But this show was like Amara's baby, and she wanted to see it through to the end herself. She didn't want to be booted out for no good reason!

She wasn't doing this job just for the money; it was about fulfilling her own dreams! But none of them seemed to care about that.

Amara was trembling with anger, though she couldn't explode like she did yesterday. She wasn't ready to sign her name away just like that. What was she supposed to do?

"Amara, maybe you should just sign. Liliana's got a point, you know. Staying here is like hiding your talent. You could totally start writing a new show."

"Amara, Mr. Everly's offering you a pretty decent severance, and he's investing in your next script. It's a good deal, you should take it."

Seeing Amara's silence, a few of the more respected members of the crew tried to persuade her.

Amara finally saw things clearly-these people were just fair-weather friends. Yesterday, they comforted her when she was wronged, but today they were siding with Finnian as the latter gave her a hard time.

Only Cedric was on her side, but as the director, he had too many constraints. He couldn't openly support her.

So, for now, all the influential leaders and veterans of the crew were urging Amara to leave. Amara bit her lip hard, feeling overwhelmed by exasperation and humiliation.

She looked at Finnian's indifferent face and Liliana's slightly upturned lips, and her heart felt like it was bleeding.

"You want Ama to leave? Fine, I'll go with her. I'm done with this show. Just send my agent the penalty for breaking the contract."

At that moment, the gate swung open, and a casual voice rang out from the entrance. Amara felt a strong arm around her and looked up at Keith. He gazed down at her and flashed a bright smile.

"What happened? Are they bullying you again?" he asked, looking into her eyes.

In that moment, Amara felt like she might cry. She nodded but didn't say a word.

At a time when everyone seemed to be against her, her best friend suddenly stood up to protect her. Her heart was overwhelmed with emotion, and she feared that if she spoke, tears would start to fall.

"You two..." Cedric was stunned, looking at the two of them, wanting to ask about

their relationship but replaceing it inappropriate, so he held back.

Everyone around them was equally astonished, with mouths agape. Even Liliana stared at them in disbelief.

Keith had been a top star in the entertainment industry for the past few years. Handsome, from a good family, with great acting skills and a likable personality, he had countless fans swooning over him.
