The Sweet Pursuit by Golden Autumn -
Chapter 152
Colt ran over from behind Suzy and said, "Let's head in!"
In front of West Bank's entrance, George narrowed his eyes slightly. His gaze swept past the few people in front of him. He turned around to enter the door of the restaurant.
Suzy remembered what Colt said on the phone before. She wondered if she should go over and thank George. However, she was afraid that George would not give her the time of day.
Colt had already walked ahead, so Suzy nodded and said, "Let's go."
Colt had booked a private dining room in advance. The three of them went in. The waiter came over and started taking their order.

In the private room upstairs, George was standing by the window when James came over and said with a smile, "Is the guy next to the silly little girl just now her classmate or her boyfriend?"
James had turned to look at Suzy and the others as well when he was with George earlier. He noticed Nelly first, then Suzy, which made him feel a little surprised. He did not expect the two of them to be friends.
When the guy was running over behind Suzy, James clearly sensed that George's face had darkened slightly.
George merely shot a glance at him. Then, he turned back to the table, pulled out a chair, and sat down.
They were all acquaintances, so they knew George's palate. They had ordered the dishes in advance for him, and when they saw him coming over, they immediately asked what he wanted to drink today.
Before George could speak, James asked, "Which alcohol tastes sour?"
Others did not know what he was implying and replied earnestly, "Sour? Did G have a change of taste today?"
James smiled meaningfully and said, "Yes. The sourer the better!"
George stared at him coldly. "Do you wish to die?"
James was overjoyed. "Well, it's your fault for having such a sour face from the moment you entered the door. It's so easy to misunderstand, y'know?"
George took out a cigarette and lit it up, ignoring him.
James came over and said with a low chuckle, "Everything's just for fun and games. Why are you being so serious?"
George took a puff of the cigarette and said casually, "Who said anything about being
serious?"
"Then why are you angry?"
George glanced at him with a sinister sneer on the corner of his mouth. "Because I'm not done playing. Is that good enough?"
James raised his eyebrows. "Since you haven't had enough fun with her, start coaxing her. What's the use of being angry? If you continue to restrain yourself like this, the girl will get herself a new boyfriend!"
George was getting irritated. He had a sullen look on his face and did not say a word.
On Suzy's side, the dishes were slowly served. The three of them sat and chatted together in a pleasant atmosphere.
!
It was especially so for Colt and Nelly as the two hit it off at first sight. They found that they had a lot in common as they chatted, so they talked enthusiastically.
Nelly was playful and pleasant. She loved to laugh, so it was easy for people to feel closer to her.
When their food arrived, Suzy did not participate in the conversation between the two. She only concentrated on enjoying the food.
After two dishes were served, the waiter came in and said to Colt, "Mr. Schmidt, we'll have to ask for you to personally choose the French blue lobsters you ordered before our chef can cook them for your table. Please come with me."
Colt found the situation to be a little odd. In the past when he ordered food, the waiter would personally bring over the ingredients to the private room if they needed to be selected. Why did he need to go over to make his pick today? Nonetheless, Colt did not say anything and merely excused himself from the table before getting up and going out with the waiter.
The waiter took him to the front room of the back kitchen to see the lobsters. Once Colt made sure there was no problem with the lobsters, the waiter then escorted him back.
As the two were passing by the lobby, Colt saw the man sitting on the sofa in the leisure area at a single glance. With a surprised expression on his face, he asked the waiter to go ahead first and walked toward the leisure area by himself.
"Uncle George?" Colt walked over to greet him.
George was looking at his phone. When he heard Colt's greeting, he raised his head and smiled gracefully. "Colt? Come, sit."
"So, it's really you?" Colt was incredibly joyful and sat down on the opposite soda. "I told
Suzy to invite you to dinner, but she said you had something going on tonight. I didn't expect to see you here. What a coincidence!"
