rocky in her mind would make him appear in front of her. She had a strong feelingthat Rocky would appear and save her life in that circumstance.
