Glen then finished, "In case you're wondering, the South Sea Crow is on our side now. She told us everything."

Titus' fist was cracking audibly as he realized that the conspiracy he had planned for so long was thoroughly dismantled.

Giving up on pretension, he asked coolly, "Where's Sif?"

"We have her remanded," Glen replied. "She will be allowed to return once your family has pulled out entirely from our estates and businesses."

Titus almost shattered the glass table before him.

He never thought that the Turnbulls would have the guts to stand against them.

No, that was putting it lightly... They actually kidnapped a member of their family and threatened them in turn!

"Fine. In that case, there's nothing more to say, Mr. Turnbull," he growled. "We won't hold back either if anything happens to Sif while she's in your custody.

"Save your breath, Mr. Lionheart," Glen retorted in disdain. "Your father already knows he should be returning to Morhen as we speak. I'd be thinking about what options I have now if I were you." And with that, Glen hung up.

Titus was still in his pajamas and sitting on the edge of his bed, spacing out for about ten minutes before suddenly flinging his phone on the floor, smashing it into pieces.

He did not stop there-as if going berserk, he kicked the vase by the wall and kept breaking everything in his own room.

"Mooks! Incompetent pricks! Sif... All of them!"

His eyes were red and he was wheezing by the time he destroyed almost everything in his room when he realized that Aesop had been standing at his doorway.

The pudgy man was leveling him a look of disappointment. "Master Lionheart is asking for you."

Titus almost flinched at the name but eventually scowled as he followed Aesop, leaving his room barefooted while his eyes flared with fury.

"Glen Turnbull... South Sea Crow... Just you wait," he growled under his breath. "You will all be begging for your deaths because you denied me!"

Meanwhile, Glen breathed a long sigh after hanging up on Titus before turning toward Frank and Vicky with a look of mixed emotions.

"Why would he conspire against us?" Vicky asked in curiosity. "Does he have a bone to pick?"

"No." Glen shook his head and sighed again. "It's his younger brother, Ehud Lionheart. The boy completed Birthright rank at a very young age and was already chosen by Simon Lionheart himself to be the nex chief of Volsung Sect."

"What does that have to do with Titus?" Vicky pressed, frowning.

"Obviously, that's because Ehud's accomplishments far eclipsed Titus', even though they were both prodigies in their own right. Titus must be thirsting to prove himself that he has what it takes to become the next head of the family, and deter his brother from claiming that position too."

Having explained everything, Glen turned to Frank. "Now that the truth is revealed, Mr. Lawrence, I thank you for helping us without holding past grievances against us."

"Don't thank me. Just do what you promised to." Frank remained impassive.

"That's only right." Glen nodded. "You have gone above and beyond to help us. I have no right to lead this family if I break my promise."

Then, trying his best to put on his nicest smile, he added, "Don't worry. You won't meet any resistance from me if you wish to leave with Vicky."
