"You...you are not dead?" Killian mumbled in shock. He rushed to Violet and tried to help her up.

Violet pulled herself away from him and spat on his face.

"Don't feign ignorance. It was you, you caused Sara's death, and she loved you with all her heart. Why? What did she do to deserve that?" Violet screamed, spitting out blood. The punch Killian threw at her had severely injured her, damaging her meridians.

"Violet, believe me. I wasn't the one that passed the order, I didn't even know when it all happened. I only woke up to hear of Sara's disappearance." Killian explained, wearing a forlorn expression as he stared at Violet.

Violet laughed, holding her chest as she coughed hard.

"And you expect me to believe that? The woman who placed all of her trust in you, what happened to her in the end?" Violet cried, tears streaming down her cheeks. She panted, struggling hard to get on her feet. Killian hurriedly moved to help her, but Violet angrily shoved her away.

"Don't you touch me..." she spat.

"Now that I am at your mercy, you can as well kill me. I have prepared my mind for this outcome the moment I decided to assassinate you. At least, I can join my lady in the underworld." Violet muttered, her eyes had swollen as a result of her cries. She bit her lower lips dejectedly, staring weakly at Killian.

"Jared is dead." Killian finally revealed after some seconds of silence.

"What?" Violet asked in shock, her eyes bulging wide.

"He was stabbed by his daughter, Patricia. Patricia murdered the elder and she framed it on Sara with the help of her father. Jared also devised some means and passed the order. Do you know why I am here?" Killian said, turning his back as he walked deeper into the ancestral room.

Violet was still stunned by what she just heard, she panicked for a while and wondered if she should believe Killian or not. She swallowed hard, dragged her feet and slowly followed Killian.

"Do you know who this is?" Killian pointed at the corpse lying in the room.

Sara's mouth dropped, she opened her mouth to talk but the words were unable to replace their ways out of her throat.

"She resembles Sara, right?" Killian asked her, staring straight at her. Violet moved closer, her mouth still dropped in awe.

She blinked twice, trying to register what was happening.

"She does, but it's not her." She replied, moving around the body weakly.

"Exactly! I was almost fooled by whoever sent this corpse to the blue moon pack. If not for my blood touching the face of this lady, I would have thought it was Sara." He mumbled, dragging a seat for Violet.

"Who sent it here?" Violet asked as she took her seat in front of the body.

"I don't know. But I am sure that the person's intention is to fool us into thinking that Sara was dead..." he paused and sighed.

"All of these mean one thing, Sara is still alive somewhere, and someone doesn't want us to have a connection with her." Killian explained to her. Violet's eyes darted sideways, and she began to sweat profusely. Killian noticed her shaken state and rushed to her side.

"Let me heal you. We need to replace Sara, she is probably in danger wherever she is, only you can work with me. Please." Killian begged, his heart filled with hope that Violet wouldn't reject him but trust him.

Violet sighed, and after some seconds, nodded her head.

"I will trust you one more time." She replied. Killian smiled, and walked to Violet's back,

he placed his two palms on her back, and channeled all energy to his palm. A beam of golden light emanated from his claws, surrounding Violet.

The process went on for about five minutes after which Killian withdrew his palms, and took a deep breath. The golden light also disappeared.

"I have transferred some of my energy into you, you should be fine after some rest." Killian said to her, while Violet nodded.

"Oh right! The guards told me that you were dead, how did you survive it?" Killian asked, his brows furrowed in confusion.

Violet sighed, and faced Killian;

"I was saved by someone..." she paused, lifted her gaze off Killian and she picked her nails.

"... the guards dumped me in the forest that night, unknown to them, I still had a trace of breath left inside me. I even thought I was dead, until I saw a lady approach me with an umbrella inside the heavy rain. I was instantly filled with hope, persistence and I vowed to avenge the Luna if I ever survived the incident." She explained, stared at Killian and smiled.

"I am sorry that I misunderstood you." She said to him,

Killian also smiled, and replied to her;

"It's fine. I am glad to have you here again. I would love to meet the lady who saved you so I can reward her."

"She lives in a lone house very far from our pack. But after we've found my lady, I will bring her to greet you." She said to him,

"So you agreed to help me?" Killian muttered happily, clicking his tongue in ecstasy.

"She is my mistress, it's my duty to replace and care for her." She replied.

"I should get going before the elders come to replace me, and yes, you should stay hidden, everyone believes that you are dead, appearing before them now will surely cause an uproar." Killian explained to her.

"Yes, I understand." Violet replied to him.

Killian grabbed a book from the ancestral room, it was about some ancient spell. He stood beside the corpse and casted some spell on it. The face gradually turned to that of Sara, as if nothing had happened before.

"Why did you do that?" Violet asked in surprise.

"What happened should be a secret. If the elders replace out, they will surely make a ruckus about it. So, it's better to be as careful as we can." He muttered, staring at the body.

'You do look like her, but you are not her. Sara, just endure a bit more, I am coming!'
