However, after a few seconds of thinking about Rocky, she felt ridiculous. Rocky couldn't alwaysshow up and save her life in every critical moment she encountered, for it was impossible. “Oh, comeon Marin Ma! What the hell are you thinking right now?! I can't believe you're thinking about himinstead of planning how to escape here!" She kicked herself inside her head as she felt frustratedwith what she was thinking at that moment. Still, she couldn't deny the fact that she had becomepsychologically dependent on Rocky. That was a special feeling, and she had no idea when it began."Hey, you old masher, stay away with my woman!" Marin heard a voice from a distance, it was sodeep and determined.

The voice approached them along with a dark-red flame of a shape of a blade and it swooped in theair.

Commander Wei noticed the counterattack, he suddenly turned his body, ducked and quicklydodged the rolling flame.

"Crash!" He was almost hit by the dark-red flame as it created a big loud sound. The bright lightflared when the flame finally hit the ground, and it created a huge cloud of smoke and dust thatfloated in the air. It was so powerful that the ground where the flame landed was burned to darkimmediately. It took quite some time for the flame to be extinguished because of the imminentpower that it had.

After the sudden counterattack, he picked Marin who was under the power of the magic potion andhelplessly lay on the ground. She was held by someone who had strong and firm arms. Marinleaned against the man's warm chest which eased her nerves naturally after sensing that it was sucha familiar scent.

She felt excitement after smelling the familiar scent because she knew who the man was. Marin'sface blushed, and it felt like it was burning. Her mouth became dry and her body was slightlytrembling. She knew it was not about the magic of the potion, but Marin didn't also know why shefelt hot all over her body. After struggling with her thoughts and heart, she was eager to confirmwho the man was. Marin tried to move her muscles to look up, and her guess was right. She saw theface that was just a picture in her mind moments ago.

"You did come!" Marin blurted out with a great surprise drawn on her face. She couldn't believewhat she was just thinking a while ago would happen.

It was Rocky who showed up and rescued Marin in time. What a provocative scene! It was that ahero saved the beauty!

"Oh, are you saying that you're not expecting me to come? I see, then I guess I should just go andleave you here right away!" Rocky said as he pretended to let Marin go.

"No! Don't go!" Marin shouted and suddenly tugged Rocky's sleeve. She was afraid that he mightleave her alone at that moment. Rocky held her so tight, and she realized that he was joking aboutleaving her. She could not help but blush with so much shame.

"So you don't want me to leave, huh! Looks like I'm your knight and shining armor, don't 1?" Rockyreplied. There was an evil smile formed on his lips as he saw the sight of Marin's lovely look and thatred stain on her cheeks.

"What are you talking about? I, I just don't want to be left in danger. And what did you said justnow?! What do you mean by saying I am your woman?" Marin asked as she pretended to be angryat Rocky. She would have pushed him away if she only had the strength to stand by herself, but asof now, she was so weak that she could only hang on him for a while.

"Well, isn't that the right line to say at that moment?" Rocky formed a joking smile again on his face."Line?" Marin responded with disappointment after realizing that he didn't mean what he said.

On the other hand, she was fighting herself inside her head because she was shocked by herthoughts. “What is wrong with me? How come these kinds of thoughts are occurring to me?’ Marinasked herself in her mind as she found it surprising that she unconsciously hoped that what Rockysaid was true. She hated Rocky before. However, he was the first person she thought of who couldsave her in her most critical moment. Additional to that, she was feeling upset knowing that he wasonly joking after he said "my woman" and not telling the truth. Such a change of heart was madnessto her.

Marin was lost in her thoughts and blushed with too much shame. But she looked even moreadorable burning with shame.

Contrary to that, Rocky ruined Commander Wei's plan, and Commander Wei was so annoyed byRocky's sudden appearance along with protecting Marin. As he saw Rocky holding her in his armsand he could even hear how intimate they talk with each other, Commander Wei could not feelanything but so much rage. Before Rocky had noticed, Commander Wei summoned his spiritualpower and went closer to where Rocky and Marin were. All he could think for that moment was tostrike both of them down at the same time.

However, before Commander Wei could get closer, a huge beast snapped and clawed in front ofhim blocking him halfway. Just like his owner, the spirit-manipulated beast had an overflowing auraand power. It roared towards Commander Wei as a warning, as if it was talking and saying that "Youstay away with my master and his woman, or I will tear you into pieces!"
