George raised his eyebrows. "Are you that afraid of me? You're Enoah's classmate and Ean's tutor. You may call me 'Uncle George' just like them. I've always been tolerant and gentle toward the younger generation." Suzy wanted to laugh even more now. She pretended to be calm and nodded. "Okay."

George's eyes scanned her face. He looked ahead and continued, "If you bump into Sena in the future, there's no need to bother with her."

Suzy was quite innocent. "She was blocking my way."

George said, "Aren't you good at kicking?"

Suzy raised her eyebrows. "Can I kick Ms. Hans?"

One could not tell George's emotions from his tone. "Of course. Please do so without hesitation. I'll settle it!"

Settle it?

Suzy raised her eyes slightly. This sentence alone revealed his thuggish demeanor!

George was probably afraid that she would overthink, so he added, "I caused this trouble for you, after all. I'll naturally take care of the aftermath."

Suzy looked at the delicate profile of the man's lower jaw. Did he mean that she could do whatever she wanted?

There was a moment of silence in the car. Then, George suddenly asked in a low voice, "How much money do I give you?"

Suzy was startled but quickly realized that she had asked Sena if she would give her more money than what George was giving her. Without a change in her expression, she replied seriously, "Enoah said that each class will be 150 bucks, so if my salary is paid by you, Mr. Laine, that's about 1,200 bucks per month."

George nodded. "Then the 15 million you asked for is quite profitable!"

After all, even if Suzy taught Ean until he got into college, she probably would not earn 15 million bucks.

Suzy smiled disappointedly. "It's a shame..."

The man asked, "What's a shame?"

"It's a shame that Ms. Hans wasn't willing to fork it out."

George, "..."

He could hear the implication behind her words. Suzy was mocking him for not even being worth 15 million dollars. Sure enough, she was such a vengeful and articulate little girl who would not let go of any opportunity to tease him. Suzy turned her head to look at the scenery outside the window, the corners of her lips rising slightly. She was in an inexplicably good mood.

...

On Monday, River University's gate was congested with traffic. There were many people walking back and forth.

Inside a Maybach, Sena sat in the backseat and kept staring out of the car until she saw Suzy's figure. She then immediately turned to the man beside her and said, "That's her. Suzy Shirley. A junior in River U's Economics and Management Department."

The man raised his head, looked in the direction Sena pointed, and noticed the woman at a glance.

Suzy wore a simple white shirt with light-colored jeans. The ends of her jeans were slightly rolled up, and she wore white sneakers.

What would attract one's attention was not her good-looking facial features but her clean looks. It was the kind of feeling that made her appear untainted at first glance.

Others might replace her breathtaking, but for Sherman Miller, who had seen thousands of beautiful women, he merely smiled coldly. "Today's Monday and I have an important meeting this morning. You called me here to look at a woman?" Sena did not explain too much and immediately said, "If you can successfully woo her, I'll give up the two points of share that were given by the Millers."

Sena was Sherman's aunt's daughter. When the elder of the Miller family left behind his will, it was said that two points of share would be given to Sena, his granddaughter.

Two points would be equivalent to billions of dollars.

Sherman's handsome face showed a hint of consternation. He turned to look at the woman again and raised his eyebrows in disdain. "Is she worth that much?"

Sena's delicate face was resolute. "Are you or are you not up for it?"

Sherman smiled sinisterly. "Of course, I am. I get the beauty and the money. It's a win-win. Where else can I replace such a great offer?"

Sena looked at him and asked, "How long will it take you?"

Sherman's face was full of arrogance. "Three days at most. I'll definitely get her on my bed!"

Sena nodded. "Alright. When the time comes, send me a photo and I'll sign the share transfer agreement."

"Deal!"

...

As Cece had matters to deal with, she left right after their class in the morning. Suzy, on the other hand, went to eat alone at noon.

There was an old street outside the east gate of River University, and there was a restaurant serving authentic Cantent Nation cuisine in one of the alleys. Suzy and Cece were both regulars there.

Suzy came out after eating and was stopped by several women at the entrance of the alley.

A woman in a denim outfit stood at the front, staring at Suzy coldly. "Tiff is still in the hospital. Do you think this is the end of the matter?"

There was zero change in Suzy's expression. "What do you girls want?"

The woman who spoke earlier said coldly, "You'll have to head to Tiff's hospital bed and slap yourself to apologize. Once Tiff is no longer angry, we'll stop pursuing you!"

Suzy looked at her lightly. "What if I refuse?"

"What do you think?" A woman at the back took a step forward. She was holding a bat in her hand and looked at Suzy threateningly.

Suzy's eyes turned cold. "Since you and Tiffany are such great friends, why don't I send all of you to the hospital to accompany her?"

"You asked for it!" The woman with the bat turned ruthless. She swung the bat and aimed it at Suzy's head.

Just as Suzy was about to lift her foot, someone suddenly stretched out an arm to grab the bat. The person wore a thin light blue shirt that exposed his arms. His complexion was porcelain white like a woman's. At the same time, a teasing voice sounded, "A group of people bullying one person. Are you girls that shameless?"

Suzy turned her head, and the man standing beside her was about 1.85 meters tall. His skin was fairer than a woman's, and he had fox-like eyes. At the moment, his red lips were slightly smiling but his smile seemed to be filled with a nefarious

aura.

Once he was done talking, he swung the hand holding the bat forcefully and coldly spat out a word from his lips. "Scram!"

The women were taken aback by the man's beauty at first, but their expressions changed when their companion was tossed aside. The eyes of the woman in a denim outfit flickered. "Mind your own business!"

The man smiled, and his fair face showed slight coldness and contempt. "I wouldn't care if it's anyone else's business. But I mind if it's hers!"

The woman in the denim outfit frowned. "Who are you to her?"

The man stood in front of Suzy, looked back at her, and smiled charmingly. "Her boyfriend!"

Suzy looked at the guy, her eyes as clear and quiet as always like a mountain spring. She was seemingly soft and agile, but also cold as ice.

When the few women saw how ostentatious the man was acting while dressed in expensive clothes, they could not figure out his identity. Hence, their voices became more hesitant. "She broke our friend's leg, so she has to apologize!" The man narrowed his eyes. "Your friend?"

The woman immediately said arrogantly, "Yes! Tiffany Jones. Her father is the chairman of Happy Star."

The man laughed abruptly, mocking her with disdain, "I thought it was some important person. If I allow my girlfriend to apologize to Kenneth Jones' daughter, I'm afraid he'll be scared witless!"

The women were stunned for a moment. Then, the woman holding the bat tugged at the sleeve of the woman in the denim jacket and said something in a low voice. The woman in the denim jacket was startled and looked at the man standing in front of Suzy. The surprise in her eyes soon turned into fear and panic. She looked at Suzy suspiciously.

It was no wonder Suzy rejected Yasial. It turned out that...

"Just forget about today's matter." The woman in the denim jacket had obviously lost her confidence. She took a few steps back, gave a look to her friends behind her, turned around, and walked away.

A hint of surprise flashed across Suzy's eyes, but she did not ask any further questions. After the women had walked away, she turned to the man and said, "Thank you!"

Her tone was sincere, and she was ready to go back to school afterward.

The man put his hands in his trouser pockets, looked at the woman's delicate profile, and said with a light smile, "I just saved you. Are you just going to say thanks?"
