She didn't say it outright but gave Kevin a few comforting words before pretending to have something to do and hanging up the phone.

In the Everly family estate, Kevin put down his phone and sighed, turning to Lisa. "You mentioned before that Finn might have a thing for Ama. Is that true?"

Lisa was uncertain now, hesitating as she replied, "Well, back in Mrs. Amara Everly's break room, I noticed how Mr. Finn Everly was constantly glancing at her. I thought he might have some interest.

But today, Liliana dared to post that kind of tweet. She must have had Mr. Finn Everly's approval. He knew this would affect how people see the Everly family, and he still went ahead with it. He must really care for Liliana. What on earth is going on?"

Lisa looked a bit regretful, thinking she might have been too clever for her own good by mentioning it to Mr. Kevin Everly.

"Alas, never mind. I'll give that little rascal a call and see what he's really thinking."

Meanwhile, Elysia left Amara's apartment and got into her car parked downstairs. She didn't drive off immediately but instead pulled out her phone and made a call.

A few minutes later, Elysia hung up, pressed the gas pedal, and left Amara's neighborhood. Half an hour later, her car pulled up in front of an upscale club.

Elysia, being a member, swiped her card and walked in, heading straight to a private room. She flung the door open. Inside the dimly lit room sat a group of seven or eight men and women, with Finnian and Liliana at the center.

Elysia stormed over to them, but then she noticed Dorian and Jessica sitting on a nearby couch.

Jessica was a comely girl with delicate features, nestled close to Dorian in a fragile, dainty manner. Dorian wasn't holding her, but his arm was draped behind her, making it look like he was. Elysia's pupils contracted in an instant.

Dorian noticed Elysia suddenly and quickly withdrew his hand, standing up with a frown. "What are you doing here?"

Elysia swallowed the sharp pain in her heart, not forgetting her purpose for being there. She marched over to Finnian, her voice filled with rage.

"You and this woman have a child? A child is one thing, but you let her announce it before you're even divorced. Have you two no shame?

It may not matter if you are barefaced, but Amara still wants her dignity. Couldn't you think about her when you pulled this stunt?"

Elysia let out her barrage of words, glaring daggers at Finnian with heaving breaths, clearly furious.

Finnian stood up, his eyes cold as he remarked, "How did you replace this place?"

"None of your business!"

Finnian was an imposing man,

towering over Elysia by a good eight

inches, but she showed no sign of

backing down, her chin slightly. raised as she stared him down determined to stand up for her friend.

Dorian came over, grabbing Elysia's arm and said, his voice subdued, "Cut it out. Come outside with me."

Dorian's voice was stern, like he was

scolding Elysia, who turned her head to see Jessica giving her a sweet, innocent smile-so innocent it was almost cruel.

A wave of overwhelming anger and sadness washed over her, and she couldn't quite tell who was to blame anymore.
