Chapter 69

ROSIE POV

It's been two weeks since I moved into the alpha's house. Living here isn't that bad as I thought it would be. Although the first few days was hard for me to be able to adjust to some things, I learnt to adapt quickly. I am now used to how the routine is in the house. Ever since Luna Isabella and Alpha Bryan forgave Evans, everything was going on so well. The house was at peace now. We always have breakfast, and dinner together.

Luna Isabella has now become my partner infact we are like best friends. We cook together, go for shopping together, go to the spa together, go for visitation together, talk together, gossip together and also play some pranks together.

Why I said some pranks is because she sometimes pranks Alpha Bryan and there is no way I will join her to do that. Although Alpha Bryan is nothing but friendly and kind, I still can't help but be timid whenever I'm right in front of him. But the pranks I join Luna Isabella is when she comes up with a plan and the target is Evans. That's what I love to involve myself in. I replace it exciting and also another way to punish him.

Just three days ago, Luna Isabella applied makeup on his face when he was sleeping. While I on the other painted his nails. After we were done, we took pictures of him. It was so fun. When he woke up, hell broke lose. He didn't smile the whole day because the nail painter I used didn't wash off. It could only wash off the next day. Sadly it was pink color so he had to go to school with pink nails.

It was a good thing that Luna Isabella warned him not to harm me or else I wonder what would have happened to my poor self although it was so funny.

Well Evans and I are not really close but at least we do exchange greetings and talk once in a while. Sometimes he sits with me in the living room to watch a movie which is quite surprising because I can remember that he doesn't like staying in desame room with me. But he is still a jerk as always. Only that he has reduced it. He is only putting a show for his parents. I'm sure he will go back to how he was when he has gotten what he wanted.

For sleeping arrangements, he started sleeping in his room because the Luna almost caught him when he wanted to sleep in the second room. It was a good thing he thought of a quick lie that she believed or else it will have ended badly if she found out for three days he was sleeping in another room.

There was no way I could sleep on the couch every night and I can't imagine myself sharing the same bed with him. After we argued and argued, we finally came to an agreement to take turns for who will sleep on the bed or the couch. That was much better. Today I was going for a sleepover at Angel's house. Maria was going to join us there too as Nate and Smith are going to be on patrol. It's been long we had one so when Angel suggested one, I asked Luna Isabella and Alpha Bryan for permission. I was happy when they accepted it and allowed me to go.

I was arranging the important stuffs I will be needing in my small bag like a toothbrush, towel, bathing sponge, nightwear and a clean pair of clothes to wear the next day when I heard a knock on the door. "Come in" I said.

The door opened and Luna Isabella entered the room.

"I can see you are getting ready to go." she said as she walked to the bed and sat down on it.

"Yes I'm almost done."

"Its not like I don't want you to go have fun or something but I will miss you even though it's only just for a night." she said with a sad look on her face.

I heart fell when I heard her say that.

"I will miss you too Luna but don't worry I will be back before you know it. As you have said it's only for a night. And I need to go because my friends are persistent to see me." I tried to explain to her.

"You don't have to explain my dear. I understand. Don't mind me. Don't worry I will be fine. At least I will have some alone time with Bryan and that's perfect for me not to miss you too much." she said smiling.

I smiled back at her. She sat down with me and watched as I packed everything I will be needing. She made sure I packed everything and left nothing.

After I was done and also sure, we both left the room and went downstairs. We were about to reach the door when it opened by itself. Evans entered the house looking so sweaty. He went for a run earlier.

"Evans, Rosie will be leaving now." Luna Isabella announced like he didn't know already. I mean it's very obvious because I was already leaving because I was dressed and also holding my bag.

"Oh alright. Bye." was all he said before going upstairs.

Well at least he said bye before leaving.

I made Luna Isabella go upstairs before leaving the house because I'm sure she won't mind walking me to Angel's house.

I left the house and walked to Angel's house. Which wasn't far from Evans house. When I arrived, I knocked the door. After some few seconds had passed, the door opened and Angel jumped on me hugging me very tightly. "Its a good thing that you made it." she said

"Can't.... breathe." I said to her slowly.

She quickly let me go.

"Oops sorry Rosie. I was just excited that we are finally having a sleepover when it has been long we last had one." she said.

"Its fine. Is Maria here yet?" I asked.

"Yes she's in the kitchen preparing some snacks." she answered.

I walked to the sitting room and dropped my bag before heading to Angel's kitchen.

"Hey Maria what's cooking?" I asked smiling.

She screamed and dropped the spoon she was holding before she ran to hug me.

"Hey why are you so excited to see me? Like we saw each other yesterday at school so what's wrong?" I asked her.

"Oh nothing. I'm just happy you are here and we will finally have some time together without the boys around." she said smiling.

"Well I agree with her. It's just us right now and we sure are going to have the best time together." Angel said.

I laughed then together the three of us began to work in the kitchen. We made different snacks and juices.

After we were done, we all went to the sitting which was already arranged with a big blanket on the floor for us to sit on. We sat down and began to eat as we talked and laughed. We gossiped about Smith, Nate and Evans. Though about Evans wasn't much since I didn't know much about him yet.

"So Rosie that's reminds me, I wanted to ask you something." Maria said.

"Alright. What's it about?" I asked her.

"What do you think about Drew because I can't help but notice that you both have been so close this past few days." she said.

I smiled just hearing Drew's name. Our friendship has been growing stronger and stronger each and every day. We are becoming more like besties and not just friends. I truly enjoy his company. He is a funny guy and I never get bored whenever I'm with him. Infact I usually forget all my problems whenever I was with him.

"Hey Rosie. Are you listening to me?" Maria asked interrupting my thoughts.

I turned to her.

"Sorry what was that you asked again?" I asked.

I only can remember mentioned Drew and that's all. I can't remember what she said after that.

"I asked what do you think about Drew?" Maria repeated.

"Oh I think he is an amazing person. He is a very good person and I like him." I said truthfully.

"Wait a minute you said you like him right?" Angel asked quickly.

"Yes I like him. As a friend." I said.

"Are you sure you just like him as a friend? Because Rosie I can't help but watch you too closely. You both closeness is getting deeper and deeper. Are you sure you are not in love with him?" Angel asked.

"What? In love? With who? Drew?? No way. I told you girls already, it's not what you both are thinking. Nothing is going on between us. We are just friends and Drew is a caring soul. Nothing much, nothing less." I explained to them hoping they understand and stop asking such absurd questions.

"Oh well if you say so. We will hold unto your word." Maria said smiling.

"But hold on if you don't love Drew, does that mean you love Evans?" Angel just had to ask.

"Hell no. I don't love Evans." I answered her.

"Hmmm sure. But there is high possiblity you will fall in love with him very soon." Angel said.

"No way. I will only give him a chance only when I'm very sure that he has really changed but if I don't see changes then forget it. I rather stay single for the rest of my life." I said to her.

"Alright that's fine. Enough with the topic already. Let's just have fun and not spoil the mood going on." Maria said.

We decided to play some music and dance. The music was so loud but we didn't care at all about it instead we danced with all our strength.

We danced until we got so tired. We laid on the floor as we tried to catch our breath.

I noticed Sun was restless as she was so alert all of a sudden.

"Hey Sun what's wrong?" I asked her feeling worried.

"I don't know but I feel like something is coming." she replied.

"Something like wh..." before I could finish asking my question, the front door of Angel's house fell with a long bang startling us all.

Before I could blink my eyes, the sitting room was full with angry rogues.

I was shaking inside but I tried my best not to show it out. Maria, Angel and I stood together. We sent for help through the mind link. We waited for help to come immediately but the rogues were impatient. One of them rushed to us and opened his mouth ready to attack us.

I quickly pushed Angel and Maria behind me and stood in front of them. I have to protect them.

I closed my eyes and waited for the pain.
