Chapter 1

Skylar's POV

"SKYLAR YOU SKANK GET YOUR FUCKING ASS DOWN HERE ANDMAKE ME BREAKFAST RIGHT NOW!" screamed my piece of shit andasshole brother Tyler. Still in agonizing pain from the beating I receivedlast night I got up as fast as I could manage which wasn't very fast andgot dressed. As I tried to run down the stairs to the kitchen as fast as Icould but stupid people kept getting in my way. Then the pack slutMelody grabbed me to tell me “Bitch you better make sure that you getmy fucking breakfast right this time or else you will regret it when I tellSpencer that you were disrespecting me.” she screeched at me. Finally Imake it to the kitchen and quickly make the pack breakfast thatconsisted of scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, fruit salad, orange juice,coffee and some salads for all the stupid ass whores. Just like everymorning I spit in all of their salads and they have never noticed whichmakes me laugh on the inside because of how much they deserve itand this little bit of payback feels so good. When I finish making all ofthe food I quickly set the table and place all of the food down on it justas the pack members start to file into the dining room. When they sitdown to eat I left the room and went to the attic which is where mybedroom was located. Once I knew that I was completely alone I pulledout my phone and computer out of the secret spot I keep them inbecause if any of my pack members knew I had this stuff they wouldconfiscate them and destroy them. Suddenly I hear footstepsapproaching the attic stairs and I quickly and quietly hide my phoneand computer before who ever it is comes storming in.

Just as I finish hiding my stuff my asshat of a brother comes stompingup to me “Slut you need to go and do your fucking shores and you alsohave to set up for Spencer's birthday party so it had better be a greatone oh, and don't forget to get lots of food, beer and liquor.” mybrother yelled all of that at me I just sat there nodding my head at him,once he was done I ran downstairs to get started on everything Ineeded to do. I don't talk much “cause when I do I usually get a beatingfor it so I only speak when I have to which is hardly ever. When I washalf way done my chores when everyone left for school and the parentsleft for work, after finishing up the last of my chores I start setting upthe decorations for Spencer's 18th Birthday Party in record time. Then Irun to the store to buy everything I needed for the party I buy beer,vodka, rum, steak, beef, bacon, salad, fruit, and anything else I wouldneed for it. Since I'm not allowed to have a vehicle it took me 6 trips toand from the store to get everything back to the pack house and putaway and set up. Once that was all done I mowed the lawn, cleaned outthe pool, and set up all the tables and chairs, when that was all done Istarted on cooking and making all of the food before the party startedat 7 because once people started to arrive I would have to go and startserving everyone drinks.

It was now 11:30 at night and as I was trying to get passed Spencer toserve someone behind him I accidentally bumped into him and as soonas out bodies touched I felt sparks and tingles radiate from where wetouched. The next thing I know Spencer roughly grabs my wrist anddrags me into the pack house and up to his room so no one could hearus. Once we got to his room he shoved me inside and shut the doorbehind us and that's when I really looked at him and all I saw was hate,anger, and disgust swirling around in his gorgeous light brown eyes.“Fuck me the moon goddess sure does have a cruel sense of humourmaking you my mate.” he sneered at me. “Let's just get this over with I.Spencer Matthews rejects you Skylar Rose as my mate and future Lunaof the Silver Moon Pack.” he smirked happily at me as he waited for meto start crying but me being me I was not going to give him thatsatisfaction. So I simply said that “I Skylar Rose reject you SpencerMatthews future alpha as my mate, oh and also I accept your rejection.”I say to him with a new found confidence as I turned around andslammed his bedroom door when I left a stunned Spencer standing inhis room. I turned and sprinted to my room and hurriedly packed all ofmy belongings which doesn't take long as I don't really have very manythings to begin with. As I leave I go into the safe in the alpha's officeand take out 50 grand. Spencer rejecting me was the last straw for meas I finally had enough of their abuse and with that final thought I leftthe Silver Moon Pack once and for all
